      Aside from running 1 mile everyday and eating mostly healthy. I did each excersive for 3 mins each.

    I go to a physical therapist for diastisis recti and this is exactly what they instruct me to do. So glad you share this information out for everyone to try it out. If you can’t afford PT, follow this video & try the 21 day challenge.

    To anyone reading this post , it is never too late to start .my baby is 26 years old!! I NEVER knew nor informed about this .Was doing wrong exercises for years wondering why no results.There is hope , Im going to work on this the right way finally 😠

    I am 14 years postpartum & I am seeing a difference in my lower belly doing these exercises (I also viewed a few others on RUclips). I never even knew what Diastasis recti was until recently. I can’t believe I have gone this many years doing the wrong ab exercises!

    This exercise really works! I’m 6 weeks postpartum and started this about 8 days ago. I had a two and a half finger separation that is now a one finger gap. Don’t know how it worked so fast, but it did. I’m going to finish the 21 days because I don’t know if stopping too soon can make it come back, but I just had to get on here to encourage others to try it.

    I started doing these exercises 2 weeks back + reduced carb intake + brisk walk for 1/2 hour daily in the morning.... It is really working . Very very happy to see the changes in me. Thank you 😊

    I can't thank you enough! I had twins 4 years ago and have had lower back pain that had increased over the years. I tried these exercises on Sunday and got immediate relief. I missed yesterday, but still had no pain all day. I am back doing these exercises today and will continue until I see my belly tighten. God bless you!

    I just did these 4 exercises for the first time today. Each exercise I did 10 times and side planks I did 3 times on each side. Wow, after completing I can actually feel my core muscles again! I’ve just awoken them! I’m doing this for the 21 day challenge. The 21st day will be on Christmas Day. I’ve had 3 kids, all via c-section and I never did anything to heal my abdomen. Ummm my youngest is 9 and eldest is 18! Self neglect I know!!!
    I’m also walking 30 minutes a day and doing 2 shakes meal replacements a day and a healthy dinner at night.
    Just 21 days and I can’t wait to see the difference in my tummy! 🙌🏽

      I am 14 years out with three c-sections and a hysterectomy. I just found out about DR. I had no idea it existed and realized that has been what was wrong with me. I’ve been to doctor after doctor to ask why my stomach did what it did, diet after diet and no help. I started doing my own research and have about a four finger gap and excited to see if I can fix this in my 40’s. I wish my OB doc would have told me about this and it could have been corrected years ago. Starting this challenge tomorrow along with a new diet and exercise plan.

    Dude, I've seen a million different exercises by so many different people for diastasis recti. This is the most digestible/doable form I've seen it laid out! Thanks for the print off...I've already done the first workout and man what a burn! Who knew? Everyone else I've followed for these exercises have not been able to get me to easily engage the right muscles and it never felt like this kind of burn. I love the simpleness of thinking of tilting my hips to loose that back gap and pulling my bellybutton to my spine. SO HELPFULL. I am so grateful I finally found something free and simple and effective.

    I am so grateful you posted this especially because DR is not very much talked about ( I mean doctors don’t even check you for it.) knowing you have DR and not knowing what to do about it because of the lack of content on DR out there is very frustrating and anxiety driven. I thank you for your DR content and I see you have an entire mommy tummy fix plan!! At a VERY reasonable price which just shows how much you truly want to help all of the moms out there.     So excited for this challenge! I have a huge ab gap after having twins that were each over 9lbs, and then having two singleton pregnancies since then where they were each over 10lbs. This is the first video I saw that talked about how the muscle wraps all the way around to your back - here I’ve done exercises before to work my transverse abdominus muscles and I thought I was doing wrong since I could feel it in my back too. Makes sense that you’ll feel it in your back as well since that muscle wraps all the way around.

      Wow congratulations on your beautiful children, and I'm totally Amazed 😲 when I was reading about the size of your children, I have had 7 children between 9llb to 10.5llb babies and it tough carrying them around to 40 plus weeks, so I cant imagine carrying two babies 9llb and then 2 more 10llb babies,you should be so proud of yourself and what your body has done, wishing you all the best on your recovery ❤️

It sounds like we both carry babies large - my two babies before I had twins were each over 9 and 10lbs too :) I’m so thankful they’re so healthy but it does take a toll on your body! I’m thankful for what my body has done but also need to do what I can to strengthen it and make sure I’m as healthy as I can be :)

    I had my baby 7 yrs ago and ever since I had DR condition. 2 yrs ago I started hard core exercise at the martial art class without realizing I was doing harm to the existing condition. Towards the end of January 2021, I came across this video. I started the challenge from 1st Feb 2021 with 4 fingers gap (did not consider the diet part) and by mid march my DR gap reduced to 2.5. But It wouldn't go lower than that even after exercisingevery single day.... I was happy that it reduced, but wasn't content. I wanted it to close fully or by at least 1 finger gap. I consulted a dietitian/ nutritionist and she told me to continue with the exercise and follow clean and healthy eating. So, within 3 wks my gap was reduced to 1 finger.
    I never write comments ...but I had to write this. I wanted to thank you Dr Jared. Without your challenge and ofcourse the diet this looked next to impossible. You guys made it possible for me and I am ever grateful to you and your team.
    I still have a little bit of the baby pooch and I plan to fix it fully by doing these exercises and eating right. Getting greedy 😋

    I can't believe my fierce level of commitment with this challenge!! Only 3 more days to go! I have integrated them to my daily life like drinking water and after the 21 days they will be just another part of my routine exercises. And the results are spectacular!!! Thank you thank you thank you for making these videos and making them so easy and fun to follow. You guys are gladiators of physical therapy in disguise!!!

      U just gave me hope... I m 2.5yrs postpartum... n I have been doing core exercises but still have a bug mummy tummy... those core exercise dint help.i thought I was too late to get back my tummy to normal. U gave me hope !!:) I ll do this challenge now. Thanks

    I have reduced my abs separation from 4 finger gap to 2 finger gap using this, but I couldn't do this for around a month. But I trust this one! And I am going to restart this. Fingers crossed !

    I have completed 21 days challenge and I can definitely feel and see the difference.. It is working for sure... I am gonna continue this for some more days until it gets completely healed... Now I have confidence that this condition is also curable.. For not so new mom's out there, I am mom of 7 year old and a 1.2 year old kid and this shows result for me... So go ahead!!

    Today on 8/1/19 marks 21 days! Can’t believe the results, omg it’s amazing. I started with 3 fingers gap underneath belly button and 2 fingers above and below belly button. Today above and below totally closed and less than 1 finger gap under belly button area. Thank you so much!! No more looking pregnant. Oh and if you wondering i am 2 years postpartum.

    This is great!! I've completed this challenge and also continuing with these exercises.. I was 7 weeks post partum when I started doing the exercise. Now I'm almost 11 weeks pp. I had a 3and half finger gap when I started. Now it has reduced to 2.5 finger gap! Thanks a ton!!

    Finished this challenge tonight :)
    Starting gaps: 2cm (above BB) 3cm (belly button) 1cm (below BB)
    Tonight's gaps: 1.25cm (above) 2cm (belly button) almost zero gap (below BB)
    I definitely feel stronger and am impressed with my 50second side planks! Was hoping to close the belly button more but I'll keep at it 🤞

      @@Mamtamsc yes, but it takes 6 -9 months and still is there, mine was so bad it might take 2 years. Hang in there. And try not to do exercises that make it worse. Look it up and see what exercises are not recommended. Good luck.

      @@harpkaur4010 I just followed the chart and I still sometimes do exercises. My postpartum belly gone. And I also used the post pregnancy wrap for a month, it helped me to shrink the belly.

    The side plank is the magic if you ask me. My 4 finger gap is now reduced to a 2 finger gap. Inspired to do more.

      Today I completed the 21 day DR challenge!! 😊😊
      As I mentioned n som f my previous comments I had 3 finger gap DR. When watch this vdo 2 months bck my tummy size was 105 cm n I was really scared bot the gap n was hopless😭. I started the challenge 2 months before, bt unfortunately I stopped aftr 2 weeks. But again I started the challenge n got completed today. Reduced 3.5 "😍 n now it became 96cm. I don't think the gap got closed completely, but I got a big diff👍👍. It really works!!! 👏👏

    Believe me girls this really worked. I am a mother of two boys 10yrs and 4rs.i havent done any work out till nw. Nd jus started with 21 days challenge. i am jus surprised there is incredible change in the core. Nd my three finger gap reduced to one. Nd thats jus wow transformation. Really it helps.     I started 10 months postpartum and completed a week in this challenge and guess what, my 3 finger gap is now to 1.. I am noticing that the size of my belly is also reducing.. please Don't doubt this workout.. it actually works.. I was also the one who used to read comments but never started but once I started, I can see the results.. so believe in yourself and go ahead..     I've never heard of diastasis before. Had a baby 34 years ago. Tried everything to get rid of floppy belly. Aerobics Pilates keto diets etc. Nothing has worked
    Almost 70 now and I have now been diagnosed with prolapse. Will try this as last resort!

    Oh my god, these exercises are super good. I was having 4 fingers gap but, just after 15 days, I am feeling it’s way better. It is around 2 fingers now. But I try to keep my belly button in the day time too, while doing house chores.

    I started this 21 day challenge. I am on day 10. When I started I could fit 2 fingers in between my muscles...now I can only fit one!!! I am so happy that this is working. I am blown away by these exercises and how easy they are but very effective. Can't wait until I finish to see what my results are.

I have been doing postnatal exercise since my first delivery but I absolutely had no idea what a real vaccum meant but your explanation was very clear and i understood how to do it properly.     I've developed lower back pains for more than a year now. I saw a physical therapist who diagnosed me with diastasis recti, probable cause was my hysterectomy operation 14 years prior. I was given 1 exercise to do which didn't really take. I still have lower back pains and keep having knee and foot pains. I'm really tired of these issues which may very well be interconnected. I'm pretty conscious about my health, I make sure I eat a lot of vegetables, get enough sunshine and exercise, keep my weight normal. I don't believe aging by itself is the cause of degenerative issues (although I will be 50 in a month) so I'm willing to try anything that would help.

    I am 68 years old. In my 30’s I had 5 fertility surgeries, then at 36 I had a son. He was 12 weeks premature, so my belly didn’t get super big, he was born by c- section at 28 weeks. I am having a problem with urine leakage. I have done everything I can do, keigals,bio feedback, electronic pants just about ready to sign up for acupuncture, then I found this video, I believe I have this problem, so I’m starting my 21 days tonight👍

    I had two big babies 10 lbs 14oz. And 9 lbs. 12oz. They’re 13 and 9 now!!! Over the past 17 months I’ve lost 60 lbs focusing on healthy eating and being more active (walking at least 30 minutes daily).
    For as long as I’ve been a mother I thought my stomach was toast! I figured when I got to my goal weight I’d look into a tummy tuck… might still need one but with building these muscles I’ll save myself a lot of pain, time and money with surgery. This gives me so much hope!!! And it’s a great stepping stone into Exercising!
    I’m going to print of this challenge and come back in 21 days with my results…🤩
    My current measurements are; Two fingers above navel 35’, at Navel 38’, Fupa (lower stomach 39’ and Hips 41 1/2’
    See you August 31st, wish me luck!!

    I just want to thank you Doc, thank you and your wife. Thanks for giving to all of us the right exercises for this condition, thanks for talking the time to share this with us all. I’m 7 months postpartum and I’ve had a terrible back pain since delivery. I was looking for causes of back pain after pregnancy ever since. I saw the DT all the time but I was like nah I don’t have it, until a friend suggested to check myself for this because back pain could be a symptom. Wow I had a 3 fingers separation in my belly button area and 2 above it. I’m so happy to tell you that after a week of your challenge, I checked today and I only had a 2 finger in my belly button and 1 finger above it. I know this shouldn’t work this fast, I was surprised; but you know every body is different and my back pain is gone yeiiiiii. I will continue with my challenge of course, this is great I’m so happy thanks to you and your wife. Many blessings

      Hey Doc, hope you are doing fine. I did the challenge and I only have 1 finger separation now, I will continue working with the abs workouts in your page. My back pain improved significantly with the challenge workouts for 2 weeks and I was happy and relieved, but now it’s back and worse. It’s not in the lower part is more in the middle -upper part of my back. Doc is killing me, I have a healthy life style I exercise daily and have a balance diet. My back is really killing me, please help!

    I wish I had known about this sooner!!! I’ve been trying really hard to work on my core since about 6 weeks postpartum (I’m now almost 7 months postpartum) and haven’t seen any results. I started getting flustered, upset and confused because I wasn’t making any progress! I almost gave up because it was actually starting to hurt! Apparently I’ve been doing the wrong exercise. I knew I needed to heal, but I didn’t know how! Thank-you for sharing this! I’ve completed the first challenge this evening and am hoping by day 21, I’ll see at least a little bit of results!😃

    I've got an 18 year old, 11 yr old and bonus 3 yr old. I've always had trouble keeping weight on (except when pregnant) and couldn't figure out why I have this gut but can't put enough weight back on 3 years postpartum. (Besides my belly looking so weird!) I really JUST learned about the whole diastasis-recti thing and only came across "programs" that cost money. Nice to find someone willing to share some basic exercises without trying to rip everyone off. I can't wait to try this out. Also releaved to learn the crunches and planks I was doing were not helping for a reason other than me just being in my mid 40s!

      I did this during early morning everyday for two months. We can easily find the difference the way it's getting reduced . I can easily fit in my jean I bought it before pregnancy. We have to be consistent, believe in ourself and follow clean diet.

    Thankyou! Started the challenge today
    My son is 4 months and I wasn’t aware of this problem until I saw your video
    I was doing typical core exercises before
    My DR is 3 fingers wide . Will update my progress weekly
    Just for the starters
    Day1: it really fires up your belly, seems simple but the vacuum really fires up,the affect and intensity is similar or doing crunches, it’s just the mild way and better posture
    14th August
    So I completed a week, today is my rest day but I decided to go for it as it hardly takes 5 minutes to do.
    My core feels tight and I lost an inch.
    I will continue to do it for 2 more weeks and update about my DR next week
    15th August : so I checked my DR it’s down from 3 to 2 fingers in a week

    I'm excited to start this! If I see results I will 💯 be recommending you to my pregnancy group on Facebook! There are 10k active members of the group so it would be great to share some positivity. I was very slim before having baby and very toned. Only 55kg! My baby ended up growing rapidly towards the last four weeks and I got stretch marks and and extremely large stomach. I'm 6 months pp and although the rest of me has slimmed down, I still look about 4 months pregnant! I'll update everyone on my progress.

    I just got diagnosed with diastasis recti yesterday at my postpartum checkout. I was recommended some yoga stand, but I love working out and this will probably be more helpful and I’ll enjoy this a lot more. Plan to start next week😊 and possibly document my journey on my channel.

    Day 1: June 30 | On paper the workout seems so easy but putting it into practice was a whole other story. Those stomach vacuums really intensify the workouts especially because I have such a weak core. Required a lot of concentration from me but I’m going to be persistent. I’ll update you all on my results every 7 days.

    I’m sooo excited for this! After 5 kids and knocking on 40 I decided to get liposuction. Now that im thinner in the tummy I noticed I had diastasis recti and never knew what it was or that I had it. Luckily after doing your test it’s minor. Can’t wait to do the challenge and update after 21 days!!

    I'm 2 years + post partum from my second child, I work out regularly and eat very healthy and I can't get rid of my sagging stomach! I hope this helps! Thanks for sharing!

    I’m one of the postpartum women that was never informed about diastasis recti and had to figure it out on my own. I’m now almost a year post c-section and have a 2 finger gap. I’m excited to give this a try because having no core strength has gotten old.

    oh, I nee that in my life! Just had a baby in early September and another one 4 years ago and my belly is a flat tire big time ... Pity no one said anything about this condition during pregnancy - neither the doctor, nursery school etc. xx
