Sometimes the stars align and the Lord blesses you; this appears like one of those days. Heck, those fish were so fresh, you may as well have caght them off the coast of Greenland, lol. I very much enjoyed the video and send greetings from the Champlain Valley in New York, where our salmon are landlocked, smaller, leap over tall buildings and are scrappy with the best of 'em!

I couldn’t agree more with your assessment of the salmon’s freshness, we’re located just under 7 miles from the sea so they are literally still on their first deep breath as they run through our section of the river. Sounds like you have access to some feisty salmonids yourself, I’ve never heard of or fished for landlocked salmon but from your description, it sounds like fun. Tight lines for the rest of the season. 🎣🎣🎣
