I often notice in Kyiv beautiful British speech, French, German, even Scandinavian, many people from Asia and Africa. Come to us more often, we are the country with the most working, effective air defense in the world, because other countries have armies created for parades.

@@Gen_X It is not clear what kind of situation we are talking about. Racism certainly exists in Ukraine, as in any country in the world. If we compare the level of racism with other countries in the world, then in Ukraine it is much lower than in Russia, perhaps somewhere on a par with Poland.
Kiyv is so beautiful. I'm impressed by the number of well-built buildings. If one of the poorest countries in europe is like this, the wealthiest must be mind-blowing. European architecture is on another level, and it sets itself apart from any other country in the world
thank you Dany for showing Kyiv and with such positive attitude 🧡 just a tip: there is public transportation to the monument you showed in the end of the video - a bus - but I recommend just walking there from the Arsenalna metro station because it's a nice walk passing through modernism buildings, big parks, view points overlooking the river and the left bank of the city, tones of museums, and 1000 years old Lavra church (some of them you showed in the video btw). when the weather is nice (not hot and not windy) and if you are wearing appropriate shoes you can climb the shield of the Mortherland statue (which is btw even a bit taller than the statue of liberty).
Since 2017 I was every year in Kyiv till war happens, dating scene back then was amazing😁 I think after war to buy a nice apartment in Kyiv, it’s a good idea❤
I find the Ukrainian people amazing and inspiring! At 66 years of age, I thought my life was hard, facing health issues that has cause a loss of many things I love to do, but THEN, I saw the Ukrainian people, facing hardships, misery and devestation and I realized my problems were petty compared to theirs and if they could face what they face daily, with smiles on their faces and bravery, then so could I! I owe you folks alot for opening my eyes to what hardship and tenacity really is. Slava Ukraine!

In regard of Щедрик song, the original is a folk tune, very simple to the point of being primitive short melody of 3 notes, But ... the version by composer you have mentioned made this tune famous worldwide, and became source of inspiration for countless arrangements for Christmas time music. Just came back home from Ukraine. Amazing country! How the hell were you allowed to use a drone? Btw air attacks on Kyiv are now quite intense, at night it was not that safe as it looks during a day.

@@Michael-wz9te Until recently, after you accepted the German citizenship, you had to give up any other citizenships. That's why he's probably not a Ukrainian citizen anymore.
Thought the general consensus was legally UA does not accept dual citizenship, a male is simply Ukrainian if they currently hold a UA passport. BUT in practice they do accept it and especially for public marketing and or promotion, It’s like anywhere globally, where the money flows the law goes.

Well in this case - no. St Michael's Cathedral was intentionally destroyed by the Soviets. What you see now is a reconstruction, which is decent on the outside but probably super inaccurate on the inside as there wasn't much info to base the reconstrucion on.
