This is great!! Deserves a lot more positive comments!! Slight difference on the two windows does not outweigh the mesmerizing result!!
I tried to do it as well with Microsoft windows. Didn't work.
Reminds me of that video from a while ago, of the sheep wearing LED lights being herded at night, in that much of the effect is created afterwards, in the editing, and not "live" as it appears. Very cool concept and great implementation though, in both cases.
Bravo !
I love this, creativity like this will one day save this planet
Bravo ! BRAVO !!!!!
omg this is brilliant xD and I'm impressed, don't matter how u did this because I love result ;)
0:40: pokémons trainers will know
Very very cool. Thanks for letting us see backstage. Amazing performance art.
I think this is your best one so far!
Stop motion is amazing it never ceases to surprise me!
This has earned its place in my "Shit I like a lot" playlist
Belle performance, Bravo !
This is a great video, and under-apreciated. My hats off to you
Top ce petit timelapse collaboratif #photo !
Bravo aux étudiants et au photographe !
What they've done is they've taken pictures of all the possible window states (Closed, half open open, etc), then created the patterns in editing. So it probably didn't take them that long.
Spoons Well, there are two long parts on this, along with the one you mentioned. One is preproduction, which is shown at last, that consists on organizing everything, planning and making people calculating and putting windows in each place.
Then is the production, where the photographer takes every picture needed to capture all windows states.
Finally, there is the post production, which compiles, aligns and then makes the animation. I think they must've used some programming process not to make each animation frame by hand.
As you can see, you only took production into account, being far more complicated than you thought. It takes a lot of knowledge to be in the position of being skeptical.
It's pretty easy to isolate just the tower, especially seeing as it's just a giant rectangle. Anyway, if you pause the video on a frame where a person is holding up their hands, and then fast forward to where they're holding up their hands again, it's the same exact image.
this incredible performance was shot in Lausanne / SWITZERLAND with the HESAV tower (a health school). You'll find a accurate googlemap situation on our own NOTsoNOISY website. Links and more info in the text description above
Really impressive & so creative! Cant wait to see more of your work!!!!
Sorry, but it's in Switzerland
Superbe!
Wow, I'm impressed because this involved so much time, planning, and coordination. Did you guys have walkie talkies to help coordinate everyone?
Fantastic, but I am also distracted by the two scratched blinds in the third row from the top.
I saw this on the news this morning (in Tulsa, ok!). Pretty cool!
What you mean is there's about 10 pictures per window, different open and closed ones, a blank one and 2 with a person in different poses.
Those are student rooms and a girl decorated hers a long time before. They were told to take decorations off but I guess she forgot.
Anyone know where to download the song and more importantly what it's called? Is the artist's name REZ-EDIT or Christian Pauuchon or both? His website isn't very useful.
wau this is so cool :D love all of your wideos
The one that really bugged me was third row down, first window on the right, left shutter, I don't think it's a towel, I think it's a replacement from a different batch. I kept trying to click on it, thinking it was highlighted for some reason. But the right shutter, middle window that same row can also catch my eye.
lol... incredible !!!!
it's very crazy and beautiful *__*
que eee trabalho espetacular!!!
ficou muito incrível!
Song name is "Spectrangle" and now downloadable on his website.
nice to Show the "making of" !
good Job!
Very impressive work you guys. Very impressive indeed.
Hahaha amazing that's an original idea and a good realisation
Incorrect. Watch the pedestrian traffic to the bottom right of the screen and other random elements not part of the performance. It doesn't randomly jump, or repeat..
Realmente maravilloso, mucho y muy buen trabajo. Felicidades
I was all happy watching the video. Until I realised 16 people died in the making of this awesomeness.
jesus, how long did that take??
they didn't forget that's impossible with so many people standing underneath the building, and with the director having a megaphone
Shame that you can't just simply appreciate the whole idea of people doing something together, even if it's just once...
Hey I just notice the window 3rd down from the right have patterns on it!
magnifiquement bien fais!
So cute building!
I never thought I had OCD, until I saw that one shutter in this video.
una cosa de locos!!!
Great Project Thanks to all.. Supperr
This is my school and I'm so proud of
Awesomeness good effort MORE for Sure
What? you clearly don't understand what I was saying. They did the animations on a computer from photos of the windows open, closing and closed.
It seems more impressive than it is
This must of taken HOURS!!!
Watch "Projekt P.I.W.O." - a digital version of this performance, but awesome aswell!
Trés belle pérforma...bravo
What's that on 3EA's window?
if they were gonna go through the editing trouble they coulda edited out the distracting window panel thats like half gray and half yellow with a heart in it.... and just made it a regulat white panel like the rest
Amazing work!
Aww man, I didn't notice it until you said that :(
Wunderbar, Danke!
alright, you win this time @Notsonoisy.
10/20, très passable !
This is awesome!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEH MACARENA
Was waiting for it the whole time.
I wouldnt be so sure, probably not the whole thing, take a look at the leaves on the left tree!
I loved do the Erasmus in this university! :)
can i have the link? please
not only the yellow one.. 3rd window on 3rd column/3rd row.. there's a spot there! :D
Great work!
ocd? if you had ocd you would notice 3rd row 9th collumn
AND 3rd row 6TH COLLUMN
Génial !! =D
If you had one person that would adamantly not participate nor allow their room to participate, you would have a dead pixel.
Music by REZ-EDIT Christian Pauchon (look at the description for the link ;-)
fantastic!
This video is 9 out of 11 on the playlist, what if a plane hit the building at the end of the video. (inception noise)
Mai visto niente di simile decisamente fantastico
link to the song ?
Got to say, that was cool to watch..
amazing nice work :D
Shame you guys only opened and closed them all once then animated the whole thing later on a computer.
hahah I didn't even noticed that there was yellow window until I started reading comments after watching video
Don't you mean 2 windows?
AWESOME!
they just need a couple shots of each window. rest is probably animated completely.
The tree on the left dances better than the building.
Do you mean they photoshopped the clouds to give an impression of lineair time?
It must be tired to open and shut windows all that times.
Even more if sync'd
Incroyable!
Yep you're right. Nobody can have any fun ever because people are starving hundreds to thousands of miles away.
Brilliant!
Crazy people!
You have lot of free time, but it's cool!!!
So, this is where 4k intros went!
