I sold my house, bought a 25ft rv. My grandson and I lived in it 7-8 months in 2021. Travelled around the US, mostly in national and state parks. We both loved it! But my grandson wanted to go to a school, live in a house, so i bought a house again☹️. He loves our home in the mountains, talks about living in the rv fondly. It IS nice to carry your home with you. No need to look for a clean bathroom or restaurant on the road. You carry it all with you. I loved it. Maybe when my grandson is 18, i’ll hit the road again. Smart to rent before you buy👍🏽
i am hitting road in 3 months. just myself 63 yr old single fit woman. but i buying class b. i want to stay in city and parks and park anywhere. if it was 2 people i would not get class b. my dog only 10 pounds. i definitely having lithium batteries and solar and north in summer south winter so dont have worry about heat or ac most of year. 600 solar snd 300 battlehorn lithium would be plenty
Mum & dad have just got back home after 2 months touring in their motor home (short trip by their standards). When they retired, they bought one & spent a lot of time touring Europe from the most northern to the most southern, also Iceland & the Faroe Islands. They haven’t done as much since Covid so this trip was just Scottish highlands, Orkney etc which they have fallen in love with. They’re living the dream!
My late husband had 5 children. He won a small camper from a $1.00 raffle ticket. Took all 5 kids and camped out. Always had a blast. People can get used to things if they want to. I liked the video very much.
My hubby and I own a 1997 Peugeot Boxer Wayfinder motorhome. We have called her "The Old Girl." We have had her for 5 years now and we love motorhoming.
Almost forgot . . . Our family tradition is to try a local dish/traditional dish, everywhere we spend more than two nights. Traveling is about the memories, moments and people you meet 😊 learning about the local culture and history. Bring back a teaspoon/fridge magnet/badge/etc. With a logo/crest of that place.
Casper is the most cheerful contented baby I have ever seen. He seems to love every adventure. Loved the film but would really like to see you using the motorhome for a full week. Very interested in trying the camper experience.
Motor homes, off-road caravans and campers are incredibly popular in Australia particularly for retirees who do “The Lap” which is a trip that circumnavigates virtually the entire Australian coastline. They are called Grey Nomads. It’s also popular for families with primary school aged children to do parts or all of “The Lap” over a few months before the children start secondary schooling.
First : I think you would enjoy it more when Casper gets a little older. He is an energetic toddler and he wants to explore , and like any good parent , you don't want him to get hurt. Second : It's expensive to rent or buy any kind of camper or caravan , so you want to get your money's worth . I've seen a lot of these things just sitting around people's driveways , hardly being used after one or two camping seasons. On the other hand , some people camp year round . I suggest that you give another try when Casper is a little bit older and try it for 3-5 days . Make plans as a family on where to go and check out some of the sights along the way. CHEERS
❤ As you say... if your baby was a little older... I remember my childhood holiday in a Caravan in Norfolk... the excitement of leaving Birmingham England for the first time... with my sister and running into the North Sea ...... I was 11 years old and my sister was 13 years old...the joyous Seventies ❤
18:10 To answer that question, Blackbelt Barrister talked about sleeping in your car, and if you can be charged with DIC by sleeping on the back seat, a motor home is presumably no exception.
BROWNING MY MINCE OFF 😂😂😂😂😂Gotta love Gaby !I must say it is really good, and the bedroom is awesome !I can't believe how much room u have, and they have really well equipped the van hope u had a lovely couple of days !❤
I think it’s because you just stayed in a generic field it wasn’t the best. You can take them anywhere ! Glen Coe in one of these is a different world. Motor homing is literally endless possibilities.
I agree with Gabby. More fun when you’re little. Just a hint for you, Tim, when you tell your wife that you have a weekend getaway planned, don’t show up with an RV because I assure you she was thinking of a little more plush. 😂😂
Tim, here’s an idea. My rv is tranformed when i make up the beds with fluffy pretty comforters and pillows. And a lacy tablecloth on the table. Candles. Makes it like home. Pretty towels in bathroom. Rugs. Expensive hotels have these things.
hi, last year i brought a tablot motorhome 1990, i paid £2700 for it and me, my wife and 2 kids drove around france and spain, we did about 3600miles and we are doing the same thing this year, you can get a lot off free park up in the uk, france and spain. it gives you so much freedom like you said you can just pull up and make a drink (if its safe to do so). we parked right next the beach in spain and it was free.. if you get somewhere and you dont like it then you park up and move some on.. its a good way of life
Hi from New Zealand (and yes, I have subscribed). I LOVE motorhomes. Gaby just needs a few more days in it and perhaps have the baby stay with family while you are touring in it to see how she enjoys it with just the two of you. Just a suggestion, anyway.
Loved the Vlog. Gabys reaction was brilliant . You do a wonderful pitch of how good it is to Gaby and she really does get in the spirit of trying the experience, very positively. As usual very entertaining, informative, useful and down to earth. Well Done again Tim and Gaby.
I think that a tourer caravan is a better option for most people because most of these campervans cost well over £60,000, whereas you can get a relatively new caravan and a tow car for that price. Also, with a caravan, you can still go places with your car once you've reached the camp site. Towing a caravan can be the reason why people choose campers though, not for the faint hearted at times.
We looked at buying one (love the hol's) but hired instead regularly from a terrific firm. No maintenance, storage, depreciation etc and it's clean and ready to go when you are.
Such fun to watch this. Think the look on Gaby's face told a thousand stories! Friends have bought an old van and done it up themselves to travel around in. They're off every weekend in it and love the freedom. I love the diversity of what you do Tim...never know where you will go or what you will do next and you certainly can't go wrong with a spagbol can you🍝😄?! Cook with me Tim! 😁Great videos. x J x
Good afternoon gabby and tim and your little boy it was lovely to see you and your family going on adventures on the Norfolk boards yesterday evening my dad and me and mum camped in bannan zoo in Norfolk it's good for all the family I only watched yesterday and today's walk with Tim on your you tube channel please keep safe and warm please keep your videos going on your you tube channel I hope you are all well and enjoying your adventures where ever you go
Come to America and see how incredibly popular Rvs and camping really is. Our channel is an example of this. We will in the not so distant future be living full time in our 36 foot RV.
I think it is the perfect holiday for couples with children. We used to love camping with the kids, but now they are grown, and we are older, our days of camping have passed just because of the work it entails. We are glad to leave it for the younger families to enjoy.
I think I'm with you Tim because I love driving around exploring new places and being able to stay somewhere unplanned. I used to go on travel holidays with my Dad and he would never book anywhere in advance, so we never knew where we were going to end up each day, it was a great adventure.
A camper is ok for a weekend but GREAT for touring holidays, where they excel. I drove from the chunnel down to Alicante and back and explored all the places on the way over 3 weeks.
I’m intrigued how you have to work out how everything works especially the awning when most motor home hire companies spend at least an hour or two showing you how it all works and advise like don’t put the awning out if a storm or strong wind is forecast.
IT REALLY MATTERS WHERE YOU TAKE IT WE RENTED MY FRIENDS VAN, MAYBE 25 FOOTER FOR A WEEK, HE CHARGED ME 25 DOLLARS A DAY, WE DROVE IT FROM SAN RAMON CA. TO LAKE TAHOE CA. TALK ABOUT NATURAL BEAUTY, HUGE LAKE, FISHING, CASINOS, SWIMMING, FORREST, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM WHERE U GUYS WERE. PADDLE WHEELER CRUISE ON THE LAKE, EXCELLENT DINNER, JIKING DOWN TO THE CASTLE, OMG, IT WAS G L O R I O U S! SO FUN TO WATCH U GUYS THOUGH.
TYPICAL LITTLE BOY, HE WANTS TO DRIVE IT! SO NICE TO MEET YOUR WIFE AND CUTE LITTLE MAN, DIDN'T GET MUCH CHANCE AT THE PRISON! LOVELY FAMILY! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS DAVE ,ORANGE COUNTY, CA.
No screens on the windows? You guys have no bugs? That's a nice RV. I like to use paper plates for traveling. More convenient and lighter. I need a separate shower so ours is a 36" x 36". Our bathroom is huge.
I'm with gaby on this one. You can get a really nice hotel for £300 per night. And you don't have any work to do. No washing up, no need to clean the van, empty the toilet, fill up the water etc. I want to relax on holiday. Not work. More santorini and dubai style videos please.
The one thing I really like about motorhomes is being able to pack up and move around if you don't like a certain area or site Tim & family your video's are really helpful especially for families with a young child Keep up the excellent work and it's so good to see your channel growing, 216k subs 🙂💙🍻
It’s too soon Tim. When children are a bit older they really enjoy this type of holiday. There are a lot of awesome sites with loads of activities and space for children to be able to make friends and run and play outdoors all day whilst knowing ‘home’ and Mum and Dad are not far away. It’s really friendly and relaxing then.
Your videos have always been high quality. You've become quite a master of your craft as lately with this and the Greek vlogs you raised your own bar. Keep up the great work.
Drinking wine while he cooked - the one and only Keith Floyd! Maybe that's where Lloyd Grossman came from, Lloyd/Floyd...great video as always and a snazzy little motorhome! Literally like a home, with a motor. Wouldn't fit me in the shower though being a bit on the heavier side - well, I might fit in, might not get out again...
I use to be in the Guides and my Dad was a Scout leader. We use to camp a lot the nicer months it was in tents and the horrible months it was in buildings. While l have never slept in a motor home it is no different in a way to camping just you dont have to pack up and leave.
I'm serving in a UK police force. As for your "drink drive" question. There is an offence of "drunk in charge of a motor vehicle", which is typically used for a drunk person who falls asleep in their car, it used to be a case of if they had the keys on their person, they were deemed "in charge" of the vehicle and if it could be proven they were intoxicated (roadside breathalyser and evidential one at a custody suite) there was an offence. This is technically still the case but nowadays it's more about there being a way to prove that you had the intent to drive the vehicle whilst intoxicated, it's not usually enough to state that you were simply intoxicated whilst in a motor vehicle to which the keys were also inside the vehicle. This is likely to especially be the case when the vehicle in question is also a motorhome, for which of course one might sleep in and especially more so than a car. Generally speaking it's not an issue, just don't get drunk and fall asleep in the driver's seat! On another note - there was also an argument about whether a person who breaks into a motor home commits a "theft" or a "burglary" (burglary being theft from a dwelling). The general consensus here is that if the motorhome or caravan is not being lived in at the time (parked up on someone's drive, parked in the rear garden) then it's a theft if someone breaks into it and steals from it. If however the motorhome/caravan is being lived in at the time (thus being used as a "Dwelling") then it becomes a burglary if someone breaks into it and steals from it.
Shower looks a bit of a faff. The best one I've seen was like a wall, that you pulled across and it pushed all the "dry" stuff to one side and revealed a shower area. When done, you just slid it back again and you had a dry toilet/washbasin area. It was really clever. All that rattling and squeaking would drive me spare on a long trip. It's a no from me. Oh man, your wife's face when you announced the van. Never seen a heart sink so fast.
Great video as usual Tim. My theory on whether you like camping/caravaning as an adult depends if you went as a child. If you have great memories of camping as a child, this stays with you and you are more likely to go as an adult. Children love the adventure and the freedom of camping and the atmosphere of the camp site. Unfortunately, as we get older, we prefer the home comforts more and become more picky/critical. I have tried to get my wife to like camping to no avail! I said to her that when I retire, I would love to get a camper van and just tour! Her reply? I am sure that you will come back to visit me every so often!
In the U. S. , the passengers can drink sitting back at the table, when you're travelling. When you're parked, anyone can drink...i was told that passengers can drink in the front seat while travelling, but i always hid my beer in a can cozy anyway. In case the rule varied from state to state. We had great fun RV-ing for yeeears❤🎉
When I was young, my parents had a touring caravan. We travelled in that from Scotland to italy. Apart from a snake in the toilet in France it was fun and my brother and sister inlaw have one too . Flexible living
Tour the highlands of Scotland in one, you won't regret it. Good site at Rosemarie looking out over the sea, and a walk up the beach to Chanonry point, you have a good chance to see the Moray Firth dolphins.
You have an adorable little boy. I love camping. I can camp in a tent or a camper. I would love to see a video of you all in a tent. Thanks for sharing another great video!
Looks Amazing Tim , I have done this sort of thing in a VW way back in the 70's around the Med and I still live those days in my head ... Things were much cheaper then and very affordable ... But £600 for 2 days wow Im with Gabby on that point ...way too expensive . Buy an old van and kit it out for when Casper gets older you wont regret it and Im sure Gaby will learn to love the freedom of it ....Made me laugh when you fast forwarded Gaby talking ..your face was a picture 😂..great video Tim , I love all of you ..❤
I have often wondered what it would be like but I agree, at that price you could book really nice holiday cottages and the only thing you miss out on is the flexibility of moving around. I think I will stick to cottages but I can see that if you OWNED one it could be quite nice to bomb off for the weekend every so often.
@@jamessmith99731 - I agree to a certain extent, I'm 50 and only watch RUclips because I have youngish children, I just think there's another whole audience who'd really appreciate his content
Buying one of these might be like buying an ironing board for your partner's birthday. Where's the holiday if you need to cook and clean as if you're at home plus they need to be maintained before and after holidays, through winter and they devalue a LOT.
Bless Gaby's reaction to the camper van - she gave it a try and can see she got into the spirit of it. Looks ok, but seemed a bit fiddly and cramped toilet shower. I can see you Tim enjoying adventures in it with Casper! Def a boys and their toys type thing. Camping's great fun though, esp with mates. I totally dig that community vibe of a camp site. Can't beat sitting round a fire and sharing stories. Something to look forward to when Casper's a bit bigger. 😊
I follow a utuber who lives in a van. She’s very well organised. The van is 💯 with all the comforts she needs. In USA the “van people” are allowed to park overnight in certain listed hotel car parks, for safety, where they get good lighting and security. Plus they are allowed to use some hotel facilities for a fee, such as the gyms laundromats etc. They’re also allowed to fill up the fresh water. I like her videos during storms! Plus one time she was snowed in, but still cosy. it’s an alternative way of life for some.
Loved that camper van! I’d love to hire one. Shame Gaby wasn’t so keen but I’m glad she tried it. I loved seeing Caspers face laughing when he was running around 😊 When you said the van was rocking from the wind I was thinking “when the vans rocking don’t come knocking” 😂
That was just so much fun to watch! 😆I've never tried a motorhome but I have always wanted to and there was nothing in your video to put me off, in fact I reckon you would make an awesome motorhome salesman Tim! Shame that Gaby wasn't too keen, maybe one day, in many years to come when Casper is all grown up, she might like the idea better. Looks like you need deep pockets though, that was pricey. Top video Tim, thank you 😊
Hi Tim and Gabby and Casper as well!, I really enjoyed the video, wish it could've gone on a bit longer, because I was so interested by the motorhome and which campsite you were going to stay at and just watching the three of you living in it!. I thought the motorhome was massive and there was so much room and it had everything you would need for a weeks holiday or longer!, I would definitely stay in it and would love to travel round Britain's coastline. Just travelling from place to place, visiting museums, castles and any other attractions, you could go to Devon and go to dartmoor moors and just pitch up in any of the carparks for the day/night. There's miles and miles of dartmoor to explore!, they're are so many places you could go in motorhome and lots to explore!, I can understand Gabby might not fancy it, some people don't like caravaning or camping in tents, it's not for everyone!. I on the other hand am a big fan of it and the motorhome you were renting was probably a luxury one, because I've seen smaller ones which I would hope are cheaper to rent out!.I would have to persuade my other half because he would be doing the driving and he doesn't think it's that easy to do. Maybe in the future you could persuade Gabby again to travel in motorhome, maybe when Casper is older and not into everything, I enjoyed this video and hope you make more of them Tim 😊
I used to LOVE trailer camping. I purchased an excellent condition, used 31 foot Airstream for $10,000, and sold it 10 years later, for $10,000. Great way to spend the summer. And....I installed a bidet.
We have had motorhomes for more than 20 years now and absolutely love it. We have a good solar array so can do wild camping as well as site camping. One thing we have learned though is that we would be very reluctant to park so close to the chemical toilet disposal and waste area, as you have because we have often found it can be extremely smelly 💩 💩🤢. Not all sites but many, of them are, especially if the disposal point is actually indoors !! (One in North Walsham in Norfolk was so bad, it made everyone gag who went in there. Site owners insisted the door was kept shut which let the smell build up so bad - yuck)
This Campavan was certainly more luxurious than I thought it was going to be! Very plush Seats & I loved the way the driving seats turn around to make a dining area! Obviously no room for a sofa but fairly comfortable. The upper bed when Gaby got up there she did look comfortable on it & the little window looking out! Everything was in there wasn't it! I liked how everything was provided you didn't need to take anything with you. The Toilet looked ok & the Tap/Shower Transformer was amazing 🤩 really didn't expect that! The Gas & Electric looked easy to use. For me personally I feel the same way as Gaby maybe one or 2 nights away or maybe one longer holiday in a Campavan might be ok, you've swayed me Tim because before I didn't like the thought of staying in a Campavan at all! Just with me being abit of a more rounded person than you or Gaby I can imagine i would end up with bruises with bashing my Hips against the sideboard or catching my Bum on something 😂 I'd have to manoeuvre myself carefully! But all in all a very interesting & fun vlog! I hope you & Gaby do go away for a Campavan Holiday again🤩😊.
I live in the States and we used to camp quite a bit when the kids were younger. It can be a fantastic family time for everyone. Started out with a little pop up camper and after a decade we wanted a bit more amenities and got a travel trailer. It’s not for everyone but Gabby was right, campsites can be communities where friends and family can gather all together. I highly recommend camping and Gabby is a good sport to go along.
I’m Really, Really Pleased That You Two (The Baby Also) Had a Lovely, Exciting Experience Staying In This Camper Home! However, For The Rental Price I Could and Would Rather Stay At a RitzCarlton For 2 Luxurious Nights! I Truly Get The Freedom & Adventure It Brings, But I Love & Prefer Luxury Of a 5* RC Or Four Seasons Hotel.😊 Having Said All That, I Enjoyed Your Video Enormously! Thank You For Posting & Sharing!❤️xox HAPPY TRAVELS!!!
Loved the episode. Actually own a motorhome and love going away with my partner at short notice. Half the time we don’t even know where we’re going to end up. That’s the beauty of touring. We park up and use electric bikes to explore. Mind you, I’m with Gabby…our washroom is the full width of the van so much more user friendly! Keep up the good work. Love your vids
I was one of those who hadn’t subscribed until now! Well done Tim,I really loved this episode and having Gaby and beautiful smiling Thumper made it even better! God bless! ❤
I think this is the most animated I’ve ever seen Tim! Like a kid at Christmas 😄 I totally get it tho, I love caravan holidays for the same reason, the childhood nostalgia Also I cracked up at the glances at the camera whilst Gaby was sped through 😂😂 And thumps is so stinkin cute! I’m sure he has his moments but he seems like such a happy smiley child 🥰
I absolutely love the idea. If you were my husband, I would be over the moon. (Obviously, I am married) In fact, we are planning on buying one and going around the uk for 6 months. I personally can't wait x happy camping in the future Tim, Gabby and Casper
Looks like alot of fun. Healthy fry up in the morning. Plenty of bacon, eggs, sausage and fried bread. Travel anywhere. Fill your lungs of good clean coastal air. Park up at a campsite and have a good night out.
Awesome you two!!!! My wife and I loved our RV days, the adventures and memories are priceless!! Have fun and be safe and enjoy every minute!!! We love you guys, God bless. 🙏🏾❤️👏🏾😂🙏🏾
Supermarkets in my town stopped the £1 thing and now the yobs take the trolleys and dump them in the stream and leave them all over parks and streets. I wish they would bring the £1 back!
Absolutely loved this, something me and jason want to do when the kids move out. Only thing we need to check is finding a wheelchair friendly one. Will be in hemsby from the 26th of August for a week. Be great to see you all. Keep up the good work xxx
Oh I loved this!!! Tim, sounds like if you keep Gaby a bit tipsy, she'll happily go along for another trip! She Did say that the more she drank, the more she liked it. 😉😊👨👩👦🍷🍷
Another great watch! I thoroughly enjoyed this and Gabby without a doubt always has me laughing, she’s so comical! And loved her reference to British sitcoms! Me and my boyfriend would love to go round in one of these! Tim couldn’t smile wide enough 😀 and Casper is such a sweetie! Love to you all x
Maybe we should try driving to Spain in one ... can u imagine gabys' reaction 😅
That's would be a fantastic vlog 'Tim & Gaby in their Campavan in Spain!'
Indeed, I can imagine Gaby's reaction!
Do it, do it, do it lol That would be a great episode to watch 👍
Yh
I think Spain might be a little far for Gaby. Looking at the Tesco it looks like Caister so Spain maybe a little too far lol…
What I love about your videos Tim is your ability to make the viewer feel like there part of your family and on holiday with you.
Thanks 👍
100%
They’re.😊
It was Keuth Floyd, who drank red wine whist .cooking
Agree Sapphire 100%

GABY HAS A GREAT PERSONALITY! SHE IS SO FUNNY!
Your little boy is so lovely.
He is always smiling and so happy.❤
Never fails to delight this viewer how genuinely lovely Tim and Gaby are.

Haha your looks to camera when Gabys talking is hilarious!!!
You’re one of the best presenters around Tim, you’re a natural. ❤
one thing I love is the many camera angles you give us. I can tell this takes a lot of effort. Just know they're appreciated!
FROM UNDERNEATH THE CAMPER TRUCK WAS REALLY INTERESTING!
💯 appreciated!
My hubby and I own a 1997 Peugeot Boxer Wayfinder motorhome. We have called her "The Old Girl." We have had her for 5 years now and we love motorhoming.
I love you and Gabby together and im really happy you allowed her room to get used to the idea of the RV instead of insisting she like it like you do
Love the editing when Gaby was talking in the shower. Well done tim 😂
Thank you!! 😁
Im not sure SHE loved it!! Lol!! 😂
MIGHT HAVE BEEN FUNNY TO HEAR WHAT SHE WAS SAYING, SHE IS SO FUNNY!

Casper is the most cheerful contented baby I have ever seen. He seems to love every adventure. Loved the film but would really like to see you using the motorhome for a full week. Very interested in trying the camper experience.
You are so kind
It was Keith Floyd who was always sloshed on red during his cookery programmes lol
Yes lol
I loved him! He was only on a few times here in the US, and he'd been long since passed away.
Gabys knowledge on the greatest British sitcoms is second to none
That Inbetweeners episode was just class 🙂

I love the diversity of what you do Tim...never know where you will go or what you will do next and you certainly can't go wrong with a spagbol can you🍝😄?! Cook with me Tim! 😁Great videos. x J x
Lol no more cooking 🤣
She's brilliant , great humour they are well suited.
Good afternoon gabby and tim and your little boy it was lovely to see you and your family going on adventures on the Norfolk boards yesterday evening my dad and me and mum camped in bannan zoo in Norfolk it's good for all the family I only watched yesterday and today's walk with Tim on your you tube channel please keep safe and warm please keep your videos going on your you tube channel I hope you are all well and enjoying your adventures where ever you go
I don’t think Tim realised that there was an extra side place that clicks into place to put the dishes love the video
Come to America and see how incredibly popular Rvs and camping really is. Our channel is an example of this. We will in the not so distant future be living full time in our 36 foot RV.
What a fun episode! Thank you, all 3 of you, we loved every moment 🥰
Our pleasure!
Tim, Gabby is a supermodel! Love you guys.
IT REALLY MATTERS WHERE YOU TAKE IT WE RENTED MY FRIENDS VAN, MAYBE 25 FOOTER FOR A WEEK,
HE CHARGED ME 25 DOLLARS A DAY, WE DROVE IT FROM SAN RAMON CA. TO LAKE TAHOE CA. TALK ABOUT
NATURAL BEAUTY, HUGE LAKE, FISHING, CASINOS, SWIMMING, FORREST, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM
WHERE U GUYS WERE. PADDLE WHEELER CRUISE ON THE LAKE, EXCELLENT DINNER, JIKING DOWN TO THE
CASTLE, OMG, IT WAS
G L O R I O U S! SO FUN TO WATCH U GUYS THOUGH.
TYPICAL LITTLE BOY, HE WANTS TO DRIVE IT! SO NICE TO MEET YOUR WIFE AND CUTE LITTLE MAN,
DIDN'T GET MUCH CHANCE AT THE PRISON! LOVELY FAMILY! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS DAVE ,ORANGE COUNTY, CA.
“You couldn’t do any hanky panky up here” 😂😂
Best line of the whole video haha
😁
No screens on the windows? You guys have no bugs? That's a nice RV. I like to use paper plates for traveling. More convenient and lighter. I need a separate shower so ours is a 36" x 36". Our bathroom is huge.
Loved this, I would love to try it a weekend.
HERE INTHE U.S YOU HAVE TO PUT A QUARTER IN THE CARTS AT ALDI LIKE YOU GUYS DID AT TESCO.
I'm with gaby on this one. You can get a really nice hotel for £300 per night. And you don't have any work to do. No washing up, no need to clean the van, empty the toilet, fill up the water etc.
I want to relax on holiday. Not work.
More santorini and dubai style videos please.
Fair enough!
The one thing I really like about motorhomes is being able to pack up and move around if you don't like a certain area or site
Tim & family your video's are really helpful especially for families with a young child
Keep up the excellent work and it's so good to see your channel growing, 216k subs 🙂💙🍻
Wow, thank you!
Wow, the best way to travel Tim.😊
If however the motorhome/caravan is being lived in at the time (thus being used as a "Dwelling") then it becomes a burglary if someone breaks into it and steals from it.
safest option - do not risk it. Stay sober if inside the van
Best advice. @@marcus.H
Fun at parties this one
@@mrjagriff Do you condone drink driving?
Pretty selfish if you ask me. He asked a question to his audience, and got an answer!
No, officer, I do not drink and drive. I pull off the road first.
Lol I know right not happy
Love the videos with Gabby!! Her reaction was priceless. Little Casper looked excited at least!! Hope you had a fab time guys 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
When I was young, my parents had a touring caravan. We travelled in that from Scotland to italy. Apart from a snake in the toilet in France it was fun and my brother and sister inlaw have one too . Flexible living
🤣🤣🤣🤣 The look on Tim's face when Gabby was talking about the shower !
Priceless 😂😂
Tour the highlands of Scotland in one, you won't regret it. Good site at Rosemarie looking out over the sea, and a walk up the beach to Chanonry point, you have a good chance to see the Moray Firth dolphins.
Such an interesting, enjoyable video . Tim you're content just keeps getting even better . Wonderful channel and i love Gaby's channel too ❤
Thanks so much!
Gaby has a channel ?
You have an adorable little boy. I love camping. I can camp in a tent or a camper. I would love to see a video of you all in a tent. Thanks for sharing another great video!
Looks Amazing Tim , I have done this sort of thing in a VW way back in the 70's around the Med and I still live those days in my head ... Things were much cheaper then and very affordable ... But £600 for 2 days wow Im with Gabby on that point ...way too expensive . Buy an old van and kit it out for when Casper gets older you wont regret it and Im sure Gaby will learn to love the freedom of it ....Made me laugh when you fast forwarded Gaby talking ..your face was a picture 😂..great video Tim , I love all of you ..❤
Tbh it's high season aug
I have often wondered what it would be like but I agree, at that price you could book really nice holiday cottages and the only thing you miss out on is the flexibility of moving around. I think I will stick to cottages but I can see that if you OWNED one it could be quite nice to bomb off for the weekend every so often.
A great retirement plan, 😂 looked like fun, and I’d prefer this to camping ⛺️
Your videos are the bomb, so honest, and informing, why havent you got a tv programme yet??? You're a natural presenter ❤
@@kkrispy2009P thanks, I'll check them out. I still think he should pitch his vlogs to expand to a TV travel show, he's fantastic.
TV is dead. YT is a much better format for an independent creator like Tim.
I have on RUclips lol
I agree
So true!
I loved seeing Caspers face laughing when he was running around 😊
When you said the van was rocking from the wind I was thinking “when the vans rocking don’t come knocking” 😂
ha it was ;-)
I used to love caravaning when I was younger with my mum and dad in our tourer. A sense of freedom.
Top video Tim, thank you 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes I won't pay that again
This is my favorite episode. I love seeing your beautiful family enjoying themselves.
Thanks yes it was a bit more high end hence the price but I knew I had to to get gabys approval.. that didn't work lol
I used to LOVE trailer camping. I purchased an excellent condition, used 31 foot Airstream for $10,000, and sold it 10 years later, for $10,000. Great way to spend the summer. And....I installed a bidet.
I think it’s great but so expensive.thanks for sharing it with us ❤️
We have had motorhomes for more than 20 years now and absolutely love it.
Just with me being abit of a more rounded person than you or Gaby I can imagine i would end up with bruises with bashing my Hips against the sideboard or catching my Bum on something 😂
I'd have to manoeuvre myself carefully!
But all in all a very interesting & fun vlog!
I hope you & Gaby do go away for a Campavan Holiday again🤩😊.
Some are much nicer than this
@@WalkWithMeTim I'd love to see you in an even more luxurious Campavan Tim!!🤩
I live in the States and we used to camp quite a bit when the kids were younger. It can be a fantastic family time for everyone. Started out with a little pop up camper and after a decade we wanted a bit more amenities and got a travel trailer. It’s not for everyone but Gabby was right, campsites can be communities where friends and family can gather all together. I highly recommend camping and Gabby is a good sport to go along.
Casper is always happy!
Love that!
Hi tim and fam .it was kieth floyd who had a glass of wine everytime he cooked on tv .my mum lived watchin him ❤love the campervan ❤
I was one of those who hadn’t subscribed until now!
Well done Tim,I really loved this episode and having Gaby and beautiful smiling Thumper made it even better! God bless! ❤
Thanks kitty
Well done Tim, thank you for taking us wiv you loved it outstanding 👏👏
I think this is the most animated I’ve ever seen Tim! Like a kid at Christmas 😄 I totally get it tho, I love caravan holidays for the same reason, the childhood nostalgia
Also I cracked up at the glances at the camera whilst Gaby was sped through 😂😂
And thumps is so stinkin cute!
I’m sure he has his moments but he seems like such a happy smiley child 🥰
That part had me cracking up too! 😄
Tim was so happy and excited!
I know and for what .. to caravan on my own lol
It was Keith Floyd who was always on the vino while cooking 😊
I absolutely love the idea. If you were my husband, I would be over the moon. (Obviously, I am married) In fact, we are planning on buying one and going around the uk for 6 months. I personally can't wait x happy camping in the future Tim, Gabby and Casper
Lol
Looks like alot of fun. Healthy fry up in the morning. Plenty of bacon, eggs, sausage and fried bread. Travel anywhere. Fill your lungs of good clean coastal air. Park up at a campsite and have a good night out.
Awesome you two!!!! My wife and I loved our RV days, the adventures and memories are priceless!! Have fun and be safe and enjoy every minute!!! We love you guys, God bless. 🙏🏾❤️👏🏾😂🙏🏾
Thanks Daniel
Supermarkets in my town stopped the £1 thing and now the yobs take the trolleys and dump them in the stream and leave them all over parks and streets. I wish they would bring the £1 back!
Absolutely loved this, something me and jason want to do when the kids move out. Only thing we need to check is finding a wheelchair friendly one. Will be in hemsby from the 26th of August for a week. Be great to see you all. Keep up the good work xxx
I love it when Gabby's on the vids. Sorry Tim but I wanna hear more from Gabby haha. Such a nice girl 😊
Oh I loved this!!! Tim, sounds like if you keep Gaby a bit tipsy, she'll happily go along for another trip! She Did say that the more she drank, the more she liked it. 😉😊👨👩👦🍷🍷
Lol
Casper is such a boy, super sweet as well. Your vids are relaxing and informative.
Love to you all x
thanks Aimee
