      Hello! 😊 I walk my 8 months old Bengal daily, roughly one to one and half hour in a forest. My "problem" is that he constantly wants to go outside. He would just sit in front of the front door and meow even right after walking. Heeelp🙃

    My kitten knows how to sit, lie down, follow the finger, and can somewhat spin thanks to your videos. Maybe I'll give these a try with him as well!

    The training is so well explained. She's also a very smart cat, she learns things quickly. Also cute how she tried to high five your hand 😊.

    I would add two more must knows
    Move: get out of the way. For carrying something, and especially helpful for people who can't get around so well.
    & Make up your mind: in or out because the door is closing 😂
    Both are easy 😎

    I'm not sure how to train my cat as she is on a prescription diet so she cannot have treats ☹️ Also she is not keen on cuddles (she is a rescue and I suspect was not well treated in her previous homes) so that is not a reward for her either. Do you have any suggestions for positive reinforcement in such circumstances?

    • @OutdoorBengal
      @OutdoorBengal  18 дней назад +3

      Hello! You probably need a "jackpot cat treat" I would speak with your veterinarian about it, there are sure options that can meet your cat diet's needs and also be more rewarding than their food. I use Feastfuls, they are single ingredients and even cats on a prescription diet can have them. Check with your vet but you should be fine with those! amzn.to/40dgied

    Im not new to clicker training as I used it on my horses, I have been using it for my cats, but having 3 is no easy task to train them. I cant separate them as they will just scratch the carpet up to get in the same room 😆. Ive taught them to sit.. and that is as far as I have gotten 🤣

    • @OutdoorBengal
      @OutdoorBengal  17 дней назад +1

      Training 3 cats simultaneously is HARD! I’ve heard it can be useful to teach a different trick each cat at a time. Also using different click sounds.

      @@OutdoorBengal thank you Ill try that. The boy sits at the back and waits patiently whilst the two girls are just unruly. One of the girls jumps on the side and helps herself to what Im dishing out, first dibs if you like, so I may try what you have shown in this video, thank you :)

    PINE 👏🏻 PELLETS 👏🏻
    I’m a pet sitter/dog walker, plus I had my own cat. Pine pellets are WAY better than litter, there’s no footprints, they don’t track the litter, so you aren’t stepping on it, and, if they accidentally eat any of the line pellets, it won’t hurt them! I like most cat litter, which if they eat it, can cause intestinal blockages because of the clumping agents

    • @OutdoorBengal
      @OutdoorBengal  18 дней назад +2

      I have tried pellets! I’ve heard great things! Mia does not like them…
      In the US we use Worlds Best… but it doesn’t exist in Spain…

    Hi! I don’t know if you’re still responding to comments right now. But I just wanted to ask if I could charge my clicker at meal times instead of feeding treats? Will it still work. I’m a highschool student so I don’t have a lot of time to spare. Also is it ok if I don’t use an actual clicker? Because right now I’m using a remote control that has a clicky button. I’m just not sure if clickers only work because they produce a specific sound wave or something. Sorry for so many questions. Thank you so much for your amazing videos, keep up the good work!

    • @OutdoorBengal
      @OutdoorBengal  10 дней назад

      There are many good alternatives to a clicker (your controller seems to be one of them)! A word cue like "YES" or "GOOD" work well. Snapping your fingers it's an option.
      The only call out is that you must be consistent with the noise, regardless of what it is, or the sound will be meaningless!
      Regarding the charging of the clicker... yes, you can charge during meal times. After a click, comes a reward. I like using kibble as if they were treats. Then after a few repetitions, you can offer the rest of the food bowl.
      I posted a video talking about this: ruclips.net/video/2yjpGUfiXHw/видео.html

      I feed her raw treats, my cat Mia likes freezed dried chicken a lot: amzn.to/3tjrVT9
      Also, I learned that when a cat is not food-motivated, it's very easy to narrow down why! I wrote a short article to help you find out:
