If you have ducks in your pool, what’s most important is what you shouldn’t do. Please don’t feed them, and they’ll probably move on to better habitat.
Our apt pool was closed last summer it looked like a swamp then for the last 3-4 months there has been ducks in them. The pool just opened a few days ago. I’m wondering why the ducks where there?? To help clean it? Me and my son will not be getting in that’s just gross
Lol cute! But I would definitely be worried about them in the chlorinated water, good practice to cover your pool when not in use. We used to have to rescue toads from our filter if we forgot to cover ours as they would get stuck. Protect our wildlife <3
I feel like Tony Soprano every time I see the ducks in the pool
So my duck has laid a clutch of 4 and now they are swimming in the pool
I would just decide to just take care of them lol
Thanks!
I would have thought that they would have talked about not adding chemicals until the ducks left.
Great Advice
I usually have a couple of ducks show up each year. Beautiful.

If you have a breeding pair of ducks hanging around try to avoid the area where they are nesting.
Definitely helpful advice, due to water being one of the three essential things ducks require in order to thrive.
Good to know !
Although I've always wanted to see ducks in my pool, I'd never bait them in or feed.
hard not to feed them but we don't
Extremely helpful advice! The first instinct is to always feed them.
Thanks for the tips, we had a family of ducks walk down our street pretty awesome.
Yes great tips, just leave them alone & they will find their way to somewhere else.
