I’ve used an AFS 18 for 3 years, and finally bought a snack box micro just this month, and I can’t express enough just how fucking nice it is to have something small and portable to bring to tourneys. I love the look and feel of the AFS, but it is so big that it doesn’t fit in most backpacks and it weighs like a tank.
I have a Qanba Q8RAF and to fit the Knee Neo Lever in it, I had to removed the collar and replace it with a crown 307FJ collar which I also had to enlarge the collar hole enough so the lever would have enough clearance to ride the gate instead of the collar. Then I also had to remove 1 of the weight plates inside of the stick to make it fit including removing the access hole on the bottom of the case. Yeah it was pain. Qanba makes some amazing sticks but I really wish they would design them with korean levers in mind or just a bit more clearance. I had no issues at all with the Knee Neo Premium on the Dragon and I even got a shuriken to work with the collar and still no clearance issues.
My stick is heavily customized on performance parts. Sanwa JLF on Custom delrin capsule top, custom shorter steel shaft, custom alu actuator, semi circle gate. All Custom measurements. With pi pico board and ps passthrough on hori mini 4. Detachable usb cable. And all inside a cheap gamesir C2 casing. A sleeper build. All console buttons working.
Thanks for the suggestion, I just placed an order for one as I forgot I had tons of amazon points from my card to use. I'm super casual to fighting games (back in my younger/teen days I used to play fighting games at local arcade tournaments, and really got into the original tekken & tekken 2). I pick up all these fighting games and they just didn't feel "right" without a stick.
I just bought this lol. As a backup for my Drone 1, since my Sanwa seems to disconnect from time to time even with hot glue. Been hearing lots of good things about the large distance between the stick and buttons.
As someone who’s been using the Obs2 I can say this. Putting my Fujin v3 on it was no issue at all, but yes I had to take the bottom cap off. The only lever that doesn’t require you to take off the bottom cap is the Samducksa Nhp (Crown309mj) from IstMall or focusattack. It’s a very big, heavy and sturdy stick and I love how premium it feels. The cable management absolutely sucks. Customizing is so fun to do on it though. For anyone that usually just stays home, it’s a really good stick. But for the price being +$300, it doesn’t feel worth it for everything mostly feeling like plastic. Maybe I’m being biased from using a victrix, but that’s just my personal opinion. If you can find it for $200-$250, I’d say is worth it.
Actually for the fujin, you need the bandit mod, but the bottom cap doesn’t have to come off if you don’t push down on your lever, but it’s safer to remove the cap I’d say.
Kinda unrelated, but for those who have switched from JLever to a KLever - does anyone else find that the Korean lever shorter than JLFs somehow? Using the Knee Lever Neo (pill shaped) in a Hori Rap 4 Kai, I feel like my index and thumb are above the battop whereas with the JLF it didn't feel like those fingers cleared the top of the stick so easily. Could be a change in grip I guess, the battop has required quite a bit of adjustment so far, curious how others have adapted. (also, why the heck do they include a shaft cover *and* dust cover if the shaft goes so deep into the stick that you can't use the dust cover without removing the shaft cover? Is that just the housing I'm using?)
It’d be more complicated to print, but have you thought of printing a replacement bottom panel that dips 2mm so you can fit the weight plate inside it? Could also possibly try just gluing some small weights inside the original panel, just don’t stick them near the lever
how do i enable the touchpad on PC? it was mentioned at 7:16 edit: got the touchpad to work by enabling steam big picture mode and setting the titan to ps5 mode, instead of PC mode. there was no audio, since the computer began to use the titan as an audio device. i disabled the audio device coming from there.
