I had an Accord 2.4 for sale myself which I bought from auction but it was the Type-S so rarer and worth more, even with 150K, it sold to the first buyer and got a lot of interest as well. They have a loyal following and people will pay due to their brilliant honda reliability, owned a 2.0 one myself and they are great cars.
I was starting to feel sorry for you Lee after your last video where you stated sales were very poor. Then I see you sitting in a nice Maserati and that sympathy somehow evaporated 😂😝😜
My fiesta EcoBoost 14 plate with 22k had a oil light come on i absolutely creamed myself but it turned out to be a minor electrical fault that my local garage fixed for £100
Yes they will soon be well talked about the accords. I ran a older type R accord some years ago which i sold for about £750, stick another 0 on that now 🤣
@@carukchannel having owned two of those myself, did you know they suffer from the bulkhead rot? If not, be glad you got rid when you did, they rust badly and rare for a reason, not worth what they are going for now either.
Last time I bought a ford was in 1989, ford escort 1.4.L. It was an ok car, but it developed a leak in the boot, filling the spare wheel well. Which I thought for 3 year old car was ridiculous. That bmw 216D I’ve driven one of these and they are surprisingly nice to drive.
44k is very low milage on that Focus! If you're doing the belts yourself you can easily do the job for £250. I'd buy an Ecoboost with a oil light on if it sounds fine. It's the weather seals that piss me off the most about Fords! You're forever seeing them hanging off! They fixed the issue with the mk4 Focus as they FINALLY moved away from gluing them on to a slot that they slide into!
@16.41 The VW California SE TDI....why are they so expensive i'll never know. Those campervans are just insane money even for older one's. Great video as usual Lee & thanks for your effort you put in these videos.
Lee I would love to hear your views in a video regarding pros and cons of buying a older/lower mileage Vs newer/higher mileage used car as a bit of a buyers guide 🙏
Lee, just a thought (as if I was there, I would be buying everything lol) can you tell us why you don’t bid or buy certain cars. There was a few there that to me was right up your alley. Loving the channel by the way. Starting to forgive you for scraping the yellow fiat.
Some models I just don't trust when it comes to reliability, I have worked on many running a garage over the years so see the same issues which makes me wary in dealing in them.
I'm nto a fan of diesels as a rule but at the price and miles I could have been tempted by the Seat Toledo as a private purchase. I too guessed dual mass when I heard it and factored that in, so as long as the 1.6 didn't throw up its issues then it could have been a worthwhile buy.
I had a 1.5 / 1.6 eco boost focus it blew up I argued the toss with the dealer to no avail ended up trading it in 2019 after half sorting it so it ran 2011 car Garage paid me auction price 2850 i was glad of that tbh. It’s not just the 1.0 id swerve an ecoboost probably any turbo petrol 3 cylinder. Swapped it for a 3.5 year old 220d merc with 27k on the clock I think I paid net 13k best car deal I’ve ever made.
I’ve had 5 fords with ecoboost engines and not one of them have let me down🤷♂️ in my family we have 3 at the moment and I’ve serviced them as required using the correct oil etc and all of them have been fine never had a problem other than one (fiesta) needed it’s air conditioning re-gassing!
I was surprised by how small the engine in that Focus was. My 2001 Focus has a 1.6 Zetec that still performs well; I can't image how a 1.0 litre engine could be anything other than severely overstretched.
pick up truck prices were fantastic, forget all of the convert a panel van into a camper, I intend to get a pick up and stick a rear bed camper pod on it,

Hey up Lee , ive appeared on ur video lol. That Audi A1 tfsi black un. I havnt uploaded for nearly 4 weeks now , just aint got time with this car trading 😂
I used to love fords, I've got a 57plate transit and a 59plate fiesta zetec. I need a bigger van so bought a 3year old movano because I am terrified of the potential repair costs on a modern transits. The first time in thirty years I have avoided a ford commercial vehicle.
If garages would commit to actually serving correct and replacing the wet belts they are a good vehicle. Also they are 3 times the amount of fords on the road in the uk so naturally you are going to here of a few more repairs I look a fleet of 26 transits some with more than 200000 miles on original engine clutch gearbox. It is when the steps start falling off it is time to go 👍
@@IanMcPolandI think these days forget anything built after 2020 foolishly I bought a Vauxhall cross land thinking it had a Vauxhall gm opel eco tec engine but no it’s got a psa pure tech engine with the wet belt I didn’t have a clue till I had bought it then found out about these pathetic wet belts checked it full of cracks had it changed the dealership charged me so I complained to Vauxhall and it looks almost certain they are going to refund me as they have asked for my bank details today wish I had kept my 69 plate Astra .
Just a random thought... Do you have a website- and if so, why haven't you put a link somewhere here on this channel ?? Same deal for the location of your business... no address listed here ?? Why ?
That super low milage Honda Accord Auto with the 2.4 Engine would be a future Class and would have maybe that ,"K" series engine in same if so that would be Bullet Proof... someone might just want to treasure same get the paintwork sorted and use same as a really nice daily driver, yet be able DRIVE it to Classic motor shows , rather than same being some sort of a, Trailer Queen ...
Whoever bought the Seat on line must either think they got a right bargain or surely why is No1 bidding on it. Lee don't you ever fancy buying the odd van..In the late 90s well into the 2000s I went through a stage of always having 1 as a 2nd car..I had 2 Mk5 Escorts bought them both from BCA Brighouse when anyone could buy from BCA . Both 1 owners & the best possible 1st was an L reg Grey 1.8D Ex RAC Escort got a set of Mk4 RS Turbo alloys after 3 or 4 years bought a 3 years old X reg Red 48,000 miles ex Royal mail Escort 1.8TD . The 1st in certain lights you could sometimes make out the livery but not the ex Royal mail. Both had full service history done by the RAC & Royal mail. Over the years took them both to Manchester & Leeds Bradford Airport with my daughter getting out of the back doors with the suitcases as we parked up at the multistorey at Wythenshaw , Carminder & Castle hill farm or at Terminals.
Older vans were great and I also use to deal in them but over the last 8 years they have become a pain and seem more abused than ever. I just keep away from them although if I was offered one at the right money i would buy
1.0 seems very decent, few turbo wastegate issue but nothing to worry about. 1.2 early ones suffered with timing chain issues, rattles etc but later examples seem better as they moved it to a belt. I would be more worried about high miles Auto DSG boxes in VW products over the engines to be fair

Even the Ford guys call them 'ecoboom!!'
It is the auction houses keeping prices high, solution keep your current car longer, more cars coming off lease will drive down prices
