i was driving back from the high lonesome loop on saturday and i saw someone running down boulder canyon and i was like 'oh shit she's moving' then i was like 'oh shit thats allie ostrander!'
Good luck on this next adventure. What a great place to train. I'm the assisted director of The Nike Smokey Mountain Running Camp and we had 600 high school campers this summer, and they talk about your channel and love it. You are really making a positive impact. Ryan Van Duzer has a great YT channel and may be a good contact in Boulder.
Good luck, Allie O and Spencer (and Georgie, of course) in your new home and training setting. Boulder is a great place and there is much to explore. Thanks for keeping all your followers up to date on the move and your life. You are an inspiration even to me, this 63 year old lifelong runner and marathoner. I don't run nearly as quickly as I used to, but I just can't stop running and training for marathons every year. Your channel is one that helps to keep me going.
Thankyou for actually being my role model Allie, I look up to you and I dream about being as fast as you so thankyou for sharing your journey with us!!❤❤
Welcome!! So excited to look out for you as I’m running on the trails. Also…please don’t be discouraged by all the smoke/haze at the moment. It’s only like this a few days here or there throughout the summer. Most of the time it’s gorgeous! Can’t wait to see what you do next. 😊
Move is such a stressful experience and you are taking it so well (comparatively) - very happy with you both - it looks like it's the right thing to do :)
Its very nourishing for many of us "humans", to follow journeys like the three of you are experiencing (dogs are beings). It confirms the sense of what life is which is a series of experiences to explore our capacity and curiosity. Growth and change are rewards for the lived experience. Thank you for bringing us along. It takes a lot of emotional energy to create these social media episodes. We hope you get a strong sense of community from us out here in "Utubeville" as you head into this chapter. Props to the pa for driving that moving truck. Thats fatherly love.❤🎉
Moving to Boulder from Europe. I’m a cyclist but I just fell in love with the mountains and the place is just amazing. Moving is stressful 😢, but just the thought of a hilly ride across the Rocky Mountains keeps me going. Hope to see u lot there!!!
I’m a 43 year old man. I am not even a runner! I have been in bed suffering from anxiety for the last year. I have stopped working out and stopped leaving the house. During this year, I have started following running. I find it motivating to see what others can do, and it makes me start thinking I can do it too. Your videos calm me down. They make me remember what life was like before this illness. They make me realize that you can do what is good for you despite troubles and despite voices that tell you you can’t. I am still stuck in bed and would love to say your videos make me get up and start being active again. I am not there yet. But I wanted to tell you know appreciate what you’re doing and going through and that you have brought me some calm.
I grew up I’m Niwot which is just 10 miles from Boulder. I’m sure you’ll love it! Enjoy the Moraccan restaurant and climbing Longs Peak. Cross country skiing up in the mountains is awesome.
A personal note: I started following you when I was still in the Seattle area and you were one of the local heroes. A couple years ago I moved to İstanbul and it's been fun to see you and Spence in some of my old haunts: the occasional (for me) loops around Green Lake, Bill Roe All-Comers meets in Shoreline, the Perrigo and Renton Parkruns, etc. But now that you are going to enjoy the high life, I look forward to your new adventures. One suggestion: After you missed out on this year's Olympics, you talked about preparing for the 2028 games. But World Athletics Championships are every year and also a very important part of the sport. Don't get rusty on those steeplechase barriers.
I'm happy for you and Spencer but is this the end of the Seattle crew? Will, Randy, ... CO is a beautiful state as you know from training there. Enjoy your stay! Best of luck with your training.
Yay! You were a “Passenger Princess” next to the King of Boulder. I wish you had picked South Boulder to live but you’ll enjoy your spot too. Welcome from Crissy & Atlas 🐾
Good luck on the next chapter! Watching that montage got me all emotional been following since the beginning and I’m now watching this with my 9 month old daughter sleeping on my chest. Life is so exciting and moves quick enjoy Boulder 🎉
I'm so excited to see you on all those mountain tops with the king of Boulder.I have been with you since day one of your channel, and your trail running is my absolute favorite. You are so mentally tough. ❤️
I've been a fan for a long time...and just moved away from Boulder!! Two ships in the night lol Have a wonderful time in living in such a beautiful place!
Congratulations on your successful move to Boulder. I'm sure you will love it there. Moving isn't fun as you know. Just think of carrying all those boxes as cross training!
Smart move. My wife and I had nine good years in Seattle before retiring and moving to Thailand. Like you and Spencer, we were definitely ready to get out of there, but once in awhile I remember the occasional sunny day in August when the weather was perfect. Winter in Boulder will get old fast, too, but you're from Alaska, so it shouldn't be too bad for you. Enjoy that dry desert air and the altitude. On to better things!
keith spence george and you are such troopers man i just had to move apartments in the same city and that alone was so stressful had to throw so much stuff out cuz it was the last day of the lease, dumpster was looking like a mountain man the seattle montage kinda hit tho like the closing of a chapter so much happened, but this will def be the start of a new exciting one!
Hahaha we literally had to go to the dump and goodwill twice there was SO MUCH STUFF and then we still filled a 10ft uhaul and the entire car like HOW. Moving is the wosrt, I validate your struggle fully.
You two (three! Can't forget little Georgie!) have come a long way 🥰 I hope Boulder is everything you expect it to be and more, and I hope you two can continue to pursue your passion for running up on the high plateau. Also, always have to cheer for a Spence feeding montage - important to stay fueled, especially when you're driving! 😂
It’s not a goodbye, but an I’ll see you later. Seattle will still be there if you ever get tired of that beautiful Colorado weather and want to reminisce under an umbrella. I’m currently taking a road trip up the west coast. The plan is San Diego to Seattle, but don’t know how far I’ll make it. (I’m from Texas and started there last weekend). Not in a hurry at all and plan on doing a lot more hiking. Enjoyed the video as always; keep shining.
When you make it in the next Olympics I promise I will come to the event place to cheer to you, a among all of your other supporters. Just keep on believing Allie❤some day is gonna be yours☺️❤️🔥
I moved from seattle to denver 6 years ago. Both are great places. You will enjoy the colorado vibe. Lots to do and boulder is expensive but fun. Dont discount the auburbs of boulder that are somwtimes more affordable than boulder proper.
Moving is such a stressful/horrid endeavour... Incredible you managed a 90 min bike on the same morning- and a run whilst your car's being fixed !!! That alone gives you legend status in my book lol !!
i was driving back from the high lonesome loop on saturday and i saw someone running down boulder canyon and i was like 'oh shit she's moving' then i was like 'oh shit thats allie ostrander!'
😂😂😂
oh nice! I was low-key struggling that day hahaha, but glad I looked strong!
Good luck on this next adventure. What a great place to train. You are really making a positive impact. Ryan Van Duzer has a great YT channel and may be a good contact in Boulder.
That’s amazing to hear! I’m so glad that they enjoy the content 🫶 and thanks for the rec, I will have to look him up!
MooMooMarh is here 😭
Once Georgie gets acclimated to Boulder's altitude, his sea level spinnies are going to be next level.
Literally he will take flight
"bye Seattle" montage has got me in LITERAL TEARS. and I DIDN'T EVEN LEAVE THAT RAINY TRAFFICKED CITY GOSH DARN.
haha I have to admit that I have rewatched it about 10x and every time I just end up smiling and teary-eyed
I've somehow managed to not be too jealous of your talent, your grit, your popularity, your humor... but I am SO JEALOUS you get to live in Boulder!!!
That's literally how I felt about everyone who lived here when I did my altitude camp! It made the decision to make it my permanent home easy!
Me,too!
LOVE the Spencer feeding montage! 😆
and the Seattle montage at the end ❤
The Seattle montage got me emotional! We will miss everyone so much
Gotta feed the driver!
Red Bull is like caffeinated cough syrup for $4 a can. For medicinal use only.
Love the way you're giggling while he's still setting up his jokes. You two seem really good together.
Good luck, Allie O and Spencer (and Georgie, of course) in your new home and training setting. Boulder is a great place and there is much to explore. Welcome to Boulder!! We're happy to have you as part of our community. See you out there on the roads and trails.
Welcome!! So excited to look out for you as I’m running on the trails. Also…please don’t be discouraged by all the smoke/haze at the moment. It’s only like this a few days here or there throughout the summer. Most of the time it’s gorgeous! Can’t wait to see what you do next. 😊
Oh man, it's the WORST right now. I have asthma and it's been no outdoor running for me, even up here in Ned.
Oh man it's SO bad
yes, we usually got a little "smoke season" in Seattle, so this is fairly normal, but we're so excited for it to clear!
Move is such a stressful experience and you are taking it so well (comparatively) - very happy with you both - it looks like it's the right thing to do :)
Seattle misses you, but happy you are in a new city that I know you really like :) Looking forward to you new adventures!

Anxiety is awful and I pray it stops soon for you. And you can do it!
Best wishes to you

Enjoying your current adventures, but also pumped for the point in your running journey where you get into ultra marathons!
Wow, Spencer’s dad really looks like Spencer!
I think it's the other way around!
@@1519Spring ☺️☺️😊. I know. I said that deliberately to sound comical. 😄😅🙂
😂😂😂😂 what old?
I was hoping you guys spotted big foot on your journey! Congratulations on your successful mov.
That's insane the you feeding Spence video is almost 3 and a half years old. Have fun in Boulder!
A personal note: I started following you when I was still in the Seattle area and you were one of the local heroes. A casual double after a car breakdown and a full day in the car

Maybe I'll see you soon, Allie! Enjoy Boulder! Colorado is a wonderful place to live...
Welcome to CO! Boulder is a bit too busy for me, but I like Denver!
There is no comparison between CO and WA. CO wins hands down. Welcome to the best state!
Idk why but the local legend part had me laughing out loud😂
That’s so nice for you! I hope you enjoy your new home!
Welcome to Boulder. Happy training!
Welcome to Colorado, watch out for the air quality for the next few days. It's been bad. Do you train outside no matter what?
Best of luck on your move! I’m a Rentonite, but love Colorado! They’ve got some great mountains!
I moved from seattle to denver 6 years ago. Both are great places. You will enjoy the colorado vibe. Lots to do and boulder is expensive but fun. Dont discount the auburbs of boulder that are somwtimes more affordable than boulder proper.
One of my favorite channels ready for the content 💯

i hope the best for you allie! keep up the great work for LA ‘26
It's sunny in Seattle today!
Enjoy the journey and beautiful Colorado. 😢
Just in time for the 90-plus degree days, filled with crappy air from wildfires. But it will get better... right?
Moving is such a stressful/horrid endeavour...
Incredible you managed a 90 min bike on the same morning- and a run whilst your car's being fixed !!!
That alone gives you legend status in my book lol !!
Good luck in Boulder. Keith is a hero.
He certainly is.
How nice getting to make a move! Hang in there, Georgie!
Safe travels congrats on the move!
Love Boulder! Hopefully you can drive a couple hours South to the Manitou Incline. My favorite butt kicker!
this is awesome, go get your dreams Allie!
It’s actually #3
1. Provo, Utah
2. Flagstaff, AZ
3. Boulder, CO
Hi Allie, thanks for sharing the video! I have actually been considering moving to the Boulder area, how do you like it? Any recommendations? Thanks!
You were driving on Highway 36 into Boulder at 7:30 - I'm a local and glad you're in Colorado/Boulder! I hope to see you on the trails at some point
Check out waterton canyon! Its gorgeous trail running!

Now that's a pretty cool move.
Good times! Great memories 🤙
Welcome to your new home!!! Also this made me CRAVE that burrito, YUMMMY!
Welcome to Colorado! Sunscreen, sunglasses, extra water. Run by feel or heart rate the first couple of weeks; ignore pace.
Are you going to do the Boulderthon?! I hope I get to meet you
Baby Georgie montage ❤
Not sure if this is possible but can you and Philly do a collab since she is also in the states?
Congrats, you moved from one beautiful state to another! Will Alexis make any cameos in your CO videos?
I hope so!
Ok now iam sure she's going to try the marathon Spencer too
Welcome to Colorado. Ummm… we have our fair share of traffic here too unfortunately. Great place to live and train though. 👍🏾
the feeding montage killed me 😅
Hell yeh. It's like a new chapter in your life. "The rise of the hemoglobin"
