Great video! I was a bit wary of changing the fuel filter but after seeing this video, it looks like a piece of cake. Well done too in editing (like speeding up the applying the screws bits) and the slow motion drive away at the end!
Justin Scarlett Thanks Justin.Theres no need to bleed the air, once you leave the fuel soak into the new filter and top it up after 30mins the engine will start straight away.
have a 2007 fiat panda multijet1.3 have a dangeroue problem when overtaking my speed shuts down to half and wont increase any help would be much appreciated
I'm pretty sure the process is very similar. Theres not too much in the difference between Skoda and Audi. The fuel filter may be located elsewhere in the engine bay.
Andii Rahman usually it will start after trying the ignition a few times. The fuel needs to work its way into the fuel filter and fill it before starting, this happens when you don't fill the filter when replacing it
Poor guy.. Sad the guy didint know that it is his fuel pump being full of air so. fucked. I also had this. But for some reason my brother had a special pump to pump all air out of the fuel pump and so on. Pumping air through the fuel pump is not very healthy for it

Nice clear instructions guys.. Is it just a normal star head (Phillips) screwdriver you use for this?
John McMahon thanks john. Yep that's what I used here.
Hy Man !!!
Thanks for this video.
Would this cause the car to fill like it's lacking power
Yes that would be one symptom of a dirty fuel filter
@@RobertAhearne ok 👍 thank you for replying
Great video boys. Do I need to bleed the air after installing the new filter?
Justin Scarlett Thanks Justin.Theres no need to bleed the air, once you leave the fuel soak into the new filter and top it up after 30mins the engine will start straight away.

Hi, I like your video .Du you think it is the same with Volkswagen Sharan 2000.
Hi, I'm not too sure about a VW Sharan, Audi and VW are very similar, the principles of the change will be the same.
have a 2007 fiat panda multijet1.3 have a dangeroue problem when overtaking my speed shuts down to half and wont increase any help would be much appreciated
Sounds like its going into Limp mode...I would advise to see your mechanic asap.

never seen such kind of diesel filter. usa type?
European type seems to be the standard here for most VWs
Hi is this any way related to p0087 frp error?
Sorry I'm not familiar with this error.
Does this also work on a Skoda Octavia Elegance 1.9 TDI? Great vid guys!!
I'm pretty sure the process is very similar. Theres not too much in the difference between Skoda and Audi. The fuel filter may be located elsewhere in the engine bay.
What kind of liquid u used to refill into?
Cornellius Kiok Fill the new filter up with diesel
or benzine if its that
How do I remove airlock from the engine? Because I forgot to fill fuel into the filter. And now my car wont start but it crank

good video. the o-ring on the control valve - you didn't put it in the groove properly.
Look at 4:10. Two O ring is used.
Good job lad
I live in the uk and I am getting an offer to get my fuel filter changed for £137 on my Honda jazz 2009 is that a good deal
Just the fuel filter? Absolutely not, it cost about 20 euro to buy and 15 mins to put in. I would think 50-60 pounds is enough.
I don't know but the ending is kinda sad...
thanks
nice accent main!
My Irish friend
shame u didnt finish video properly air in system many will copy this and have car wont start
Can you explain how he got air in the system?. I want to change my own filter and this looks like a pretty clear video to follow.
