I came to see the Westminster concert a number of years ago and I snuck in a camcorder to tape a friend that was in the choir... When I get to this song, sung the exact same way, I cannot help but have my eyes well up... unbelievably stunningly beautiful... Some day when I die, this is what I want to hear on my way up to Heaven... Very well done....
James Jordan is the Reason why I am a conductor today. This piece and his light helped me see that all things are possible if you love the music you prepare and perform.. The audience deserves that!

im 16 and i really want to get into this college. my dad was in the chorus at westminster in 1984. want to follow in his footsteps. what a pure and rich sound this choir has. its unreal.
I was Jim Jordan's accompanist at Westminster in (1996? It's been a long time ago. I remember this setting but can not remember who did this arrangement. I remember singing with him my freshman (1994) and then went in Symphonic my second year. My home is Richmond, VA and this is St. Jame's Episcopal church. The church that I served as organist and choirmaster(before my WCC days) was across the street.
For anyone who find that this touches them, I hope they search out the Anam Cara "Angels in the Architecture" CD. It was made by members of the 2008-2009 Williamson Voices (some of whom are in this video). It is truly beautiful on here, but with the clear recording of CD, it is, in the words of James Jordan, "stunning".
Who wrote this piece? I never heard this before. And also, this is by far the greatest choir I have ever heard in my life... and I have heard a lot of choirs. :) I hope I can sing with these beautiful angels in the near future. I am a music ed major and a composer. This is absolutely stunning. Thank you.

This I believe is the same church in Sranton, Pa I sing in with Schoal in 2002.
