Just thinking & you mentioned it Lee regarding the VW up , with the car besn provisional you if possible should have gone to enquires etc & said if owner or dealer garage won't accept the bid would they if i offered £200 above what they did. Basically same as gazumping. You also i thought should have bid on the 14 plate Kia Sportage which miles weren't too high & only £1900.& the 13 plate Renault Clio at £1700 . Obviously i know you have both isn't the kia already sold though. The Sasb 93 sportwagon couldn't see the front but an 07 possibly a facelift, if it is it looked just like my 09 sportwagon Vector CTDI even same colour & wheels. Bet that had been traded in as the cost of the 2.0T engine is outrageous its £700 or so.

Hopefully no worries for you, don't forget you'll just hear horror stories online. There are plenty of ppl who obliviously buy with no problem but the issue is well documented and once you know..... You know.... Hindsight eh.

I’ve driven hundreds of different cars, and the 3 MG’s I’ve driven are the top three worst cars I’ve ever driven, so that’s saying something - and I’ve driven fiat 500’s & plenty of very poor Peugeots in my time which are also horrendous. The Saab and the Seat would be good buys

As a car dealer why you complaining that the prices are low at the auction, means your make more profit when you sell.
What is funny when you look at private sellers, try to sell vehicles without an mot or an mot with a month left wanting top money for it. Only 5 years ago a vehicle with out an mot was and still is worth next to nothing. An vehicles with a month left on the mot was just a little better.
The only thing your doing is basically telling people that are after a new second hand vehicle is goto a car auction and your get a great deal. As the prices are low. When in reality it’s taken the last 5 years for the prices at auctions to come down to the prices they are meant to be. Auction prices have always been about supply and demand. Ie the higher the demand the more you will pay.
But the auction have also been take over by these multinationals companies that have tried to corner the markets and over price the vehicles. An vehicle traders have let them do it by going to these multinationals company run auctions.
Instead of sticking to the smaller auctions which have now gone out of business in the most because traders stopped going to them, by buy from the over priced multinationals company auctions.
Second hand Vehicle prices will keep dropping over the next two years.

I have a question about the top don car starter, I store a car in a garage over the winter that has no electric, would I be ok connecting this to the car and leaving it, therefore saving the battery from dying and needing replaced.
