The first half of this video we just so happened to drive by and spot the site so we didn’t have the proper gear with us. Hence the flip flops and lack of gloves 😂😂
Hey when you find marbles do you ever check them with a black light? A lot of glass including marbles made before WW2 were made with uranium glass and glow under a black light.
What a awesome find to just stumble across! Get your digging clothes and boots on! Lol ! I do the same thing when I see a spot opened up I try to stop and look for artifacts. And if I find bottles it's just a bonus find! 😎 Made it a family affair too! Awesome!
Me and my boyfriend loved this video.. I kept saying don't leave the blue glass !! So many neat bottles though and it was so fast paced you had to take it all in at the end !! And I'm so glad your family was with you to enjoy this site too !! 🙂
Why can’t I be that lucky!!? Wow! You guys made out like a cat in a cheese factory. It was blowing my mind at watching you guys finding bottles left n right. Many of them were so cool. I really thought the one Melinda found towards end of video was really interesting. I’m so happy for all of you. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍🌟
great finds too bad about the truck. it is wonderful to be able to save a piece of history! all the bottles from the 20’s are so unique, especially the designs! so sad they were just dozing over that piece of history! Great job Brandon and it is great to have the family along too!
Fun, fun, fun. Amazing that you stumbled upon a construction sight filled with antique bottles. Brandon you are such a go getter 🎉Excellent following truck for permission to retrieve old bottles before they are crushed and lost forever. Love to see you digging and hunting with your loved ones!!🤗
Thats awesome that you were given permission to go through there . Great finds and so glad you noticed the place and saved all those beautiful bottles!! 😊❤😊
Looks like a fun time. I work construction in California and have found a few bottles on the job, but probably have found 100 arrowheads. Keep up the good work.
Britlings Cafeteria had two locations in Birmingham. One on 1st Avenue, N. Between 19th and 20th Street and the other one was on 20th Street N. We would go there for lunch after church when I was a kid.
Sir you have a beautiful family! Your mother and wife are beautiful ladies. I'm so happy yaw got to do this with the whole family! You are one blessed man!
@@adventurearchaeology Your welcome! I hope you understand! There is so many men that have taken their wives and children for granted. Also many who are lonely hoping one day they will have a beautiful wife and family one day. I am the second one. When most of my friends are married and already having kids it's hard being the single man in the group. You both are in a different season. It's like they forgot how it is to be single so it's hard for them to understand. I'm not saying I'm being foolish just chasing a girl just to get a girlfriend to live with. I get that marriage is the most difficult thing you go through because it's literally choosing a life to lay down your self for the Bride you Love. You have to lay down your free will even when she acts like she doesn't deserve it. Yes it's a pleasure and great adventure but it's the greatest challenge of Life loving, dealing, and living with someone 24/7 until last breath! Then adding a child or multiple children to the picture. A beautiful and Amazing life! But also very painful! So I get it that it's so much easier to be single. Yet the waiting is very hard! Waking up to live for your self gets boring and depressing at times. I guess I am a rare one in our Generation. I'm old school romantic. I have dreamed of marriage since I was at least 11-12 years old. I had amazing grandparents! I have amazing parents! I just want to be worthy enough for whomever God has chosen for me in the future! I pray I will be the selfless and sacrificial kind of Husband! Also that kind of Father to our Children! To Disapline and yet show Mercy! To LOVE Unconditionally Yet bring down my foot when I need to. To show Grace yet correct as well. I'm already getting teary Eyed writing this. I believe it will be worth it when that day comes when I meet the Queen of my Heart! To court my princess, then marry my Queen, and then bring forth our royal kids will be the most Amazing adventure of a lifetime! 🥲🥲
We knew the site would have bottles of something was ever done there. We have lists of dumps that we’ve researched that are all under current buildings and parking lots so we just keep our eyes pealed in those areas for tractor work haha
Soo cool! Too bad about the load going to the dump. I was wondering if that cool western union sign got folded on itself? All because you saw shiny glass. Congrats!
We had a western union in my little town for years and years until napa came in and bought them out and now it is napa I can remember going in western u in with my grandpa and they had old motor pistons for ashtrays and my grandpa and the older guys would all stand around for two hours gabbing and smoking camel non filters why I ate candy from the candy machine and drank rc cola lol good times for sure
Brandon, you probably don't remember this but I found a Dallas bottle that's exactly like at 4:13 here!! Mine sadly is not complete. I still love it 😊 I can only dream of having something like that to hunt ❤
Dude, I love deco sodas! Great finds! I've only found one deco soda ever, and I'm going digging tomorrow. Do you have any tips on how to find a 30s - 60s dump? I have a probe, but I have never found any dump with it. I love that NuGrape and NEHI, too.
Man I wish you guys would keep those cold ball blue ones even if they have a break on them you can put them in your you're for sale shop with your t-shirts and hoodies I know I would buy them
we're kind of glad this week that you didn't find any marbles, if you had that would have been heartbreaking to have only three days to hunt them and then not be able to go back.
Thats cool idea, smart move man, just think they would all be smash if yall would'nt have rallied together and saved a little history. Got any idea what was on that site, was it old houses????
The first half of this video we just so happened to drive by and spot the site so we didn’t have the proper gear with us. Hence the flip flops and lack of gloves 😂😂

Thanks.
Wow guys that was amazing
What’s even more lucky than finding the construction site, having the whole family come out and search with you!! Awesome!!
So true!
What a awesome find to just stumble across! Get your digging clothes and boots on! Lol ! I do the same thing when I see a spot opened up I try to stop and look for artifacts. And if I find bottles it's just a bonus find! 😎 Made it a family affair too! Awesome!
Awesome finds!!
Thanks for bringing us along.
Good eye!
You’re absolutely out saving history in this adventure. Great variety of bottles.
Me and my boyfriend loved this video.. I kept saying don't leave the blue glass !! So many neat bottles though and it was so fast paced you had to take it all in at the end !! And I'm so glad your family was with you to enjoy this site too !! 🙂
This was interesting finding all of those bottles at a construction site. Fun days with the whole family! Have a wonderful weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

What a great place to look for bottles, Brandon! I'm glad you were given permission, and it's great to see the entire family together!❤
Holy crap! Jackpot! Amazing finds!
How cool. Talk about right spot at the right time!!! Thanks for sharing.
It's nice you were given permission. Nowadays, it's rare they let you in. It's also cool your family could join you. Nice finds

Great job Brandon and it is great to have the family along too!
You were able to save quite a few! Great find!
Flip flop digging at its finest 😂. Love it! Thanks for keeping it real 🤙🏽
Dang ! The LUCK !!! Well, I've heard of "Ambulance Chasers" but "Dump Truck Chasers"? HOPE 🤞some of these finds make their way onto eBay.💲💲💲💲
What a great location, looks like you had fun.

Awesome finds and love it’s a family affair ❤
Thank you Brandon and family for sharing this with me
Looks like a fun time. I work construction in California and have found a few bottles on the job, but probably have found 100 arrowheads. Keep up the good work.
Dang I’d take some good arrowheads any day haha
Awesome you were able to save some of them!! Lucky find for sure, good luck on your future adventures!!
Oh man...this was an awesome video...glad you guys got to get some great bottles...🥰🥰

Very cool! Thanks for the info!
Bro your “old leather shoes, means good bottles” theory has been holding strong for me so far at my cpl dig spots in Michigan!
That’s awesome!
WOW that's wild. Easy pickings for sure. Once again very cool video. ✌
Looked like an amazing day awesome finds 💪
U have got to b the luckiest bottle hunter I have ever seen man lol 😂😮
Lots of behind the scenes research. We have known about this site for years just had to wait for the tractors to show up haha
"...and we only have 3 days." Have you folks watched TIME TEAM?! Way-to-go, all of you!
Sir you have a beautiful family! Your mother and wife are beautiful ladies. I'm so happy yaw got to do this with the whole family! You are one blessed man!
Thanks so much

Cool family adventure!
Fun family adventure with some great finds!
Great finds Brandon, you were in the right place and time to go to the dump and look for old bottles. Your mom found a nice western union
Now that's my style bottle huntin! Let someone else do the work... just walk around pickin'! Nice!
Had you known there was a dump there previously? Maybe somewhere to do future digs?
We knew the site would have bottles of something was ever done there. We have lists of dumps that we’ve researched that are all under current buildings and parking lots so we just keep our eyes pealed in those areas for tractor work haha
@@adventurearchaeology S Searcher killin it in Bama! Sure spends a lot time over there.
THAT WAS AWESOME THANK YOU 👍🙏>>>💚
Fun hunt! Glad you were able to find it!
Awesome video , too bad no hutches
I think they’re deeper and sadly they stopped the project but who knows what may be around the next corner haha
That would be *SO* much fun! ♥
Awesome , and lucky!
Sweet finds!
No way I have allways wanted to do this. Lucky.......😅
Right place right time ! 👍👍
I have found some of my best marbles in construction sites dont forget to keep eye out for the marbles
I liked this one.
What a lucky day!! ❤
I wish I could find a construction site like that!❤
How cool they let you look there for bottles! :-)
What fun!!
Soo cool! Too bad about the load going to the dump.
I was wondering if that cool western union sign got folded on itself?
All because you saw shiny glass. Congrats!
It wasn’t folded sadly but may have been a crossed sign.
Easy picking! What a honey hole!
always a goodun !
OK I'm calling rigged lol never had it that easy lol congrats
We had a western union in my little town for years and years until napa came in and bought them out and now it is napa I can remember going in western u in with my grandpa and they had old motor pistons for ashtrays and my grandpa and the older guys would all stand around for two hours gabbing and smoking camel non filters why I ate candy from the candy machine and drank rc cola lol good times for sure
Loved this. In S.C. there is a lokk of construction so I guess I get to stop some truck.😊
I hit construction lots every weekend. Surprised you didn’t find any marbles. Awesome hunt.
We were very shocked to have not found marbles as well!
Britlings was a cafeteria chain; I remember eating at one in Huntsville many years ago. It was a little more upscale than today's cafeterias. 😎
Y'all cleaned up at the dump
Wow that's a field or dump of dreams situation. You pick up bottles until you get tired. Lol These opportunities are rare enjoy
Brandon, you probably don't remember this but I found a Dallas bottle that's exactly like at 4:13 here!! Mine sadly is not complete. I still love it 😊
I can only dream of having something like that to hunt ❤
Now that you mention it I do remember!
Y’all need a mule with a cart for sites like this. 😊 What a gold mine.
Y’all each need a bottle-collecting basket or bag…merch idea_put your logo on it
Dude, I love deco sodas! Great finds! I've only found one deco soda ever, and I'm going digging tomorrow. Do you have any tips on how to find a 30s - 60s dump? I have a probe, but I have never found any dump with it. I love that NuGrape and NEHI, too.
Old Newspaper articles are definitely key for research!
Jackpot!
Man I wish you guys would keep those cold ball blue ones even if they have a break on them you can put them in your you're for sale shop with your t-shirts and hoodies I know I would buy them
So jealous
we're kind of glad this week that you didn't find any marbles, if you had that would have been heartbreaking to have only three days to hunt them and then not be able to go back.
Bahaha
Man I would've had a full truck for sure.
Britling’s was a cafeteria in the 1950s-1970s
How fun wish I could find a truck like that that would let me dig in their trash for antique bottles
Do you try to leave the grapes on the nu grape bottles? Can you cut up on the shoulder? Had to be a fun day!
We try it all depends on how the cracks and air bubbles line up.
That’s a fun way to bottle hunt, not as much digging for you
1:14 Are you sure that isn’t a Nuka Cola? If you know, you know.
Fallout time haha
Where are the steel toed shoes
Thats cool idea, smart move man, just think they would all be smash if yall would'nt have rallied together and saved a little history. Got any idea what was on that site, was it old houses????
It was a town dump at one point.
Buy the land Brandon …at any price, don’t be a cheapskate 😲🍻
Hahaha I’ll have to start a Only Bottles page to afford that
Can you imagine 100 years from now someone digging in their backyard and going wow look at this cool plastic coke bottle😂
lol they definitely won’t be after the millions that have been mass produced.
It must just kill you knowing there are bottles in the dump you can’t get to.
It definitely does. The agreement was we could only surface hunt we couldn’t dig so I can’t imagine what would’ve been deeper 🤦♂️
Where are your gloves 🧤
Have to take the opportunity when presented so first day we didn’t have any gear haha
Great video
