This looks really cool. I love my MC6 and have recently been looking at the ML5 to add control of non-midi pedals but I sure I'll be getting the ML10 instead now.
Are the trs jacks pcb mounted? Would it be possible to mod the unit and replace them with 2 ts jacks instead? (With a bigger enclosure). I know I would loose the warranty, but I'm looking for a sturdy connection. The whole idea is what a studio + live guitar player ever wanted. Thanks for developing this.
if you run 10 mono loops, are the stereo pairs locked next to each other when you go to reorder the routing? ie can I take (loop 5 left) and put it up front next to (loop 2 right), and keep (loop 5 right) down at the end of the chain? 10 loops is a lot but if you can't split them off for routing its really just like a mini boss ES-5
@@MorningstarEngineering that's good news! that makes this little box a no brainer purchase, i've been waiting for something that does what ES-8 does without taking up half the pedal board. thanks! 👍
Great! Love the ability to route pedals in parallel. Can stereo pedals be also routed in parallel? Or is the mixer mono only? I run most of my pedals in stereo. Thanks.
@@MorningstarEngineering Thanks for your reply. Just to clarify, can one reorder stereo pedals from series to parallel and back? On the same vein, can the phase in the loops be reversed? Some pedals I have (eg VENTRIS) reverse the phase and the signal is almost gone when I run one of those in parallel with a pedal that doesn't. BTW, when will there be stock again? Thanks.
I think I know the answer, but to be certain, is it possible to use (for example) output 5 (or 9+10...depending on how you look at it) as another set of outputs? I have multiple amps that are "stereo". Sometimes I want a loop of some sort to go to one amp and my active signal to go to another...in stereo. I have the Sound Sculpture Switchblade (the previous king of matrix routing before you dropped the ML10X) and this was possible. The video does not go down the rabbit hole of what the complex editor is capable of....hence the question.
Unfortunately, due to supply issues we do not have enough stock to supply dealers this time round. We are working to supply them in the next production round.

The 10 mono loops and the re-order is exactly what I wanted the ML5 to be. Good stuff
Hell yes!!! it's been a year of waiting for this product to see the light, thank you james for listening our needs on the forum!
Wow this is huge. I'm dreaming of a Strymon Deco but it's got so many different purposes in different order in the chain, this is perfect for it
Brilliant, been waiting for this from Morningstar.
Just ordered mine; can't wait. The programming looks awesome.

Noice! I’m buying one immediately!
Always innovating! Love your products.
Full demo video on its way please?
We are working on it!
any updates on this?@@MorningstarEngineering
any plans on a new version of the mc8 ?

Can you send one loop back into itself? Or say Pedal A>Pedal B>Pedal A a second time?
Perfect timing!
Sweet! This is exactly what I wanted when the ML5 came out.
This is badass. What Controller works best with this if I want to run ten mono pedals?

Yes, you can. All loops (even those that are split) are independent and can be placed in any position you want

If you only need 5 mono loops, can you plug TS cables into it or do you still have to use a TS to TRS adapter?
Yes, you can use a TS cable if you intend to use each port only as a single mono loop.

Hi. Yes, you can route stereo pedals in parallel too. All sends and returns are buffered so you can split and merge all of them as you please

Hi. Yes, every I/O is buffered and you can use the Sends as outputs if you wish
Great product.
💪 good job
wow, yes please
Can I use this to expand my Boss ES-8?
Hi. Yes, you can! Refer to this: ruclips.net/video/f-w_jLoz6Mw/видео.html
Cool!!
Why cant i see the replies to the questions ppl hsve asked?
Can you see this?
@@MorningstarEngineering yes
Can see them all now. Odd
Stereo you say? 🤔🧐
Already sold out. When will it be available again?
It has just been released! - www.morningstar.io/shop
And it’s sold out
@@MorningstarEngineering looks like it is sold out already :(
Wow!
EU dealers that supply them??

Can I plug my ML5 into the ML10X?
Yes, you can. But all 5 pedals in the ML5 will be reordered together in a group as they will all be contained within a single ML10X loop.

Wow
Oh shit
