@@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 I like the summer because they like to put on a show and jump a lot. I like winters because that’s when the big dawgs come in the river🤘🏽

Nice job man. That first one is almost special. I’d like to tell you it only gets easier now, but meh…

Thanks. From my experience winter steelhead fishing for the past 8-10 years, I know that it doesn't necessarily get easier, but we do get more skilled and do catch more. Thanks for watching friend. Fish on!

The eggs are tiny because summer steelhead don’t lay there eggs until October and November

Yes, I learned that this year. It's very cool and different than the winter run. Thanks for commenting.

Nice, I always fish and always get skunked, last time I caught something big was 3 months ago, I fished all over Portland but can’t catch anything, any tips?

Yes, follow the fish if you want something big. If you just want to catch, go catch trout and if you need help let me know. If you want to target big fish I recommend you go to the ODFW fishing report, pick your area and read the "Best bets for weekend fishing." They give tips on there to go for the best chances. myodfw.com/recreation-report/fishing-report

I've never heard of that. I came up with my channel name without assistance, but not without inspiration!

How do you tell the difference between a summer and a winter?
