I was able to get this job done in under 5 hours in the driveway because of this video. Great step by step. Appreciate not having to troubleshoot because you did that for us. Lol
I have the 22 SRT 392 and am considering this lowering kit . So far only the mid muffler delete has been done . I'm looking forward to PAYING someone to do this once the SRT /Hellcat kit becomes available ! LOL. I have enough years under my belt to recognize when the job goes to the pros . Plus getting up and down from the ground gets harder as the years go by . Thanks for saving me from myself !!!
Came here to see how others got the damn front strut past the axle and can’t believe how well you documented that struggle. I was hesitant to pull the axle because I wasn’t sure what that entailed (I.e. clips, shims). On top of that I was also curious why the eibach is longer and was doubting I got the right part number. Currently calling it a night because of all things I don’t have a 6mm Allen key to tighten my Bilstein shock top nut. Really annoyed with a lot of aspects of working on the R/T but all these vids really help.
It was an ass kicker for sure, glad our video was able to help. Definitely was curious about the size on the springs at first and also that strut past the axle part was a head scratcher for me. Glad you’re doing it!
Thanks man, it makes us really happy to hear people say that about this video! You can totally do it, just find a local shop to spring compress to the strut otherwise you got it!

One of the best videos on here explaining the steps. Thank you for this. I have a 2022 RT durango & purchased the eibach lowering pro kit. How do i know if i have the self-leveling shocks or need to change them like you did? Thank you in advance.
Glad that it was helpful for you! You’ll know you have self leveling shocks if they were the same ones we had just compare what you see in your car to the part of the video where we show the new non leveling shocks vs the self leveling ones they look different have different part numbers
Well done, my friend, but I want to ask you whether the car has become more comfortable on bumps than before, or is it the same because I care about comfort, and if you have any way to make the car comfortable while walking, then this is what matters more to me than downloading it. Thank you.
Thank you, we felt the car was just as comfortable after doing this upgrade as it was before doing the lowering. Not a noticeable change in ride comfort and it still handled very good.
Just started doing mine last night. Doing a full BWoodys suspension as well and I will tell you, when you take the whole suspension apart the spring just falls out 😂. Sorry you had struggles bro. Good video and it will help a lot of people going forward.
That’s great man and yeah didn’t want to remove control arms if I didn’t have to, was a little bit more of a fight but we got it. Thanks for the support man!!
Damn , I just noticed you have an old Sears floor jack , I have one just like it , but mine needs new seals in it to be 100% useable. It's many years old.
Haha that’s rad you got one too, yes alex found this gem working at the landfill. It’s a little sketchy on the release kinda races down fast but it works otherwise!
Why didn’t you just remove the upper A arm and push down on the wheel hub? Looks like you have to replace it anyway because it looks like the rubber housing on the ball joint is ripped

It definitely looks better at that height. Also couldn't help but notice who was worried about HIS pretty nails and not letting his lady use the gloves. 😂
Thanks, we agree! @moparrmama don’t need gloves, I just had them on pushing down with all my might on a ball joint and caliper sharp edges doesn’t feel great on the hands. Also messed up my manicure yes
In the Spring Eibach box there are two bump stops why do you didn't use that. I would like to know because I ordered the kit and it arrived and I saw two in the box?
Great video. You will love the ride on the eibach. I been running them since 2016. Back then they weren't sold as for the Durango. You had to get the Jeep Cherokee version. They later sold them as fitting Durangos. What spec did u get on the alignment?
@FanelliRestorations Soec us the #s unit with what u call tolerances. Getting the rear is a real pian. Most have to buy adjustable rear dog bones, aka upper control arm.
A couple of questions for you: Was the shock mount plate not needed? I see it listed on the mopar website and is supposed to go on top of the shock mount but don’t see you have installed it. What about the shock dust shield? Was that not needed? I see the LL shock has them and they are also listed on mopar website, I suppose is optional? Thank you for your help!
Good questions, yes we installed it and you need the shock mount you can see me put it on the shock at 45:17 and show it closer at 47:07. The dust shield doesn’t come with the new shocks we ordered, not necessary to have. Optional just depends on preference we don’t think the car will see much dust and debris.
Are the parts you listed in your video all you need? I have read multiple forums that everyone else stated that you needed additional hardware and materials compared to what you used
What size are the springs? I did a 2/ 4 oncmy ram and i was hoping tocdo the same on my durango but i seen your other video and i like the stance.i need what u used
Was told this is similar to the 2021 jeep grand Cherokee l since they also use the same lowering springs. Is there a video anyone can link or should i follow this video. I’m assuming i don’t need to put the axle out, never seen that have to be done before

I’m glad it was helpful! Not sure I understand your question 100%, are you asking does the tire touch the wheel well (wheel opening?) the bumper is not near the shock…
Hello no I’m talking about that yellow urethane bumper that’s mounted on the shaft of the shock. As I noticed in your video and as I am experience there is no travel anymore for the shock the bumper is hitting the upper shock mount and the top of the shock. Did you have any issues as this thing is compressing a lot probably because there is no room for the shock to travel up and down. Hope this helps thank you
