  • What’s up everyone and happy Thursday yet again! Again, it has been far too long since I've visited this creek, it was AWESOME to get back out and do some Indiana geode collecting! There were so many geodes! And there was so much that was filmed, this will be a 3-part collecting extravaganza, with this being the second installment!!
This creek is located in southern Indiana, and one of my favorites to frequent when I have the chance to get down there! I take paisley and my friend Jared along with me and we find some awesome things! So kick your feet up, grab a drink and join me for some of the greatest geode hunting content there is!

My favorite rock hounding trip was an un-expected one. My sister in law and eye went fishing with my brother, and these stuipid 3" long blue gills kept swallowing my bait and so i gave up onfishing and turned to rock hounding! and my sister in law suzi and i filled a 2 gal bucket full of agates from out at the river and my brother craig almost caught an eagle that was trying to steal his catch from him before he could reel it in! That was a good day and we still didnt get a quarter of what you did! Great part 2! waiting for part three!

My wife, my new stepmother, and my father went on our second hunt last week. We found a creek bed that was dried up, but it was filled with geodes and fossils. This was a great time for me because my relationship with my father has been rocky (pun intended) for a long time. We didn't load up a flatbed like some people do. I did fill a tote about halfway and a bucket about a third of the way with fossils. It was a great time for our second experience and was much more fruitful.

My favorite rockhounding memory is when I found my first LSA! It was about 6 feet into the water, the water was only about 8 inches deep at that point but the water was probably 45 degrees and it was about 50 degrees and windy🥶 my feet were freezing but I had to know what that red "lightbulb" was glowing in the lake🤩 so I kept looking with my feet in the water until my feet were numb that day. And that is also when my rockhounding addiction truly started! Got me hooked!

I’m not able to walk much. Wish i could cause I’d love nothing more than finding beautiful geodes. It’d be terrific to have one that you’ve found.

This creek is incredible! Too bad you can't get that huge one with the agate banding. Yeah, I definitely would have left the one with the worm in it.😅 Thanks for sharing Tyler!✌️🤠

This really is searching for a geode but we went to a rock show and I let my son who was 5yrs old , hes 13 now, at the time pick a geode and you can watch them Crack it open. First 2 were nothing so he picked a 3rd one out and it had a beautiful and rare pool inside. He was so excited. Thats my favorite memory. Happy Hunting!!

Lots of great finds. Can't wait to see them opened up. I might've tried to fight that tree for that big banded one though. 😅

Just recently I went fishing with friends and found some amazing geology. I live near the badlands of Alberta and found a spot that erosion has exposed a massive layer of rock with tons of exposed fossils. Will be going back! Lol

Hello there! I don't know if you remember but my name is Paige. I ran into you the other day while out geode hunting with my friends for the first time! Thank you so much for help us and confirming we were on the right track! I didn't realize at the time but I had actually already watched one of your videos which was how I knew what to look for! You're a great teacher! Thank you so much!

I just got back from a very good rock club trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Explored some mine dumps for tourmaline, mica, rose quartz, teepee canyon agate, prairie agate, jasper, fossils and more. Had a real good time. I really like your geode hunting trips and your geode cracking videos. Thanks for sharing.

Tyler do you ever find anything that jumps out at you flipping those bigger rocks? 😬 Last time I was at the lake I found what I think was a fox skeleton, it didn't jump out at me but I jumped and screamed swear words.... One of the kids from the campsite came over on his bike to check on me and ask me about my rocks🤣
