I’ve been watching the clock until this video dropped! 😅 This is a really interesting method, i’ll be trying it very soon! Looking forward to hearing your insights to construction! Thanks as always, Jin!
Hi. I mostly appreciate you. But I really confused about on the point. How you calculating the the knee or leg opening. Example when the knee circumference is 25. Then how you calculating front knee & back knee? May you consider to explain pls.
@@md.akramuzzaman9306 It depends on the type of pants but in this case, slim pants, the back hem and knee is 1” bigger than the front one. So if you want to have 25” knee circumference, front would be 12”, and the back is 13”.
@@PatternStudio101 so messurement of hem and bottom will be increased by 1 inches more of actual measurement. Because after dividing by 4 u added 1/2 inches in both sides on back Pls this is last question So hem u took 8 ie 16 inches but after making the pattern and adding seam allowance i got ready pant measurement 17 of hem

Is this applicable for female trouser too?
@@leomarnavalta578 Yes!!

But seam allowance is there in pattern or we have to add the seam allowance after wards ??
@@shurahbiltharani9891 Pattern doesn’t have seam allowance. You have to add it.
But seam allowance will be on botha back and front and how much on 4 sides ???
@@shurahbiltharani9891 1cm or 1:2” would be good for all around and 1 1/2” - 2” for the pant hem.
