For video editing, I use Final Cut Pro, for photo editing: Pixelmator Pro, for motion graphics: Apple Keynote. These are mainly on Mac so they may or may not be viable options for you
My camera gear has recently gone missing unfortunately but I used to use a Canon t3i and a basic mic from Amazon. It was hot that great to be honest but I had a nice camera lens that compensated (an f1.4 prime lens). I will be upgrading my camera gear soon to shoot in 4K
