    The Clareblend Mini is the best microcurrent device hands down. I've tried nuface, ziip, foreo...Clareblend doesn't use a rechargeable battery and is made by a professional microcurrent device maker. It also doesn't heat up my skin nearly as much as the ziip.

    I love the explanation. It was really really helpful. I feel people explaining always say “a gym for your face” and stay there. But yeah, its confusing unless you’re an expert. I always have been so confused about it and scared of buying such an expensive device that I don’t understand. Also, I wonder whether I’ll actually take the time to use it. I’m struggeling to decide on making the purchase even I have been looking at the Medicube device for a while and its at a very good price right now. 😓😓😓

      That is exactly what I noticed in watching videos on the topic! It was a big motivating factor in making this video, although I didn't realize quite how much research I would have to do myself 😆 unlike reading biochem papers where I know most of what they're referring to, I had to learn physics and engineering terminology! It's fun though - I certainly learned a lot
      Wish I could give advice on whether you'll use it or not, but ultimately, that ends up being very personal. I do believe that if you REALLY WANT to stick with a device, you will form that habit! I say that confidently, as I have friends who ask "how do you stick with doing a skincare routine twice a day!?" After all these years, that is second nature. I could do it in my sleep LOL - we can form any habit that we put our minds to!

    You always make me smile, great sense of humor! I am half way into video and completely lost. hahahaha However, giving it a good go and trying to wrap my head around all you are saying. For the most part I can easily say I will not be buying these products. At my age I would love to splurge on products that work to help my face (and my hair I think is starting to thin now), but these are just so expensive to try and I have my doubts that these actually work. I dunno, maybe one day. But, I am enjoying learning and maybe one day I will be ready to splurge, thank you!

    Great, helpful video! I have been so curious about nuface (aside: not curious about *nuance,* Autocorrect, but thanks anyway!). But I think if I am going to blow a chunk of money on a device, I would prefer an LED mask. At least for now! I mean, I am 51 and I guess so far so good (as a determined adherent of the "there's nothing wrong with my face" philosophy of aging, I refuse to be too critical). But I am such a skincare geek and I'm not injecting otherwise healthy tissue for cosmetic reasons. At some point maybe I'll have tried all of the (pain-free) devices. 🤣🤣🤣

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  2 года назад +4

      YES I'm so happy to hear it!! The "aging = bad" mindset in some skincare circles is so frustrating to me. I think skin care should be all about self care, which is a very positive outlet both in physical and psychological aspects, vs a negative mentality towards getting older. After all, it's truly a privilege to live out a full life. I don't ever want to lose sight of that!

    Im an esthetician and LOVE galvanic in the treatment room but I’m so confused with this device😂 you should always remain moving when using galvanic (you should NOT feel anything if you do it’s too intense). I typically use it to facilitate desincrustation then switch the polarity which helps drive products deeper into the skin, aka Iontophoresis

    I’m really so undecided!
    I came into this week wanting the NuFace but the more I researched I downgraded to NuFace mini and now SUPER undecided between this MedicubeEMS and NuFace 😫😕😕
    I seen a NuFace lip video that was interesting but I simulated a NuFace hand/face massage last night for a few minutes on each side and seen similar or better results than some of the photos I’ve seen. Ten minutes would probably done more. And I woke up with the results.
    Ahhhh, I’m buying one of them by the end of the week!
    Suggestions?

    • @deltadawn2409
      @deltadawn2409 Месяц назад

      My one concern with the EMS device is a doctor video said he tasted metallic in the teeth but I do love that it can be used on the body or just as a relaxing massager maybe on the off days 🤔 I was a bit scared of the pain but after this video feeling reassured.
      I’ve seen every lady loving this EMS and then mixed about NuFace… but Medicube is apparently not FDA approved (doesn’t really matter to me, it’s EU approved) and is from Korea… some of the best skincare comes from there.

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole

      Have you considered the booster pro? It has both the derma shot mode (EMS) and a microcurrent mode, in addition to the two electroporation modes. Tbh I didn’t believe they could pull it off until I bought the darn thing and yeah…yeah, the derma shot mode feels like this age-r, and the microcurrent mode feels like nuface!

      So they’re very different! I’m about 5 months into use, here’s a quick summary at this point:
      Nuface - very hard for me to get going with it as I didn’t see much for - honestly a couple of months? But I’ve come to realize that it helps my skin look more refreshed, more healthy, more glowing. For reasons I’m not entirely sure how to explain, it also seems to help reduce my acne
      Medicube - as it’s stronger, it didn’t take long for me to see results. Id say this targets the muscles vs the skin as it seems to almost tone my face? It doesn’t do anything for acne, but instead seems to be almost a structural effect (I hope I’m explaining this clearly lol)
      So they’re very different, but id say the easiest description is that nuface acts more on the surface and medicube more deeply. Hope that helps!

    • @rhondas3017

      When circulation is increased, so does release of oxygen. Oxygen creates a bad environment for bacteria to grow, therefore less acne.
