This is one of my all time favorite songs !
great band
My dad died a month ago tomorrow...mom passed 9 and half years ago...I grew up with this music in the house...along with many others groups...our family loves music...I picked a little river band cd out from the house last week and have been playing it...memories...but nothing will be the same now that both my parents r gone...not to mention my brother had a stroke week b4 my dad went into hospital...been almost 2 months and he's got little to no improvement...thanks for this reaction...holds memories and family dear to me...
God's peace and comfort to you my friend! Losing our parents is a stark reminder of how short life really is. May you come to know the love, joy and peace that only comes from a relationship with our Heavenly Father through the Lord Jesus Christ! ✝
Just smooth music about mating, staying mated, and sharing a lifetime of good and bad memories.
You have to dig into Little River Band!! Had this 8 track in 1978. There’s some good stuff in there!!❤❤❤❤
Listened to these guys when they first came out. Still love the “Australian Eagles”. If the Eagles and Chicago had a baby. Maybe next check out Chicago “25 Or 6 to 4”( 1970 Tanglewood) Journey, “ Don’t Stop Believin” (live in Houston 1981 ), and Billy Joel “River of Dreams”. A second song from the Little River Band would be “ Long Way There”.
You're gonna like it! Please react to a live performance w/John Farnham. Thx
It's A Long Way There is my favorite Little River Band song. Check that one out please!
That was a goodie!
John Lennon and Frank Sinatra both singled out this tune as a fav of theirs.
Haven't heard this song in years. Thanks for reminding me. Suggestion: "Open Your Eyes" by Bobby Caldwell (sampled by Common, "The Light")
The playback latency is too much for me to listen too.
This gentleman needs to upgrade his microphone...sounds murky.
