- On Friday, April 5th, U.S. President Donald Trump visited the LA area for a fundraiser in Beverly Hills. In this video, you will see the U.S. Secret Service leave Beverly Hills Fire Station 1 to pick up the president from Santa Monica Airport, various law enforcement agencies clearing off Sunset Boulevard, and finally the president's motorcade being escorted by the California Highway Patrol to the location of the fundraiser.

Very very cool. When you need a secure place (indoors) to park the Beast & his immediate friends, use the local Fire Hall. Perfect as a secure area, place for the drivers & teams to grab a little lunch, take a leak, relax a little. This might be a first to have witnessed (and posted) this. Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!

sRm it’s communication equipment, for their cell phones, computers, then they also have cell phone and radio jammers to block different frequency so you can’t use your phones in the area. Can’t use different types of radios, communication devices etc.
There are multiple and redundant layers of communications equipment when the POTUS travels. These include standard and secure terrestrial communications for voice, data and fax. Sometimes, written communications are required which cannot be accomplished in a standard passenger vehicle. Hence a secure. well-equipped mobile office is required wherever a POTUS or his staff is located or staying for the night. The work never stops. Confidential information can never be allowed outside of a fully secured area, which is always guarded. This has improved quite a bit over the years.
The SUV with satellite gear has the capability of communicating with any number of vital spaceborne links to remain in constant touch with DC, the Pentagon, other places and aircraft. Remember, a military officer always travels with the POTUS in case of an emergency. In some cases, HF/VHF/UHF/SHF military radios can be deployed as needed. In short, all equipment carried onboard can be used not only here at home but when traveling overseas. This basically duplicates the capabilities of AF1 on the ground. This simplifies the mission of the WH communications staff by assuring the POTUS always remains in constant contact. Some vehicles are specially equipped for ECM - Electronic Counter Measures against a wide variety of threats. It's a huge job to say the least.
