We had a "Time out" camper that we towed with our Honda Goldwing ,we really enjoyed many trips with it. A Time out folds out and pops up into a 2 room camper, real comfort, we both had back problems and didn't like sleeping on the ground.
Sturgis is as far west as I ever got on 2 wheels, a load of fun. Montana is a beautiful state even from the truck routes. A lot of breath taking scenery from 18 wheels.
Once when my wife and I were coming back from Florida to Illinois it was cold. We would stop at rest areas and blow the hand dryers into our gloves to warm them up. In Tennessee it got so cold I finally stopped and put her on a bus and sent her home. Those muffs you have sure would have been handy then. They have electric heaters for them now. Thank you for bringing back memories for me.
Good video Linda and Rick, also we have a neighbor that goes camping with his Harley and pulls behind him a small little trailer painted up like his bike. But keep doing what your doing for as long as you can, we both hit 70 and enjoy ourselves also.
Wow! Gorgeous video Rick! Makes the Montana beauty even more spectacular. I gotta give credit to my maintenance team back in the day for keeping those aircraft flying safe. A shout out to Billy, Rob, Katrina, Kevin, and Seth. We had a fantastic group of pilots to work with too.
Great to y'all out riding around Montana on the cycles and can't wait until you go to Arizona but stay safe and take care at home with your family and have a very Merry Christmas Thank You Rick and Linda. 🌲🏍️🇺🇲🏍️🌲
I am at La Posa AZ LTVA right now. Leaving end of January. I remember riding my sport bikes 🏍 rain 🌧 or shine when I was a kid but I was dressed for it in full racing leather with full face helmet, saved my skin a few times. Lots of fun. Enjoy your motorcycles.
Sweet ride Rick...love the new ape hangers!...I know exactly what you mean about camping in tents...I switched to using hammocks 16 years ago and never looked back...theres a bit of a learning curve to using hammocks...but once learned, man O man...Merry Christmas to you, Linda and the rest of the gang!...God bless...Dave

Love it! I'm not necessarily a motorcycle fan (although I do ride) Sturgis..Absolutely on my bucket list. Looking forward to those episodes. What about Oshkosh plane fly in? Would be awesome to be there as well. As always, Be well & Merry Early Christmas.
Enjoyed the video , Rick and Linda. Ride safe and keep enjoying life. I hope to buy you and Linda pizza at Silly Al's in Quartzite. January cant get here soon enough.

Thanks for all you share,,,Shaka and Aloha from Grubstake at the Jungalow on the Big Island
Hi yall, Glad to see you again. Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? To prevent cold hands why not get some hand warmers? Shoestring really liked them. And they're pretty cheap.
Howdy Rick n Linda. Sorry this comment is about a week late, but I've been Trying to Put-Out a few fires before my special day, 75th, and I've been Swamped. I Must Say, I envie you riding on your fabulous bikes in the Great Wide Open. The Closest thing to Flying without leaving the ground. You are Lucky. With my bum shoulder and destroyed elbow, I can't even take the chance riding on the highway. But, I will be getting that Honda Off Road Trail Bike, or maybe you could convince me about your Yamaha??? Which one is superior??? And I haven't forgotten about the recipe for my killer BlueBerry Pie, I know you will find it different and unique but I'll send that via email. I Love your Traveling Background music, it's perfect, More Please. (isn't it a bit of a Knarly Chill Factor riding in both Winter and in Montana Fast-Frost????) You Guyz r Krazy.
Hey! I’m thrilled that you’re coming to Arizona. Feel free to contact me, maybe my husband and I can meet up with you. If you’re going to be near Glendale, we have a guest room.
Sturgis can be a lot of fun but it has got VERY commercialized now. Still worth going if you haven’t been. Don’t be surprised of some nudity in the camp grounds.
Rick , I rode over 200 K miles from 1999 until now. I used to laugh when someone called me a Biker. I would tell them i was a rider. I had road rash and no tattoos. I kidded my biker friends I covered to many miles to stop at the road houses. 😅 IN 2006 we covered 8200 miles in 13 days and put our boots down in every state west of the Mississippi. I is my grandest achievement. I still dream of the Big Horn mountains of Wyoming and your Bitterroots.
Rick are you a member of your local or area HOG chapter? I am a member and have been for 26 years, its a good thing but some chapters are more active than others, my local chapter is pretty good, its just a bunch of folks of like mind that like to ride their Harleys and take organized rides together and in many ways are similar to a civic club but different as the members are Harley riders, I have a 97 Roadking and a 2015 Triglide definitely prefer the 2 wheels over the three If you plan to camp from the back of the Harley there is a national campground that works great called Holiday Inn and another called Best Western, they are great
I personally don't think motorcycle riding on public highways is a safe thing today. Yes for sure! They were a great bunch and we never had a single issue.
There's nothing like riding with friends, it just makes your soul feel good. Food looked great too.
Ride safe, and keep the shiny side up.

You got that right! Thanks, JT!
There is no better way to explore our fine country than on a Harley.
I wish both of you well. Take care.

God bless you all and keep warm out there!

Beautiful trip, beautiful bikes, but I worry!
Thanks for worrying about us, we appreciate that.
Freedom and the Open Road!
Sweet ride, thanks for taking us with ya! Love the handlebar muffs, that makes it seem doable to me.
Those were nice to have, my hands didn't freeze like they usually do.
Looking forward to your trip to Arizona, leaveing the snow behind.
Us too!
Love to ride the Open Road! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful sights. 😊
LOVE the new intro!
You will be ready for Sturgis in no time. Keep it up 👍

Merry Christmas to you and Helen!
I love riding music.
good ol vitamin i. i will swing by monarch on my way down, great little place.
Be safe and enjoy!
Thank you!
My last bike was a ‘02 Road King. Quit riding after about 40 years. Kinda miss it at times.😉
Went from bike to a quad and due to disability had to sell it. Now got a electric 3 wheel thing that works when I remember to charge it.
Love this channel and your outings and information. Happy Holidays to you and Linda!
Thank you, we appreciate your comment! Merry Christmas to you too.
Looking good!
Great video guys!
That bag blocks a wonderful view from the bike. But a nice ride though.
We just got a 360 camera that will make a big difference.
Good to see you out and about on an adventure. Thanks for the video!
Motorcycle therapy is highly effective for mental health. The Little Belt mountains are beautiful.

Thank you and an early Merry Christmas to you too! Oshkosh sounds like fun for a future adventure.
Awesome!! Thx for the great video! We love our 2011 Road King Classic.
Enjoyed the video , Rick and Linda. Ride safe and keep enjoying life. I hope to buy you and Linda pizza at Silly Al's in Quartzite. January cant get here soon enough.
Hope we see you there!
Hells geezers, you know about the timing chain and sumping issues? Nice bikes, mine is a 78 FLH, old school
We do and I intend to get those taken care of before spring.
I can't ride anymore due to inner ear balance problem, but I'm sure impressed that you can! 😃😃
Linda has that problem and that's why she couldn't ride her ebike and ended up breaking her ankle.

Thanks for your offer! We used to live in Keaau when there wasn't much traffic on the Pahoa Hwy. You can email us at: gonagain21@gmail.com. Aloha!
Definitely miss my 2017 Road Glide Special, my wrist arthritis got to the point that riding was too painful
Yeah, that would do it. A lot of us older riders suffer from shoulder pain too.
Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper ride again, lol
Hi yall,
Glad to see you again. Did you have a nice Thanksgiving?

Hereagain - 4th!
Hey Hereagain!
Hahahahahahahaha
@@gonagain I crack myself up
Christine’s dad (my father in law) rode his Road King from Virginia to Sturgis.
What a ride that must have been and to end up in Sturgis!
If you go to sturgis just keep in mind it always seems to storm every year I’ve seen terrible winds- hail- rain get prepared
We've been picking up good raingear because we know it's going to happen!

I like the Yamaha because it gets us into less trouble than with a trail bike. You would be leaving us in the dust if you had the Honda. Aloha~
Nice Road King. We want to Sturgis in '05. Do you guys have a ride bell for your bike?
Ride safe and have fun!
Yes we do!
Sturgis has some cabins for rent, and Custer has some blue bell cabins reasonable. Need reservation.
Thanks for the tips.
Hey! I’m thrilled that you’re coming to Arizona. Feel free to contact me, maybe my husband and I can meet up with you. If you’re going to be near Glendale, we have a guest room.
That's a very nice offer! It's all going to depend on the weather because we try to camp at the warmest locations. Sometimes it's cold down there.
@ I understand. If the timing is right we can visit you.
Sturgis can be a lot of fun but it has got VERY commercialized now. Still worth going if you haven’t been. Don’t be surprised of some nudity in the camp grounds.

Now Linda & Rick can Cruz down to Louisiana and drink some good Louisiana Community Coffee
Did you have pie?
Sadly, no pie there. Dang it.
I am looking for some handlebar muffs for my ebike. Would those work?
Yes, I think they will.
So now you can go to White Sulfer Hot Spring for a soak with all the other bikers?
I don't know if I want to be in a hot spring with a bunch of bikers!
