I wish there was cool places like this in my area!
just move to arkansas
Me to
I use to to have that Transformers dinner tray when I was a kid. It hit me in the feel goods when I saw it in the video.
If you want the full effect, you gotta eat a Microwaved Salisbury Steak off that thing!
i feel like this is from experience 😂
"Tab" is referenced in back to the future, when he's in the 50s diner and orders a tab. The clerk says "i can't give you a tab unless you order something".
I used to have all of the Great Muppet Caper glasses when I was a kid. I slowly broke them all. Lol
Hey, was wondering if you could maybe do a quick tutorial on how you package and ship you games for the ten dollar game collection. Not exactly sure how long it takes to list something or ship somethig
List 6 minutes TOPS
SHIP: SAME!
It's very easy :)
DVD size tough padded bubble mailers. I buy them at 250 at a time for like $45 from shipping-depot website. List it. Buy shipping from eBay. It will save you money over going to post office. Get a label printer like a dymo 4xl. Or the like. Save you a ton on ink.
I started by buying 6x9 bubble mailers from Walmart but then I found them a lot cheaper at Amazon. You can also buy the postage from eBay as a QR code now and the post office will scan it and print out your label for you. When listing on eBay, you can just use the app and scan the barcode of the game, sort sold listings, and use their information for the details. All you have to do is change price and postage and take pictures of the item, if you want. Takes a couple of minutes.
I’m so jealous I tried doing this for a good month now after watching your videos. My goodwills games are $5 and none have been worth it. And my other goodwill sells just video game related items that are priced higher then EBay prices. I’m happy to enjoy your videos and I will keep trying but I wanted to say thank you for sparking a little joy in this dark world
your son marches around these flea markets like a little boss on a mission 🤣
I love collecting the glasses too. I found some old star wars ones at a thrift for less than a dollar each because they were on closeout. My wife would have gone nuts on those vintage my little ponies. She collects those and old girls toys are very difficult to find these days.
Great pick-ups!
Loved seeing the tray!! We always had a tray growing up and I totally forgot about it.. thanks for reminding me.. memory lane rocks!!
Thank you for showing some of the girl toys and the strawberry shortcake thermos was so cute my favorite thing you got was the transformers TV tray that is awesome that was my brothers favorite growing up!!
Wow! Awesome I too found the same transformers tray at a yard sale for $2! I love it!!!💚
That Miss Piggy glass brought back some serious memories - very cool pickup there!
Omg! Pariah! That was one of the first games I had for Xbox! My uncle was the sound effects designer for that game so he gifted me a copy. My opinion may be a little bit biased but I think it’s a great game :)
Love your videos, they inspired me to start flipping games myself! I thought I'd give you a heads up, Berserk and the Band of the Hawk for PS4 is going for like $80 on eBay and only goes for $25 at Gamestop if you can find it.
Good news, Rick. Not only the 20th was my birthday, but I'm getting MORE video games:
Clive Barker's Jericho
Naughty Bear
Spongebob: Lights, Camera, Pants!
Gun
Namco 50th Anniversary
Great video as always. Thanks. You are always helping me relive my past.. Love it.
When you were looking at the clamshell VHS tapes, and pointed out the Small Soldiers one, which I have, I saw one VHS tape that I've been looking for and have asked a friend of mine to look out for when she and her husband are out thrifting since I can't go out due to my health issues. That was the Walt Disney Classics VHS release of The Jungle Book, the first movie I ever saw in theatres during it's 1990 theatrical re-release. So if I lived in your hometown and was able to go to that flea market, I'd have picked up that VHS tape because it's one of the ones I need for my VHS collection. Very cool dude.
I got Gleaming the Cube on VHS and super pumped when I saw it at a local goodwill.
When I saw Captain Picard on the back of that game, I knew right away it was 90's. BTW, I found the Star Wars version of that game at a GW recently. Wasnt worth much resell wise. But it had everything. BTW, I also picked up that large Coca Cola pitcher and that Ms. Piggy Muppet Caper drinking glass at a GW. Bringing back some memories.
That TV tray is amazing. I also had/have a Fluppy dog. Love watching your flea market videos.
Love that Transformers TV tray!! Some great finds there!
Just found your channel 2 weeks ago but I LOVE it!
Loved the Garfield glass comments man. I see those all the time too! And I still have the whole set (duplicates in a few cases) which is pretty cool. I would recommend picking them up if you see them for $4 or less. They are worth it!
I live in Oregon and have been skateboarding for over 20 years. I love Gleaming The Cube, it took me o few years to find it on DVD.
you make my day twice a week, great videos. only wish I was able to go to some second hand stores. lockdown here in the Netherlands.
I had a collection of super-sized cups from my childhood. I had them in the bottom cabinet in the kitchen. And one day I go in there. They all gone!!! My wife and her sister didn't like them in the cabinet, so they throwed them all out.
noooooooo...i hate that story!
G’day from Melbourne, Australia! 🇦🇺 Love your work mate! Enjoy all your videos, keep it up! 🕹📀📺💰
I always love going to Hardy/Mammoth Springs such a good place!
Always much love for Tony hawk games and gleaming the cube
Dad with the savage comment "Back when you smoked, and hung out at McDonald's?". Had me rolling!
Savage!!! I almost spit my beer out from laughing
Another awesome video. Always enjoy watching.
TV dinner trays are rad! I would love to have a thundercats tray!
Found my first real come up retro. An Xbox 360 with lk 40 games. I cleaned out and refurbished the console it was filled with dust and dead roaches. Lol gross. But I think I can sell half the games and have a system and a few great games. Thanks for putting me on this mission. Love what you doing bro.
I loved the 80s plush toy stuff! I wish I knew the name of this market lol, I save them for future reference ;-P
My girlfriend and I drink wine from those 4 Garfield cups all the time! They are my favorites for the pure nostalgic joy.
hahaha that is amazing...thanks for watching Nate!
Gleaming the Cube. That brings back memories. Been trying to find Rad on DVD or Blu Ray but can’t find it. Showtime has just put Rad on their channel so I was finally able to watch it again after all these years
The black diamond edition disney VHS's tend to sell well, they have a black diamond logo on the top of the spine, you had several of them on the VHS shelf
Lots of memories, awesome! I remember having Madballs, remember?
I love the transformers tray. It would have been a no brainer for me. I was born in 1980 so I love the content. Keep up the good work retro.
so glad you are enjoying the videos my friend!
@@retrorick thanks no collection like you but my stuff is just as random. Love to collect my childhood. Bought two transformers autobot blaster for 20 each just so I could open one. The kid in me took over
Felt honered to be your 500 like. Great footage as always!
I love the tv tray!
I haven’t seen this video yet and I already 👍🏼 Like it!

I love those collectible glass cups you found! Im tryin to look for the promotional jurrasic park cups from mcdonalds!
Should have picked up those garfield cups. Hidden message to get a cat? Lol
Good stuff Rick!
Love wrestlmaina 21 such a classic very surprised your not really into wrestling it was such a big part of the 80’s 90’s
That TV tray is 🔥
That tv thoughhh 😍
I would have picked up the fluppy dogs item and the strawberry shortcake thermos. Lots of fun stuff. Never find anything like this in California.
11:28 That game is the pal version

I would definitely be using that TV tray as a rolling tray... if you catch my drift...
That TV tray! Sheeeeesh
I love the vhs board games.....we used to play “nightmare” every weekend!
Big nostalgia right there! 💯
haha that is amazing! Ive been on the lookout for the waynes world one for awhile
I had that star trek board game growing up i remember I could never get anyone to play.
haha oh wow..that is crazy, i never had one
Lol I always wanted to play clue, monopoly, stratego and the infamous risk. But they all took so long noone ever played we just had them
That star trek one is a long one to play but it was cool they had a Klingon on the vhs tape that you was going against.
Dude I totally had the Mario metal tv tray as a kid too. I used to love that thing. It was epic.
i need to find one again!
Ill keep my eye out for you bro
That tv trey is sick!
Damn dude your growing pretty fast, when I first subbed you had like 15k now your at 41k. WOW
I really enjoyed the Blitz the League find a very fun game. Not worth a ton money but loads of fun to play. Have one myself and it is staying in my collection along with Blitz II for my PS3. I do wish we had places like that out west sadly we don't.
New subscriber here as of yesterday. Been watching your videos on and off but never subscribed for some reason. Maybe it's because I'm super jealous of all the awesome retro stuff you always find. 😂... anyways, awesome stuff man!
Love the hey Arnold intro song!
Great video man! :)
Nice finds!
Best youtuber ever
Gleaming the cube is such a great movie. I broke down and ordered it online because I couldn't find it anywhere.
Hey retro! Just picked up the full set of Batman forever mugs with the original Batman McDonald’s bag lol for only $10, wanted them since I was a kid lol
Love the channel!
I'm new to your Channel just subscribe but I have to say Im really enjoying all the videos thank you for bringing back all those memories . To think that I sold my Nintendo collection with like 30 games and the console for like $30 dollars , What Was I Thinkin then again I was only like 12.
I haven't see gleaming the cube for years classic Christian Slater
I have that whole set of Garfield glasses 😂 but I only paid a bucks a piece
"Do you remember Tab?" My mom always had that in the fridge. Yuck.
Hey retro rick im new i just wanted to say keep up the good work
Remember TAB? Oh you mean the drink that still exists today?
I would have picked up the Waltons board game and bought it if it was complete and at a decent price. I'm a suckered for old board games. Love the thrifting videos.
Also you should have brought the big rig truck of chucky cheese for the little one. It all about inspiring the next generation.
The "burger king" mug at 8:27 is a mug from the Boy scouts of America St. Louis Area Council Round up. Burger King logo was on the mug as advertising/sponsor. These mugs aren't that rare and typically sell for about $15 on today's market.
Hey rick BSA stands for boys scouts of America . It looked like that cup was given to a scout leader.
ahh thanks for the heads up!
Gleaming the cube is an excellent movie.
I love Rogue Galaxy, great game. But I think that might be a European copy of it. I noticed the PEGI rating at the bottom instead of the ESRB rating. I love these Antique Mall episodes!!!
You’re so close to 50k!!!
Great vid bro.
I have like 3 sets if the Disney glasses between my parents and my grandma
dang dude...rich in disney glasses!
@@retrorick lol dude , you have no idea. Mom collects cows and Disney. Dad collects sports memorabilia. I collect fishing, 49ers, games, music, movies, weber grills, bbq cook books, vintage coolers/lunch boxes and coffee paraphernalia. So its.... bad.....
That Star Trek board game looked interesting.
14:00 Come on, Rick. You remember Tab, it’s what Marty asked for at the diner in 1955 but it hadn’t been invented yet.
as a huge vintage transformers collector that thumbnail got you an instant click from me
edit: you missed out on spiderman 2 ps2 its regarded as the 2nd best spiderman game of all time formerly 1st time the ps4 game
Should start a series beating retro games and take a poll for each game your gonna play
I had the floor TV that we had growing up and it quit last year
Rick, awesome video as always! To answer your question, Chuck E Cheese is still around at least in Pembroke Pines, Fl. I work for Uber Eats as a side hustle and I go there every once in a while for a delivery. I don't know why people order Chuck E Cheese to go, for me, going there for all the games was the fun part, not the food lol, but I guess to each is own.
I have gleaming the cube, great skateboard movie. But of course I won't sell it, but if I see one I'll let you know.
I never seen gleaming the cube on DVD I've only seen it on VHS.
The same goes for the movie RAD I've seen it on VHS but not DVD. Rad is about BMX bike racing.
That's funny you found the Harvey birdman and then a Tab glass, if you've seen the show you know what I'm saying.
Found a Gremlins’ Gizmo Furby yesterday. Pretty cool. :D
Hope to find one for the wife someday. Not wanting to pay eBay prices
oh dang!!! Ive looked for that for awhile...great find!
@@cecilsgames845 same for me!
4:24 lol
Just got a mint xbox original for 20 today and was about to order tony hawk's undergroud 2 today for much more ! Has
Its dope how u take ur son and ur pops to thirft. I thirft with my mom. It's super fun
hes starting to love going with me!
I don't think you should take the kid no offense. If you not getting to buy something for him what the point? Yeah he might have fun but eventually he going to get upset that an item he likes isn't getting picked and besides you will spend less by yourself than spending with others. Just my 2 cents.
Nice video man
I have that Star Trek game. I got it from a thrift store a couple years ago.
oh nice! I feel like i should have picked it up
6:18 You missed the holy grail from Indiana Jones 3. “You chose poorly.”
oh nooooo....what was i thinking
