Yeah I think the Dreamcast is severely underrated. I saw Mr. Driller at my local store for $25. I have it on the PS1, but I might have to grab the dreamcast version
I can remember in 1999 seeing the Dreamcast for the first time and watching somebody play an NFL game on it. I thought in that moment "we will never see graphics better than this!"😂
I used to say that back in the day. Especially when the PS2 came out.
The Dreamcast is pure arcade fun in the home. I recommend getting an arcade stick for it.
I know this is going to sound weird. One of the things that I really enjoy about your videos is when you talk about your past with things. It's rare to hear anymore and it's kind of sad because those types of stories make you listen more. Also makes me wonder what type of crazy stories you have from your time serving.
Thanks man. Gaming for me is very nostalgic, when I hold a game in my hand I just get flooded with memories.
PS1 is a freaking great console but there is no way I could accurately make a top 5 list of games, there are so many great games on it, I would find it impossible.
LOL, you are right there are tons of great games on the PS1. I found that most of my favorite games were based on nostalgia.
My favorite PS1 one games are Mr. Domino, Poy Poy, Metal Gear Solid, Street Fighter Ex², Resident Evil 3, Parappa the Rapper, Tekken 3, Saga Frontier, Final Fantasy 7, and Parasite Eve 1&2. I couldn't reduce my selection to 5 games because that system had some good games.
Dreamcast games I can recommend are Jet Set Radio, Silver, Omikron, Record of Lodoss War, and Resident Evil Code Veronica. Lodoss War plays similarly to Diablo, but better in my opinion.
I have Mr. Domino, it looks fun, but I've never played it.
@CMRetroGaming It's just a repetition game. Lay down dominos and link them to the next trigger. Takes a lot of patience, but it's fun (at least to me).
Brave Fencer Musashi was great and not just because it came with a demo of FFVIII
Try revolt for dreamcast. All the sports games are good on it too

I rarely play Jumping Flash! 1. JF!2 is pretty much more of the same but more vivid and less sparse. The levels have more going on in them. 2:24 While the two JF! did not support analog, it would have helped immensely. It is awkward to move and shoot, which you can do while falling. You should be able to do it any time in an FPS game. It's one of the features that would improve a modern day sequel. There are two Japanese exclusive JF! games, though I can't remember whether they were made after analog.
