- I tried this method and it works wonders! Just mix developer and baking soda and viola! No need to apply bleach or put lighter hair colour to lighten your hair. Watch the video until the end to see the final and effective result.
Be also mindful that results may differ from person to person. This is just my experience.

Going to tey this now! I have the same exact ingredients. Not that it's too complicated lol. 5hank you SO much! I'm on chemo so bleach on my hair will just melt it - been there, done that. 😂
You have so much red like I do, even as dark as my hair is it’s got the bright red cast, bleaching it turns red. Thanks for your videos! I’m not going dark it’s too much work to lift it out, the whole thing with turning white is trying to make it work as I don’t look old enough to be white lol
Thank you! I'm thinking of trying light brown again.
Color oops works so much better than bleach girl, it works everytime
@@Lila17_ that is true, but it strips everything out a lot harsher than bleach
@@andig2218 that is not true 😂😂 who told you that? Bleach kills your hair , color oops removes red hair in just 15 minutes
@@LeaRobertsonChannelits because black looks harsh on us warm autumn girls, browns, chocolates, goldens, ginger look amazinggg
This worked for me!!! Thank you!!
I'm glad it did😃
Ooohhhh❤
Can you add conditioner or coconut oil into the mix?
Will it still work for the better?
Pano po malalaman kung anong kulay ang gusto mo sa mixed developer. Meron po ba nyang chesnut brown ang kulay? San po nakakabili thanks po
I love watching Asian hair videos, I'm like around 50% Native American (Tecuexe, people eaters)
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Did you use a permanent or temporary midnight colour? I'd like to lighten a permanent very dark brown colour.
Permanent
Thanks for that.@@LeaRobertsonChannel
did you try this i did the same thing?
@@izzyd4941 No, I got cold feet after reading other comments. Still got dark hair. My natural hair was very dark almost black. As soon as I saw a grey hair I started colouring it and have continued for decades. My hair is below my waist so takes quite some dying. I have to do it every two to three weeks to cover the regrowth. Would love to have it a medium to light brown now that I am older.
To those watching, please note that using developer does damage your hair… that’s the point of it. It “roughs up” the hair follicle so that it will absorb new color being added better, or in this case rough it up so it is able to release more of the current color. The whole point of developer is to damage the hair… but not in huge amounts when used properly. It’s more gentle than bleach for sure. Fine to use if you want but just don’t want people fooled by this “no damage” false concept. Still need to be careful using it, too much/sitting it on your hair too long and you can lose your hair
Guys please do a strand test before you try this
O cabelo dela estava platinado..óbvio que pra ela vai funcionar

Equal parts and as much as you need for your hair length and thickness.
There is a product called oops and it is highly recommended, I used it and if it works, I say this so that you don't have to complicate your search for more options...
Didn't work
HELP ME!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO?? I DID THIS AND MY HAIR BECOME RUBBERIZED HELPME 😭😭
Rubberized yikes ,I wont be trying that
Was your hair already dead? Like did you bleach it cuz that might be why

OMG I just did this and my hair is falling out- I'm not joking or exagorating. It's coming out in clumps. I have really strong hair- I have no idea how this happened
U ok??
@@OeilPhotography I'm fine now. But for like 2-ish weeks after I had to be really careful with my hair. I have a few tricks I use to fix damaged hair
@@TheParacosmicTravelerdid you find out what went wrong? This has scared me now
@@haaniaahmed4690 Maybe I added too much of one of the things? Honestly I've heard in the past that this mix can be a harsh one on hair so just do a test strand.
@@TheParacosmicTraveler this mix works the same as hair bleach from the store, mechanism is exactly the same. So it can damage hair. I had the same problem once
No lighter and darker patches? Umm, ok.
Don’t believe this here nail are different when she finish I don’t believe this
