That is impressive... seems that auction houses have improved their game in the UK... not so much in Canada or specifically BC. It's the wild west out here, with dodgy vehicles being the norm.
Been going to Manheim since 1975, I stopped going as buying commission through the roof even with an account. Used to buy 5-8 a week every week. I told them but they didn't seem to care.
Can you discuss the BCA | We Buy Any Car | Cinch Kabal if you dare. Same company directors at Company House for all 3 Ltd Companies ? Discuss ? Or won't touch the topic with a barge pole ?
@@Toby_the_Glen well they would but reality is they buy cars from people who want to sell them quick and they'll offer for a e.g. £1500 car like 700 quid so they auction it for 1100 let's say which then the traders buy and sell same car for 1700 hence cars are gone up in price I know it business but its making it worse for normal people to buy cars, I usally try to buy from a good place if its a dealer as most of them overpriced their cars or get from a private seller but making sure it's a good one, if people stop giving their cars to these companies such as 'we buy any car' or any other, cars wouldn't been high in price and also buy and sell like that.
@@hassankhan384 doesn’t help when traders tell lies and rip each other off for a few hundred quid. Whole system stinks better off getting something on finance
@@user-te1le7ck6b yeh thats the problem now and so many people got cars on fianance but I hate fianance cars they are as bad as traders, because I prefer to own my car then borrow and pay monthly for it as I don't often change cars so fianance isn't for me but I usally get good deals on car as I know good car traders and sellers, as not all are same end of the day.
Most are dealer or public, it will tell you how much mot is left on the car windscreen info sheet & brochure with most auctions, the procedure is if you win it you either pay the invoice online then collect when it's ready or at the desk then collect when its ready will take maximum a few days to be ready but I have known smaller auction house that were pay and take within the hour but that was a long time ago now
Manhiem autions are very good compared to BCA British Car Autions who haven't opened open after Covid-19 lockdown, I wouldn't recommended anyone buy from BCA too many false reports and bad cars from my expeirence.
I love the wheeler dealer show and everything about it.i think Mike and anth should be on bbc's top gear.. ps who do you think was the best mechanic edd or anth??
Both are good in their own right. For me though, I prefer Ant as he is more engaging and really looked passionate when working on the cars. Loved how he explained everything. Plus, he is more diverse in his craft.
I don't think that the differences in the way the show was made, make it fair to choose between the three mechanics that have featured. All are or were good in their own way, people just have their favourite. Mine is Edd, but that is mainly due to being a fan from the start.
How about making some noise about this ULEZ EXPANSION. It will effect all privately owned vehicles. If this goes ahead, be ready for when the authorities decide your house isn't compliant.
Shame BCA have strong armed folk to stop in person viewings, sadly auctions ain’t what they was given the now disgraceful tactics used by dealers , sellers and auction houses with online only your risk is even worse.
That is part of the accepted risk. You are gambling the possibility of a mechanical fault against the possibility of getting a bargain. I recently bought a car that was at least £2000 cheaper than it should have been, although not at an auction, because it had a fault that might have cost more than the seller was able to pay. In the end it just needed a £15 part and it is now in perfect health. However, it could have easily been a much bigger problem, but fortunately my gamble paid off and I now have a car worth considerably more than I paid.

I know this has nothing to do with the program but I just had a good laugh at the bbc advert about truth 😂
7k for a r33, my jaw literally dropped
With auction prices going up you’d be hard pressed to get a i20 for less than £2k at an auction house now

Where do you buy 5-8 cars a week from now?
Excellent .....paying a trader too look for a RR Autobiography Aintree Green Cream or Tan Leather Ulez ....really enjoyed that video 👍
How to buy a from G3 as for own not as a solo traders?

It's business? You don't have to buy from them, they'll manage quite well without you?

and how do the auctions get all those cars at extra prices?
Any website to buy online auction car?
Is it a dealers auction only? And do these cars have any MOT left or what is the procedure after buying. Kindly tell thanks.

This is only trade only, private buyers not allowed in...
Mike brewer is the greatest person ever at buying and selling cars. Ask Edd China he knows him well...
Well not really. The idea is to buy low and sell at a profit.. Brewer does it the other way round..The only person that made the money was Edd China.
