Slim is the blues!
One of the most underrated Bluesmen ever.
This is one of the best blues and harp player's i have heard man
Absolutely he plays my favrate song ever. Wish I could play the harp like that.
This man is singing from his heart and you can tell
Gotta love Slim!! Badass!!
He's playing the hell outta that French harp.
This guy was extraordinary ! His music, his voice... Incredible !!!
Of course this isn't the original recording that he made back in 1961 on Excello records but a good version as well. His original recording in 1961 was a monster hit here in OKC on our weekly top 40 radio survey.

Genius
First time I've heard this take - and I love it !
Me too 👍💕💕💕
Not the original more guitar here but still the Slim that I luv. I remember this about '63 or so. Playing a Jazzmaster in Miami.
And more French harp......
me too...and I heard the original as a kid in the late 1950's/early 1960's.... no guitar in that version...this maybe "bluesier"
Got to give it to him the man's very good love him to bad he's gone
Very *GOOD**soul song! The very good and relaxing rythim!!
Pure swamp blues
Maravilha o BLUE nunca morre mas esses maís antigos são top a raíz
Ciao bello , grazie Gerry Roma
Better then the Niel young and the shocking pinks version
That's because Slim co-wrote the song, so it's not a 'version'.
@@steveboyle184 wahahahahahaha
💔😔
Anyway you cut it, it’s still some pretty clean harping.
His brother in law was good on the harmonica too lazy Lester
Muy buena canción y que ritmo entre guitarra y armónica.
I prefer the original 1961 recording.
