I have to say, thats impressive. I can neither afford a big new 4x4 or have the need for one, but as much as LR cars are great in all conditions, I do worry about their reliability. Used a Discovery 3 for a while couple of years ago with job, it was scary because of all the warning lights on the dash. No idea what they were warning me about, I just kept my foot on the accelerator and hoped for the best !

The $7k was repairs only, not general/regular maintainance. After that I was not interested in buying another LR. But these vids I see, make me sway back to LR everytime.
at 1:20 if you're careful car sits diagonally. pajero v20 only has rear diff lock at the time of 1:20 it will not climb on. Discovery 3 has a good traction control.
It's called progress, the defender is still pretty basic compared to most modern trucks. The LR3 is dam good offroad, better than the D1, it's biggest problem is the 2.8ton weight, but this does make it a better tow vehicle and stupidly strong. As for the video, nothing impressive, but good control and angles from the driver and respect for taking our a brand new 4x4 and using right.
i am glad that we"meet" this way,,, i saw almost all ur video and i like that u try the imposibble. i like that u never speed in holeand then use ur experience to take them out of there wish u the best video

when Tata buyed lrd3 hope they keep technical stuff and i hope their involvement to be only financial not technical would be a shame if lrd3 will lose the great performance and not to be pround about land rover discovery 3
thats a lot :D did the rear bumper touch the ground when going back up, so around 1:20-1:30? It nearly did on the way down :D Oh and you could trick it into extended suspension height, then access super extended. You get a couple more valuable degrees of departure and approach angles :)

The truck's ability to climb the concrete with wet tires is one complication I wouldn't have thought about before driving my Z71 into such waters.

Had a 300 tdi for three and a half years could not get it stuck at all it climbed over everything i pointed it at
