    Wow ❤
    It's seam easy way but it's appear how far ur experienced and so professional in that career.. .
    Most pant patterns are much steps and not suitable for blocks cutting

    i’ve seen some pattern makers make the back knee and hem 2 inches wider than the front as opposed to only 1 inch wider. what’s the difference in fit?

    • @PatternStudio101
      @PatternStudio101  2 месяца назад +1

      @@jliving02 That doesn’t change the fit. The inseam and out seam will be more towards the front. If the pant legs are wide, it’s not very noticeable.

    Professor JIN,
    I just have an ask plz...
    Is that pattern including sewing allowance or i should add after drawing...?!

    • @PatternStudio101
      @PatternStudio101  22 дня назад +1

      All my patterns do NOT have seam allowance. Thank you!

  • @khalilbeamon
    @khalilbeamon Месяц назад

    for the waist to hip measurement. You went up 3 inches from the bottom. Is that the industry standard if you don't have the measurement?

    • @PatternStudio101
      @PatternStudio101  22 дня назад

      Depending on someone's height and pant silhouette, it varies. But if you can't measure both hip length & crotch length, 3" would be a good starting point for the distance between hip and crotch when it comes to regular slim fit pants.

  • @johannabroberg6535
    @johannabroberg6535 6 месяцев назад

    Maybe a stupid question but when you talk about 5% of hip for the front crotch, it that 5% of the garment mment or the body mment? Thanks for a great video

    • @PatternStudio101
      @PatternStudio101  6 месяцев назад

      @@johannabroberg6535 That doesn’t matter. The difference between them is very small.
