With the summoning of The Old One, a colorless fog swept across the land, unleashing nightmarish creatures that hungered for human souls. Those whose souls were stripped from them, lost their minds - left only with the desire to attack the sane that remained.
Now, Boletaria is cut off from the outside world, and the knights who dare penetrate the deep fog to free the land from its plight, are never seen again. As a lone warrior who has braved the baneful fog, you must face the hardest of challenges to earn the title “Slayer of Demons” and send The Old One back to its slumber.

I absolutely loved my faith build in Demons Souls. The Mirdan hammer was one of my favorite weapons and I’m so happy that it’s still great in the remaster. Nice vid man I’ve been waiting for this to come out. I was curious if my previous set up would still be good and you answered that question beautifully.

Blessed Mace+1 (4-1, easy after Phalanx) is a great beginner alternative until you can get a better weapon (or if you're like me and hate skeletons, carry it around at all times, skeletons die super fast to Blunt damage from the mace).

@@mightythor-9286 you can find the blessed mace in 4-1 easily, or you can bless some weapons after it's +5 or +6 (can't remember) and you give the Fire Lurker soul to the blacksmith in 2-1. Read the wiki so you can check my info as I'm not certain on everything
Blessed mace is also super cheap in PvP cause it has infinite stunlock

This build looks fun. Back on the PS3 I had a Paladin type and this one looks right up my alley. I jsut got my PS5 and DeS but messing with a Blueblood sword build but thinking that might have been a mistake being so rusty with the game lol
I went 20 strength and upgraded the claymore first. It gets 418 dmg and I'm not even at 40 faith. At first I didn't like the faith build but the Regen is very good. I'm using the adjudicator shield and I only use grass in boss fights most of the time. I wanna upgrade the mirdan hammer,moonlight sword and maybe the knight sword or crescent axe. My first run through the game I died once to the flame lurker and beat everything else first try. I think the worst was getting upgrades for my weapons. It took me a long time to get one weapon fully upgraded. Other than that it's been a fun build. It's definitely underrated build

@FightinCowboy when should I start using the brushwood armor around what level or endurance and stop using the cling ring and start using the ring of great strength? Also which weapon did you use mostly in ng+ the mirdian hammer or Moonlight? Thanks for all the soul related videos I enjoy following along! A++

There's better weapons. Blessed gulitone axe is the ideal quick choice.

Consider myself as a bad pvp player... i made a faith build SL 60 (Adjuticator shield +5, regen ring, blessed knight sword +5) and NEVER lost a fight! Invaded over 100 worlds.
"With Cyberpunk coming out in just a day," lol. What did you end up doing to fill that void of hell? I went back to souls. I had never played DS2 so I got into that. In April of 2023 with v1.61 now out, I have considered checking out cyberpunk.

I was fighting a dude as the old monk for 30 minutes with this build lol. He kept trying and was wasting all his grass so I finally decided to fight him with my fists and it still went on for another 5 minutes.
Just getting into these games. Which Souls game is the best to start with?
This is a really good start. They all have some different mechanics, but the combat is amazing across the board. The only one I’m not a huge fan of is 2, but it’s still good. You can really pick up and play any of them without an issue, but if you can I’d do demon souls then the rest in order. It’s how they released originally too :) Have fun \[T]/

Does anyone know how to get the blessed Mirdan hammer? I can't find any videos on how to actually get it. I did find a video on how to get the Mirdan Hammer but no blessed mirdan hammers
you have to upgrade it at blacksmith Ed to make it blessed, there are many videos about the whole process to upgrade it that you can watch
The part i dont understand is, intel gives magic memory, magic just raises magic power, so is it so you can use death cloud? Or just extra points put there?
boss, can't help but wonder, why do you call it "meridian"?
also, moonlight gs and other magic dmg weapons "cut through" opponents, unless they are using high magic block shields, like dark silver shield (100% block). But yeah, most people don't use that...
I have this exact build but a female one so it's abit more squishy but allows me to wear the miracle ring and cling ring. Does the green jelly stack on the hp regen? I can't tell if it does or not.

sorry if this is late, but when you say "18health per second" do you actually regen 18health per second or is it per tick? im pretty sure the ticks are more like every 2s or something no?

How many play throughs do you normally have to do to reach SL 120?
It’s possible to reach it on your first play through (depending on how much you want to farm). But if you don’t farm much, you’ll get there on the second play through.

Hey guys what is the function of the cracked talisman of beasts in this build? And does it only work this way if I don’t meet the stat requirements? :o My understanding was it just lowers the % of damage drained via cursed weapon?:o
It is a convenience thing; allows you to cast miracles and sorceries (death cloud) without the need to slot two items. Since none of the spells in this build have damage scaling, it doesn't matter that you don't reach the stat requirements.

Is there a progression path. I find this build to be a little weak at just in general trying to play through certain parts of the game with it. Example would be anything that’s weak to magic.

How do you bless weapons guys because I have the pure faintstone that says I can bless streight swords and hammers. I'm trying to bless my mordant hammer but can't do it iv got it too plus 4 with still no option for blessed please help.
You upgrade it along the normal path I think up to +6, then you bring it to the blacksmith in 2-1
@lonely shade of blue yes, check the available upgrades below the standard path after +1, +2 and so on. Make sure to go to the Blacksmith in 2-1, not to the one in the Nexus.

I totally forgot that the MGS in Demons Soul's was a faith weapon. I got it on my int built, and was like oh f*ck when I saw the stat requirement. And I played the original DeS. To be fair I haven't played it since the PS3 server shut down. And it's not _that_ long ago.

You gotta get the weapon you want upgrades to +6 and then take it to Blacksmith Ed in 2-1. Only certain weapons can be blessed though. Those are the Bastard Sword
, Battle Axe, Claymore, Crescent Axe, Great Axe, Great Sword, Guillotine Axe, Halberd, Iron Knuckles, Knight Sword, Long Sword, Mace, Mirdan Hammer, Morning Star, and Short Sword

Too bad the Adjudicator shield is so freaking ugly. I prefer Blessed Iron Knuckles in the left hand, just for fashion
Just keep in mind two +5 blessed weapons won't stack.
@@FightinCowboy Ah yes, good tip. I have the Iron Knuckles at +3 so I will stop at +5. I just cannot handle that the Moonlight Sword sticks out of the shield like that 😅
