Can you use the rhinestone sticky flock with the Brother Scan n Cut?
Hi Jennifer, first time for me to hear that Brother has a machine doing this. I looked into it and the Brother scan and cut does cut rhinestones templates. Once the rhinestones are transferred to the transfer tape, what is the paper you stick it to for storage and/or shipping? Also, how do you store your template? Is the flock sticky on one the opposite side so that you can attach it to a backing board? Thanks in advance. Checking out your Etsy store.
Hi Daniella, yes I use the white backing paper on the transfer tape after, in addition with the sticky flock using the back white paper to keep the sticky protected for the next use and store in a big yellow envelope. I hope this helps?

So you placed the transfer paper on the stones sticky side down? So is there something on the stones that make it stick to the shirt? Does that mean you need special stones?
Hi, yes sticky side down on the rhinestone template material. You use hotfix rhinestones. Hotfix is a glue on the backside of the rhinestones. When you apply your design with an iron or heat press, this heats up the hotfix glue to stick to your garment. Hope this helps?

Hi Elizabeth, The hotfix transfer paper and sticky flock rhinestone material used to create your designs on Cricut and Silhouette would be the same to use. The settings on the machine to cut may differ.

Hi Alia, personally I make sure its a good press when applying the rhinestones. Can do it a few times. I have shirts after many washing they have not come off. I hopes this helps with your question? Jess

@nahnisjourney1406 materials do matter when using a heat press. Would suggest testing first or using an iron instead to apply rhinestones. Hope this helps, Jess

How long would you iron for if you don’t have a heat press
Hi A B, I would press hard for 30 sec per iron press similar to the heat press. Just do this step many times more to make sure the hotfix glue adheres to the garment. The heat press heat is extremely higher then the iron so for the quality of the rhinestones staying on the garment, be patient and do this step as long as it takes with an iron.

You do not tell how long to heat press which is the most important part and either to peel cold or warm
Hi Derek, I personally press my designs for 15 sec x 8-10 times. Peel warm. I understand it seems alot on pressing but have washed tanktops for many years without any missing rhinestones. I hope this helps? Jess
