It's been a productive few weeks. I found some games at thrift store and I got ta visit from an old friend.
The trade show is right around the corner. August 24th at 8pm.

8:10 Seriously, Boba Fett mech!? Is LEGO the new action figure? I was at the flea market today and was so disappointed by new toys. I saw a Jet Jaguar figure of Godzila movie fame produced in the last year, still new in package. The dang figure was squishy as in the figure was not a solid piece of plastic but an empty shell. These LEGO figures have something interesting going on, but I suspect these are not cheap toys.

LOL. It's LEGO's new approach to price gouging. The micro fighters were $1 an Battle Packs were $15. Then they raised Battle packs to $20 and now they are $25 So LEGO wanted a set that was going to be in that $30-$35 range. Because OF COURSE they raised the price of the $35-$40 sets like (Tie Fighter and Luke's X-wing) Those size sets went up in price.
They gotta pay Disney that licensing fee.

​@@CMRetroGaming Dang, those prices sucks. I find it sad that toy makers keep reducing size and materials on these figures. Heck, the blind boxes are so prevalent now too. There were a few of those I remember, but the companies these days are making bank. The packaging is cheaper too since they don't have to do any window, mounting of figures, and cardboard backing. Throw it in a bag and your done.
