Great video - I was curious how you'd like the Jeep! Have you ever owned a Jeep before? Here's a couple of tips from someone that has owned three different Jeeps over the years (all differing models - my first was my favorite - a lifted and locked YJ.
Wait until you experience your first 'death wobble'! Those are the best and freakiest! ;)
Get used to chalking up unusual behaviors to "It's a Jeep Thing."
Now that you're into a more off-road capable vehicle (a great choice), start measuring 'miles per smiles' instead of 'miles per gallon'. WIll keep you sane in the long run! My 4Runner has a very good MPS, I suspect your Jeep does as well!
Oh - and I can't believe you slept in that back seat! I can't imagine that was comfortable at all. Hopefully you don't have to do that too many more times.
Keep the videos coming, I'm going to love following your Alaska adventure vicariously through your videos!

Thanks Jeffrey! This is my first "real" Jeep.
All good tips! I didn't want to bring a tent for the trip - I hate setting up a tent for one night and then moving on and I knew it would only be a couple nights, Hey it's a Jeep thing! I may have to do it a couple nights on my return trip. I"ll get a canopy camper of some type this. year.
Fingers crossed to get out and find some good compositions!
      John
