Honestly, I’m completely in favor of people re-creating sonic adventure levels with the addictive gameplay of frontiers Edit: I also appreciate that they added in the “save the animals” feature from final horizon. Not only does it add a reason to search the environment, but it’s very end character for sonic to go out of his way to save woodland creatures.
One organically natural cinematic I would love to watch in a Sonic game, is either hedgehog knowing their next attack would set them up for a 2-hit, unavoidable counter, and they intentionally run faster than the rings that are following them, so they don't collect them until AFTER they hit the enemy and they hit them back, preparing them to take the next 2 attacks.
Because it’s a waste of his awesome skating animation because 90 percent of the time you’ll be boosting when going at high speeds in which he’ll just be flying thus we’ll never get to see it.

Now was this THAT hard Sega? Instead of reusing the same Green Hill, Chem Plant, Sky Sanctuary, and the new digital highway assets over and over again, making the levels you're copying ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE THE LEVEL?
So glad to see people preferring the skating boost for shadow. It looks so stupid when he is just flying, where did that even come from? Nowhere have I seen him just "fly" instead of skating.
If Sonic Frontiers literally had Shadows assets in the game files. That would be dope as hell. They should make a sequel to Sonic Frontiers and call it Shadow Frontiers. Seriously!!! The mods in this are fuckin amazing! :D Looks like what Sonic Adventure 3 would look like. Seriously. Enable ray tracing with 4k and add ReShade and your good to go. :D Loved the rain too. :)
True, I've always complained about how Sonic Team has been declining in their games in terms of animations they use for the gameplay. At least in Sonic x Shadow Generations looks like they have improved.
Shadows running animation matches the drum beat at 1:44 until he hits the spring. I love little moments like that.

Eh, even if he’s supposed to be gliding, I lowkey like him skating. Keeps the hedgehogs distinct y’know? Sonic runs, Shadow skates, Silver glides.
