He then relatively calmly went back to the call. The whole place went silent. But someone shouted 'Yeeeessss!'. The Supervisor had blood pouring from his nose and mouth. Do yourself a favor and leave him the Hell alone , because he could be packing a BFK.
BFK=BIG F*CKING KNIFE.
God is great! This whole movie reflects God's glory. And Denzel was the perfect vessel to showcase it.
DAMN.!.!.
Denzel Washington a Archangel of God & a force not to be reckend with
I know this is a fictional movie. But it definitely portrays the power faith can have. Like the bible says. "You can do all thing through Christ who gives you strength." That's it, plain and simple have faith in God and he will take you places you never thought you could go. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path." Proverbs 3 5-6
......"portrays"? Have you ever seen a blind person of God do this? If so, you should report them to the police. I know your faith makes you feel like you can do anything, but you actually can't, you know?
pon33villin *facepalm* I feel you
No, I haven't seen a blind person do this. It's a MOVIE witch means not real, fake. Faith is what seemingly makes the impossible possible. I have seen the power faith has on a person and it makes a hudge impact on peoples lives. Who are you to say otherwise?
nicholas bronson .....uh, no, that would be ignorance... of the reason why something is possible. Like, 'whoa, how did that guy just pull off and re-attach my nose?!' The answer to that question is not 'he must have a lot of faith!'
So what's the answer? Keep in mind it's a movie!
Eli after smashing dudes face into a counter top.
Eli: im gonna grab my things and walking out of here.
Dude: yeah ok. (Falls over dead)
Eli: fuck! I hit him too hard.
Cursed (he pronounced it curs-ed) be the ground.
For our sake.
Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth… For us.
For out of the ground we were taken for the dust we are.
And to the dust we shall return.
RaggedyDan Do you know what scripture it is?
Genesis 3-18
www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+3%3A18-20&version=NKJV#en-NKJV-74
RaggedyDan back then it was pronounced that way
Yes...
Don't touch a god sand
"Won't happen again, I promise you."
"Well.... okay then. Just please don't do that to my cat. I love that cat."
"My apologies, sir."
"Alright... have a good day."
"You too."
Not just one of God's warriors in this favourite movie of mine but also in real Life. God bless you Denzel.
This movie ... is gettin to me more and more, I think I watched it like 10 times... and in this dark times for entire world... I feel there's not many people like ELI around, I can only hope Im one of them, others are just like... part of this savage world, this world which is turnin totally into no-soul savage world, you should ask yourself, very carefully, who are you. Greets from Europe
"For out of the ground we were taken for the dust we are...and to the dust we shall return."
Bada@@ intro to a fight.
After watching this scene for the 20th time, I just realized that the cat dude also had awesome acting to help thread together this classic bar fight.
For those who did not get the message of the movie, for those who debating if he was blind or not ( you guys are just silly) ........
He is a messenger of god , as long as he is the only person containing the gods message/word , he is invisible. Once he shares the message with the girl , he is no longer invisible couse if he dies the message will not die with him.
Is this the same as invincible. Who is silly now lol.
Dale drake petty!
@@kingmelanin7468 Oh yeah.
Ok.. I'm not watching it again, but I've seen it more than twice. He's not fking blind. He didn't just hear or smell the cat or the rat or marauders attacking innocent victims.
Yes, he can read braille, and has good memory, but he is never going to smell or hear his way to finding "How can you mend a broken heart" on his ipod.
Ok, maybe I'll watch it again.
1:18 the power of god was just too much.
15 Men and 1 Woman Lost Their Lives and Were Returned To The Dust Of The Ground In This Scene. Never Mess With A Man Who Slams A Dude's Head On The Bar Counter, Quotes Biblical Verses and Pulls Out A Machete For Self Defense and Is Ready To Go In Attack Mode. It's Just Not Worth It.
Amazing scene.. I'm actually working on animating this scene.
When you do you should upload it to RUclips
Denzel has got style....just watch the way he pulls the sword from his leg! Just classic
I thought it was his leg at first but if you watch earlier when he firsts gets surrounded and turns in a circle, he has the sheath on his back, with the handle of the machete by his leg.
you guys are both wrong. He pulled it out of his ass.
Magadh Naresh wrong again pip boy
Yo, I was looking through the comments just to see if some one else felt the same way I did, I thought the same thing, no one could of pulled a machete out better than he did, classic Denzel, makes everything look great
@@jbfirm4834 It is a great cinematic movement when he unsheathes the machet/sword. Like a samurai movement
I love Gary Oldman but I think this is the first time I've seen him upstaged :0
"Is there anyone else?" - Achilles, Troy.
lol
FOR SHAME! It's: "IS THERE NO ONE ELSE?!"
ImitationBrand this dudes comment is 3 years old but i was also going to correct this bum, "IS THERE NO ONE ELSE"
AA M yes a great line... especially after that great skilled kill of the giant...
Shane S doesn’t matter how long ago it’s been.....
He was just using the VATS System...
You mean dead eye? (From red dead redemption) :)
+Angel Gutierrez vats from fallout
I like your profile pic

When your tired of dying so you turn down the difficulty...
Ultimate blind match: Eli vs Stick (from Daredevil)
The word of the most high is sharper than a two edged sword in this case literally.
good analogy
You know that when Eli cites Bible verses, somebody's getting the rough treatment xD.
".......And to the dust we shall return."
Shivers, every time.
This was like, the best movie ever
loved it
You need to see more movies buddy.
Clinical Depression using rotten tomatoes as a reference automatically makes your comment invalid
Denzel's best movie, in my humble opinion. Ignore rotten tomatoes and those clueless critics.
Still is the best movie!
What a great choice of words for the scene
Really clever take on an apocalyptic movie
It mirrors alot of western stories
The good man walks into town
"Shut up Meg". - girl yelling STOP.
"Cursed be the ground for our sake. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for us. For out of the ground we were taken, for the dust we are... and to the dust we shall return."
Love this quote
The sliding out of the blade from nowhere was epic too
Genesis 3:17
Totally Awesome
I rather go for a bull fight than a guy who quotes bible and pulls a matchet..damn
Denzel being a badass.... Gotta love it.
The first thought that came to mind when he started preaching was...."Oh shit"
When the trouble you were looking for finds you , it won't look like what you thought it would at all. It's absolutely foolish to over estimate your own position or under estimate another person. Be very careful what you ask for, God does have a sense of humor, check your mirror if you need proof !
1:41 "You muthafuckers, You think you could do this to me?!"
LMAO
SHIU PROGRAM NUGGAH!
Anything is possible don't forget that even a blind man can fuck you up truly.
This is the best move I've ever seen in my whole life and it's so true that this will happen one day and most likely in our life time
If you’re gonna fight a guy and he starts quoting scripture while looking bored of the whole situation it’s best to walk away.
Best case scenario he’s crazy, worst case scenario this happens.
You don't even notice him grab that axe before he's ready to cleave that guy's head off
Wise men know to always fear: The sea during a storm. A moonless night. A woman scorned, and the fury of a quiet man.
And Trump's cult.
I love denzel's explosiveness in his roles, like he's exploding instantantly although you'd not expect it
We think Eli is bad....just wait until the REAL 2 witnesses show up on the scene. No harm will be brought unto them. They will spit fire from their mouths. Those 2 guys are really gonna be bad to the bone
Cursed be the ground for our sake, both thorns and thistles it shall bring fourth...for us. For we are dust......and to the dust we shall return.
spliff meister this after eve ate the forbidden fruit
after watching the ending and rewatching the movie, there are so many times u notice he is blind, even when fighting. you notice he never blinks, and he only reacts never go on the attack.
Yea I noticed it the 1st time seeing it but didn't realize till the end he was blind going back and watching it you see that he uses sound as his advantage. Sick movie tho
They got it from _Zatoichi_ Brilliant 60's-70's Samurai series about just that, a blind yet insanely skilled swordsman making his way through 19th century feudal Japan
@@adamscott7354 blind fury had the same premise
@@adamscott7354 I immediately thought of the Zatoichi references too, ... even from the first fight scene in the tunnel
"Cursed be the ground, for our sake. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth, for us. for out of the ground, we were taken for the dust we are. and to the dust we shall return...
Genesis 3:17... followed immediately by Austin 3:16
Flora Edwards 😂😂😂
Watched this movie a couple of times at least already and every time I want to play Fallout after it. ))
yes
I wish a competent developer would make a post apocalyptic game like Fallout. I guess The Last of Us and Metro will have to be enough.
history is such a long breath of time, it stands to reason this double pentakill could have definitely happened on this same earth we stand on now.
Realize this, he took down 20 in under 20 seconds.
No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
I wonder if Eli is based on one of the two angels spoken of in Revelation that are sent to the earth during the tribulation and all strength was given to them. It says they never tasted death when on earth, Elijah never died but was called up to heaven. Eli is short for Elijah...
Imagine sitting in the back seeing 2 dozen of your companions getting cut the fuck up and think aight imma jump in on this
Guy starts versing the bible and pulls out a machete
Me: Oh will you look at the time! Time to go!
After like the third guy got decapitated, I would have just backed off. Guy is taking heads? He means business.
So that's what it looks like when they go for they guy at the same time.
LOL I see what you mean
He's partially blind, he learned brail from his unsighted mother
2:17 2:19 I could swear that's the scream sound for the ganados falling in Resident Evil 4
I've seen this movie many times, and I just realized there are 3 decapitations within 8 seconds of the start of this fight!
Shame this scene has a lot of cuts
Denzel actually trained for his role
I know who you are, murder of innocent travelers on the road, you are going to be held to account for the things you've done, do you know that, do you!! Love and believe that line!!
As the Lord said 🙏💯
Amen.
NEW DENTAL PLAN AT .40 SECONDS!!! LOVE IT!!!
