What have you been picking up.
Cool games
Thanks man
Thanks for that tip on the patches! I didn’t know they shipped cheap. Gotta be on the lookout for that Spice World. 👀
yeah man, eBay standard envelope. There is a minimum and maximum size for the envelope, and a few restrictions like the envelope can't have a fastener...has to be peel and stick. And it has to weigh under 3ozs. A standard 3 in patch like the one I showed in the video is about a half an ounce.
Hi Chris Miller You Should Try To Play A Physical Version Of Disney Dreamvalley For Ps4 And Ps5 In The Future
🚨🚨Dirty reseller alert!!!🚨🚨
I’m telling Cameron.
LOL
Awesome job
Thanks man
Good Pickups - it’s OK to ReSell that’s how I build up my video game collection and toy collectibles….. 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Anyone who complains about this is jealous. It is really hard to find this stuff. People don't understand the hours put into this when they see a short video by people who run a channel about finding stuff. They are disappointed that they want stuff but are unwilling to put in the effort.
@@WhatsOnMyShelf - it’s Good Chris - I wish I had more time to go hunting for games and toys it’s a Graat Hobby finding stuff that you had or wanted as a kid - I don’t have $1000 of dollars to spend so Picking up items to ReSell or or Trade to Fund the Collection is the way to do it - keep up the Good Work Chris 👍🏼👍🏼
@@mrquito71 It's definitely a time vs money thing. It's also finding a spot with enough people that bought or participated in games and the nerdy hobbies. You probably won't find a lot of old games living in farm country because there are many people living there. I think I live in a great area for finds, though, it has reduced a lot over the course of 10 years. Also, it is ridiculously expensive here. I wish I had the ability to travel miles and miles to go look for this stuff. My range is like 5-10 sq miles.
Very nice pickups Chris!
Nice job 👏
Thanks homie
I love the xbox 360 I've scored some valuable games im glad we all got in video game collecting early because im not finding any great deals so many resellers no pun lol
There are a lot of resellers..lol.
What are you talking about? It is still early, if you are collecting later gens. The issue is interest. The window is shifting. I thought about the PS2 earlier this week and I agree with CM that the PS2 is still very much low-priced overall. It's probably because the numbers are ubiquitous now, but as stock dwindles due to being bought, lost, or damaged, even low-tier common games are going to rise.
The PS1 surprisingly took its time to rise. I say surprisingly because the other systems of the era skyrocketed first. I do not think the PS1 has reached its full potential. I base this on other collectible markets / gens.
What I think is crazy is how cheap the PS4 / XBONE gens are. I've seen physical prices drop way faster than previous gens. There is a lot of limited run stuff that is holding their value now, but I wonder. A lot of limited run stuff for sale on ebay is sealed. This behavior is way different than gamers of previous gens.
I left a reply to another person's comment to your vid, regarding the untapped PS2. You can read it more in full there, but I agree. I would also say that the Wii is very much a cheaper system. Let's not pretend that Nintendo doesn't rule the roost when it comes to retro interest. The Switch will demand higher prices than PS4 / PS5 / XBone ports and just like the GC commanding higher price than PS2 ports, the Wii will have its day. Do not ignore the obscure but great titles on the system that take advantage of its features. My top pick is Wicked Monsters Blast. I think the horror games and Xseed RPGs will also do well, even those which are not exclusives.
I have to say, I don't know how you all do this as a part time gig.
Just trying to sell the stuff I already owe is such a PITA.
I couldn't deal with the extra hassle of sourcing and cleaning.
It's brutal sometimes..lol.
Here was my Friday.
Up at 7am
8am-1pm - Garage sales Thrift Stores
1p-3p - Cleaning and sorting items
3p4p - Get it in a video
4p-5p - Testing and photographing items.
5p-6p - Dinner
6p-8p - Listing items, putting items away and clean up.
8p-10p - video editing.
Taking pictures is part.of the hassle. I don't have proper lighting but it really the lack of shipping boxes that is my biggest problem.
@@dude4392 Do you think most sellers "test" items? I can't fathom those listing up to 50 items per day every day of the month test their stuff unless they show it working. I noticed a lot of the bigger account have a return policy. Their prices are usually 40-60% higher than normies. My guess is this is like insurance for those which don't work out and the higher volume of listing allows them to make more money in the end, despite negative feedback. I couldn't do that to my fellow man.
I like your pick ups
Thank you
Being a "dirty reseller" is offering someone dirt for something you know is insanely valuable. Nobody would call you a dirty reseller, you're like me. We find stuff that people and stores have set prices on. If someone has something thats really valuable, i will offer a good price where I don't feel im ripping them off but im still gonna make a few bucks on
don't fight it..we are dirty resellers. I'm going to embrace it lol
6:57 I don't understand the ebay envelope. Do items shipped with the option fit in a letter mail envelope, which means they can't be thicker than 1/4 inch and be flexible / can't be reinforced with cardboard? I remember reading a little about it being something card sellers would use, however, as we understand, condition matters and letter mail flexes as it goes through machinery. I understand the cost benefit to both seller and buyer.
Not at all. Standard envelope is only for certain items like Patches, stamps, trading cards, post cards, and currency.
The envelope has to be certain dimensions, it has to be self adhesive. It can't weigh more than 3oz.
The benefit is that you get tracking and up to $20 insurance, while the buyer enjoys cheaper shipping. 1oz = .64cents, 2oz = .88cents and 3oz = $1.11
This all came about when some of the major sports/trading card sellers complained to eBay. They basically said that without tracking on their low end cards (They were shipping envelope & stamp) they were losing up to $20K a year each on "item not delivered" claims. They also made the argument that if ebay were to provide tracking on these items that eBay would increase sales. eBay loves money and decided to roll out the standard envelope program. This past year they included patches as an allowable shippable item within the program.
Like I sad without this program if I wanted to sell a $2.99 patch, it would cost the buyer $4.13 for shipping. No one wants to pay. With standard envelope the shipping is only .64 cents. I'm more likely to sell that item because the shipping is cheaper.
@@CMRetroGaming How does a patch not tear the envelope as it goes through machinery? I remember this being started by card sellers, but even that is confusing. Don't card buyers care about condition? Wouldn't cards get bent? I considered using ebay standard envelope for low tier Game Boy manuals, but I'm too afraid that a buyer would complain about how I didn't protect the manual, even if it arrived in the same condition it was sent. It's aggravating how the international mail system subsidizes China to send bulky mail for less than $1 around the world, but I can't send a 1-2oz manual to Maine for anything less than $4.13. This is why people end up throwing away things that people want.
I half life's good game but I playied it on Xbox.
I don't think I've seen it on the XBOX.
@@CMRetroGaming I think I still have it cause I play a little bit of it. I've never finished it.
your games your prices
For sure
I haven't been getting notices ab about your videos for some reason, so getting caught up. I don't see you as a dirty reseller.
