Hello Sandy and thank you for another inspiring and soul healing video. Another 6 weeks of Winter does not sound very good to me. That groundhog needs to get back out of its hole and do a little better for us, we need Spring right now. I hope that you and your family are doing well and staying healthy and happy. The world is going to do what the world is going to do so it is up to each and everyone of us to give ourselves the effort to be happy in spite of what we can't control. I think you do a very good job of that my friend. And I agree that Illegal immigration is surely something that needs some more attention from the people in charge. It is not sustainable for any country. Have a great day and I will see you on the next one.
Well Done Sandy; Your fitter than Me. Iv had My bike in bits renewing parts for winter, It's been back on the road 1wk but I have lost My upper leg muscles. Im 62yrs & know the bike always brings me back up to health. Great Video Sandy.
Did just the same today Sandy. Enjoyed a nice 25 mile bicycle ride with a stop on the banks of the River Dee in Chester to have a coffee. Great video as always Sandy, thank you.
Great video, thanks. Best way to exercise is to walk or cycle out in the fresh air in my opinion. Like you I try to exercise most days and really enjoy it. 😊
proof yet again , you dont need to spend thousands to enjoy life , mother nature always there making sence of this mad world we all live in , like you i dont know what the answer is , but to spoil what is left of our once pleasant land with windmills solar panels and many little boxs that is modern housing sadly not the answer in my book but to many people to cover the countyside in tarmac and concrete " is the future " looks like grandad going to have company soon on his bike rides . take care and thanks for the ride
Always good to they byways of Wiltshire! Especially from your perspective. An American once said to me, " It's a wild, a crazy world, out there !" It certainly seems to be ! Take care and thanks again for your films.
Thanks for sharing this video and well done in getting up Snap Hill, you are certainly fit for your age. All that wonderful landscape will probably be built upon in the future to house all the people you mentioned. Just as a little aside - I wear cycling shorts but put on ordinary trousers over them so I get a more comfortable ride if I cycle long distances, and nobody sees them !! 👍
I felt your effort on Snap Hill. I did have a little smile knowing how tough it is, looks like you sailed up even filming. We will have to get Dave up there now 🚵♂️🚵♂️. The Aldbourne track looked a lot drier than I thought it would be this time of the winter. The Tempest looked to cope really well or was it the power horse driving it along 😀. You managed to get some lovely views of the downs, the sun makes the effort of getting out a real joy. Always a pleasure watching you showcasing our countryside. Cheers.
Cracking film, thanks Sandy. And yes, the sun shone on me today here in Northamptonshire, I had a few hours cycling to Stoke Bruerne on the Grand Union Canal, what a lovely three hours this morning. Astonished you got up that hill, thought you’d stop about halfway! Very well done - your body must thank you for keeping so fit. Here’s the thumbs up 👍🏻 and another, you earned it! 👍🏻🤗 Looking forward to more from you when you get time 🤗
When those tyres wear out, replace them with 45's. The jump from 40 to 45 doesn't sound much, but my god they're an absolute game changer. We've had some glorious sunshine here in Wales too, albeit a little chilly. Roll on summer. Good to see you out and about enjoying it 👍
The fittest over-60 in Wiltshire! Gorgeous weather Sandy. Apprentice is growing fast. Lets hope 2025 is a turning point to our troubles. Rumbles from over the pond may be helpful.
Cracking ride out Sandy, much better weather than up north today. Days are getting longer with little signs that winter is losing its grip, however still a long way to go before the warm riding days are back . Atb Dave 🚲👍
Excellent ride out with great views. Much appreciated. Top of Snap Hill is a good spot for mobile VHF/UHF. Upper Upham has some great countryside views as well.
Hey Sandy, Wow, climbing the Snap hill without a rest! This was very impressive. Thank you for sharing a beautiful countryside with us. You are a role model!
It was a nice ride Scott with over 1500ft of ascent, not too difficult really for anyone with any fitness. My longest days cycling was last year, 101 miles and over 4500ft of climbing with full camping kit onboard.
Thank you, Sandy. Your videos are always a pleasure to watch. It's funny that I have to watch someone in the UK to see a blue sky. It snows every day here. I'm looking forward to riding again. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😄
I’d get up Snap Hill…in my car! I despair what’s happening to our country. I’m worried what sort of country my granddaughter is going to grow up in. Can’t wait to get her camping, cycling and out in nature and away from phones, I Pads and Xbox!!!
Nice views Sandy! You put me to shame fitness wise! .. unrelated query, .. your Iron wall hot tent, do you keep the mesh inner attached to the outer for quick setup when in the bag or do you attach it on every camp?
You are a fit lad sandy ,I see you don't review or use electric cycles anymore ,is this because you don't get the exercise with them ,I always watch your videos ,as you say you cannot beat getting out into nature ,to clear the head 👍
Hi Ala, I did mention this in another video, I just want to do my own thing now, I don't want to review anything at the moment. I found the Chinese ebikes OK but that was just it, they are OK. If you want a really good Ebike be prepared to spend good money and get a recognised brand.
Totally agree Sandy about those stupid looking cycling shorts and the rest of all that cycling stuff, alright for cycling on race tracks but not on roads, I’m more into past time’s cycling, just pedalling slowly and enjoy, rather than cycling as if my life depended on it, lol, on hills, I like to walk up, on steep hills going down I get off and walk, rather than wearing out the break pads, 🤣 I’m in no hurry, as for the immigrants, they are not immigrants,…they are invaders !! 🤔 also Sandy, why not fit mud spats on your bike, I have them, great, rather than looking as if someone’s done a wet fart on your bike….😂😂
Beautiful country, great ride, it’s so important to maintain fitness as we get older, btw, if you start wearing Lycra clothing I may have to stop watching. It’s been way too hot for riding here , we are going through a week of temps in the 40c range, can’t do anything outside.

Hi Sandy. Anyone that knows Snap hill will know it is a beast of a climb. So to you I take my hat off and 2 thumbs up. Well done my friend.

I attached a hose from my phone speaker to my air bed ,and when you were going up hill, you inflated it for me -thanks Sandy 😉
Weldone another fantastic video, all these places on my door step I have never visited.

Yes, my Grandson Lewis will be riding on two wheels soon:) As for the future? But concrete, tarmac and illegal immigration isn't a good way forward
Great day for getting out into the countryside.

Bet I couldn’t make it up Snap Hill, I need to get more serious about my fitness too!
Well done on that hill, you put most youngsters to shame.
12:29 there's the invisible join ! I wondered how that worked when you first started using it.
Great vid as ever.
great vlog thanks for share
Fitter than a butcher's dog, Sandy. Some terrific views too. It's not difficult to see why the ancient people chose the location.

Great to watch as always. Where was the lake and woodland you were at?

USA Rumble: I believe our President is going to positively affect the entire globe.
I'm not doing too bad in the fitness stakes Klaus but I do have my fair share of aches n pains too. I just ignore them! :)
@@garyseckel295 Lets hope so
A great film and an excellent ride out, well done on the steep hill climb. Best regards, Chris. 🍻👍👍👍

Hi Brian, The UK has it's fair share of grey skies, it's been this way for a very long time, even the Roman soldiers didn't enjoy it here!
I’d get up Snap Hill…in my car! I despair what’s happening to our country. I’m worried what sort of country my granddaughter is going to grow up in.
Can’t wait to get her camping, cycling and out in nature and away from phones, I Pads and Xbox!!!
Them stones didnt get there by accident! Well done for Snap Hill Sandy. That really is a tough hill. Great Video.
Well done, Sandy 🚲 , I was huffing & puffing with you all the way, lol. You're Grandson is cute. Is he into Peppa Pig? And what a glorious 🌞 day.
Love the red kite on the wind. Will keep my thoughts on the latter subject quiet as I have plenty of answers to the problem. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Good video as always. Thanks Sandy.
Great video. Thanks. ☺
Another great video.
Thanks Sandy. Great effort and scenery. How about a video on your nav system and how you set up your route ? Just a suggestion 😊

You'll find that info in the description box beneath the video Colin
Lovely day for a country ride Do you ever get out on the old mtb or tourer since you spoilt yourself with these modern bikes lol
