OK, Got it to work! The brand new USB drives were the problem. I had a WD My Passport (for Mac) external drive and used that instead. Put the OS on there and the partition mounted without issue and...was able to finish the install process. Outstanding!

I just installed Mojave on my e7440. Went without a hitch!! Thanks for the great tutorial! I am putting the Dell through its paces and so far Mojave is working well. I will order a USB wifi stick. My e7440 still has a spinning drive, but it still boots in about 60 seconds. I will also upgrade to an SSD soon which will help speed things up. One question - Is there a way to show the battery status in the menu bar??
did you get the batter monitor to work? Battery monitor does not show on mine.

Would you recommend to install Catalina on this device or the e7440 ? And can I then still use ur EFI folder then.
Hi Amin! No I don't. Catalina is a little more CPU and memory intensive so stick with Mojave. Thanks!

Quick question on the TP Link. Did you just use the Mac drivers from the TP Link website to get it working or another Hackintosh program? I see there are a few options out there for the Wi-Fi with the hackintosh. You mentioned you had to install something to get it working in the vid. Thank you!

hi thank you for sharing such nice tutoria!, I hack my dell last year but the trackpad doesn't run smoothly when i scroll internet pages with 2 fingers, do you have any recommendation about what could it be? thank you very much!
have you done a video on setting up the usb stick if you DONT have a mac operating system to use? ie only Linux or Windows.
The only thing that I would do different would be to put in the adapter and use the Apple Wi-Fi card
One more thing. I got it to work on a Dell E7440. Hey Mr. TechNolli, can you provide a link or model for the TP Link Wi-Fi adapter? There are a few to choose from on Amazon and want to be sure I get one that will work. Thanks for providing this great info. It was fun and challenging to install this.

@@dud1n I just followed the video. There weren't any special tweaks needed! I found one with an I7 processor, upgraded the RAM and SSD.

Had an issue with mounting the partition. Tried everything. USB's were the culprit. See above.
Hi K! When you make the USB bootloader the EFI partition is made for you. So something must be wrong the USB creation. Try again. When the USB installer is done you will see a hidden EFI partition using CC. Let me know. Thanks!
I have a issue when I install hackintosh in my current computer it boots up and then after that command like thing interface it reboots and doesnt work

At the start do I have to do all that on a real Mac or can I do it on a vm?
You can make you USB on Windows. I have a video for that.

problem resolution with Apple A1316 monitor from Latitude E7240

I installed mac os catalina on Dell Latitude E7240 and everything works fine. A few days ago I acquired an Apple A1316 monitor. When I connect it to my computer through the Thunderbolt port, the screen works well with the resolution 2048x1152 but does not work well with the resolution 2560x1440. How can i fix this
To make external display working, you need to boot os with connected hdmi or it's working with connecting while os running?

This is an i7 IvyLake with HD4000 and Nvidia 650m. I think this is all supported but get panic errors, or boots to install screen with a weird white oval icon. Help!!!

Hi, I liked ur videos they are very informative and helpful. I did two Hacknitosh watching ur videos. But problem is text on them is not as crisp as on windows and they kind of slow aswell. Text is not blurry but not crisp. High Sierra with i5-4590, 1050ti and 16gb ram struggle to play hd youtube video. Any idea why? Or they r like that..
Are you sure you have accelerated graphics?

almost all working fine. Swapped out the wifi card. no webcam but not bothered. Only issue is battery meter showing zero and unticking in sys pref. probably needs dsdt patch at a guess
All working including webcam and battery meter. Not tried smart card slot. SD cards show up as an ipod but it's working. going to try wifi/bluetooth card next

Would you be able to help me with Hackintosh an Lenovo Thinkpad X240? I know that the card reader, wifi and the vga output won’t work. No problem I can use a dongle for Wifi and I prefer to use a mouse instead.

Great video, my e7740 is working well. The battery monitor does not show in status bar and Energy Saver app does not let me "check" the show in battery monitor status bar check box. Any ideas how to fix this?
