You are a very brave woman to have a go at fixing your roof. You are trying to replace the hip rafts which runs from the ridge to the wall plate. Find a book on carpentry will help you. The wall plate must be fixed first otherwise you will have nothing to fix the hip raft at bottom. It looks to me if you have to replace a common rafter as well. Before you can make it waterproof. Hi Vita. I agree about the importance of coffee and the need for milk. Maybe you need a cow (😂😂) for milk and to eat the weeds. Sorry!! We once planted all new plants in our yard and added blood and bone fertiliser to aid growth. Our dog at the time dug all of our new plants up to eat the fertiliser - the things we learn, even though the learning process can be frustrating. Hi Vita .. I found myself worrying about you since the Russian missile attacks after August 24. I pray for your safety!!! I begin by admiring your red/white/blue outfit since I like the colors and looks good on you. Your channel is my FAVORITE you tube channel (of all of them). Your spirit and insights are a gift to me and I am sorry for all the tough things that are happening to Ukrainians. Putin is a butcher (a real mean guy). He deserves the meanness back from the voodoo doll. I saw how noisy the generators were in Kyiv. I do like camping and you do quite a bit of it in the village (cooking outside .. etc). One other way to have milk for coffee is to have dry (powdered) milk. I use that a lot since it doesn't need cooling. Your way of using the ice from the freezer is quite clever .. hah! Your cooking looked yummy. The stuff from your garden grows even with the weeds. I am praying for your country (and you and your children too). .. ROBERT
You are very practical and resourceful in this terrible situation. I would like to see you start the fire with very dry clean fire wood and just cook the food with the hot ashes. No more blackened food from the smoke . Might have to lower the bricks also to get the right heat . You are very pleasant person and hope you stay safe and sound.
You need a beam to pocket back into the framing where the original one was and get it from a local sawmill get timber screws and screws it back in cut a block to keep it in place some 1/6 boards for skip sheathing and you can put the rooking screws to screw through the metal and into the 1/6 skip sheething DIY it vita mine we’re all proud of you let’s build something together a little roof repair can’t be that hard never give up

Hi Vita .. I found myself worrying about you since the Russian missile attacks after August 24. I pray for your safety!!! I begin by admiring your red/white/blue outfit since I like the colors and looks good on you. Your channel is my FAVORITE you tube channel (of all of them). Your spirit and insights are a gift to me and I am sorry for all the tough things that are happening to Ukrainians. Putin is a butcher (a real mean guy). He deserves the meanness back from the voodoo doll. I saw how noisy the generators were in Kyiv. I do like camping and you do quite a bit of it in the village (cooking outside .. etc). One other way to have milk for coffee is to have dry (powdered) milk. I use that a lot since it doesn't need cooling. Your way of using the ice from the freezer is quite clever .. hah! Your cooking looked yummy. The stuff from your garden grows even with the weeds. I am praying for your country (and you and your children too). .. ROBERT
You are very practical and resourceful in this terrible situation. I would like to see you start the fire with very dry clean fire wood and just cook the food with the hot ashes. No more blackened food from the smoke . Might have to lower the bricks also to get the right heat . You are very pleasant person and hope you stay safe and sound.

You need a beam to pocket back into the framing where the original one was and get it from a local sawmill get timber screws and screws it back in cut a block to keep it in place some 1/6 boards for skip sheathing and you can put the rooking screws to screw through the metal and into the 1/6 skip sheething DIY it vita mine we’re all proud of you let’s build something together a little roof repair can’t be that hard never give up
