You should bring the watch to the AD and have Rolex fix the rehaut. The alignment is one of the common ways you can spot a fake. I wouldn’t just accept it. I’ve sent a watch back to Rolex for a similar QC issue and they addressed it. I had a wait a few weeks while it was sent back, but it was addressed no charge.
Nice purchase! My girlfriend has just got a candy pink OP 36mm and I've gone for the 41mm green OP - got them as wedding gifts for each other. Solid choices and hope they last a very long time.

I’m no longer buying watches after 2 years of regular buying, getting bored of (or finding ones I want more) and selling of watches from various manufacturers as I’m now focussed on getting an Oyster Perpetual 36mm blue dial. Not as a keep then sell investment but as an every other day sports watch. I love it’s elegance and simplicity. It’s an iconic design.
The AD in my area had a 126000 with blue dial incased in what appeared to be bullet proof glass recessed into the wall like it was the Mona Lisa. The salesman still got it out and insisted I try it on when I told him that was the watch I wanted. Although I did not walk out with a watch I was treated respectfully , he answered all my questions and I got to try it on. And yes I am now on the waiting list. Lol. Fingers crossed.
Beautiful watch. So you know Rolex making less of 36mm compared to 41mm. My wrist size is 7.25 inches. I own both, but for every day I personally prefer 36mm.
I am surprised that Rolex did not charge you extra for the rehaut fault. Nice enough watch but not as nice as the 1970/80s OPs (these pastel dials are hideous) and definitely not worth the high cost.

I've got the same Seamaster. I never wear it now after getting my 36mm Explorer. It wears comically big.

Just a suggestion why don't you turn the watch around so the viewer can see it instead of the boring clasp!

Not at all. In fact I had to remove a link in order for the watch to fit me.
