when I had baby ducks I would buy live minnows every once in a while and put the minnows in the kiddie pool and they'd go crazy hunting them. It'd be fun to see you do that with these lil dudes!

To be fair, geese are WORSE than ducks where pooping is concerned. And geese are nowhere near as cute and polite as ducks can be. Some of the nastiest birds I've run across are geese. I'd much rather had ducks in my yard and pond. Didn't much care for them at my parents' last home in-state. Every year, they took over the yard and they just pooped all over the place front and back! There was one funny incident involved them, though. We had an orange tabby cat (euthanized 23 years ago now), half-white and half-striped, who got TOO CLOSE to a Canada goose and the bird chased him until he finally hid from it underneath a porch! I didn't witness this but other family members did!
Dude I need you to know how calming I find these videos. Like I don’t have an anxiety disorder or anything but when I watch your stuff I get a kind of peace I’m not really used to feeling. The way you transplant these ecosystems and make life flourish just gives me so much irrational hope for the biosphere
Why are baby animals so darn cute? Boy, does this bring back memories. My parents raised ducks when I was a kid, they were so much fun. You feed them and they’ll follow you anywhere.
They are so adorable !! I think having them at your ponds eventually after they’re a little bigger will be a great asset. I also follow Ima Survivor donkey and animal sanctuary on RUclips and Facebook.. they are not far from you in Texas...they are located in Plum Grove, liberty County. They have a great big pond with ducks geese and other animals. Meal worms are a tasty treat for them.
I saw a farmer who trained his ducks to come in when called. "All ducks go to bed!" He said it every time he herded them in for the night and made sure to have food in there for them. Took like a few days for them to catch on.
I would make a little island, in case they get tired of swimming. There's no place to get out of the water...love how you care for the ducks, it's great.
Oh! Maybe before each meal you could blow a "unique" whistle to let them know you're about to give them food! So when they're all grown and on their own in the ponds they'll know your coming!

Early Edit: I just noticed how fast the ducklings are growing, soon they’ll become healthy strong ducks!
You should make a floating island thats anchored in place for the ducks to have as a safe place in the middle of one of your ponds you could probably plant it up too it'd also give the select pond a good shaded area
