@@commando552 They said an XM82 but you may be right, we all know how hollywood likes to lincoln log smash things together to make props "look cool" lol.
Right? I dunno why they completely skipped over that scene, it's by far the most ridicolus clip between all the ones showed. FULLY automatic infinite tracer rounds barrett against a car.... and it can't ever penetrate simple steel sheets.
In the scene from SHOOTER, I spoke to the armorer for the film and the gun was indeed modified to cycle with blanks, but when they were filming the scene, the crap flying in from the helicopter stunts and close fly bys fouled up the action. There was grass and high weeds and dirt jamming the action so even though the M82 was blank adapted to fire semi auto, it wouldn't cycle because of all the stuff mucking up the bolt and chamber. So the actors were told to just manually eject the spent rounds and ram down the new live rounds (all blanks).
So I wanted to let ya'll know I have watched ya'll for a couple of years now. Being on SSI really have to make my money last to make it threw the month. Best $18.00 I have spent in a very long time!! The bullpup rifle is the M82A2, from when Barrett though a good sollution for attack helicopters would be a 50 cal fired standing from the shoulder aimed with a red dot.
The main reason the gun blew up was there was no pressure safety valve found in most rifles. The main reasons why the cartridge blew up in the chamber was there was an obstruction in the barrel, there was a cold weld between the bullet and the brass due to the age of the round and or there was too much powder in the round.
@@orlock20 kentucky has come out and stated the round was too hot, and that the pressure inside the chamber exceeded the screw caps 85,000 PSI pressure limit, causing it to literally explode
@@MrXennhorn The owner of the company claims in a recent video he never said the screw cap could withstand 85,000 PSI and now states an outside source that it would take 160,000 psi to cause that kind of failure. A company that doesn't know the stress needed for its safety system to fail kind of makes me wonder if there is any quality control. This has happened before with different cartridges which is why pressure release valves and bolt catchers exist on most rifles for over 100 years.
14:25 It is a M82A2. They were a bullpup semi auto the rested over the shoulder and the magazine well as a butt plate. I don't think there was a ever a 20mm version though. It was also used in Metal Gear Solid 4. I wish it was able to be purchased.
14:20 I thought that was the major first update/redesign of the Barret, bullpup configuration to reduce the length and also the weight and sending the recoil spring over the shoulder to also reduce length and altering the physics as a result, making it supposedly more comfortable for the user. Could swear I first read about it in mid-'90s.
First time I saw the Barrett was in Robocop. Not sure what model it was but it certainly piqued my interest God bless you all thank you for your service have a good day
What is funny about this is the guy on the right immediately reminded my of "School Boy" from the fourth rambo movie that was running the Barrett in the movie
The first time I saw a .50 cal sniper rifle used in a movie was in "Navy Seals" starring Charlie Sheen back in the 80s where a Seal Team member code named "God" shot thru a concrete wall to hit an enemy using a heat vision scope. The second time was in a Dolph Lundgren movie titled "Silent Trigger" where he used a .50 cal to take out a limousine from 2 miles away.
We used the muzzle break to be able to fire full automatic 50BMG blanks. Without the muzzle break, there wasn't enough energy blow back to cycle on full auto. (As in "Shooter")

I want to see Demolition Ranch put a ballistic dummy behind a car on it's side just to show how much that Hancock scene would NOT work.
Right? I dunno why they completely skipped over that scene, it's by far the most ridicolus clip between all the ones showed. FULLY automatic infinite tracer rounds barrett against a car.... and it can't ever penetrate simple steel sheets.
I fire an M82 for work every 3 months (or sooner if things "happen"). Wonderful weapon system. Thank you Barrett guys!!!
Robocop from the 1980's had a lot of 50 cal action.
Surprised they didn't react to that.
I was surprised they didn't touch on that one. I think that was one if the first showings of a Barrett in a movie.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your service!
These guys are great. They make me want to buy a 50 Cal.
That one with Kentucky ballistic video where his 50 nearly introduced him to god
So I wanted to let ya'll know I have watched ya'll for a couple of years now. Being on SSI really have to make my money last to make it threw the month. Best $18.00 I have spent in a very long time!! Love my AK coffee beans that came this morning!!! Am a very happy old lady!!
Thank you for your sevice!! God bless you all!!
I want to see black riffle react to Scott's gun blowing up
The bullpup rifle is the M82A2, from when Barrett though a good sollution for attack helicopters would be a 50 cal fired standing from the shoulder aimed with a red dot.
I was getting worried, scrolling through the comments and not seeing anyone mention the correct designation of the JP3 Barrett.
You guys missed out Robocop. They were blowing up cars with one in that movie.
That was a glaring omission right there. That film was likely a lot of people's first exposure to the Barrett .50 cal rifle to be honest.
And the blank round failing to eject and stove piping out the side of the action after blowing up the ED209 in the end. 😂
@@TheWombat2012 Wow. Never noticed that. I thought it was a charging handle :-)
Need to bring these guys back with Matt and the guys. They are so knowledgeable guns/movies and funny ass fuck. Keep it coming...
Holy crap y'all are from Tennessee? Take a guess who just went to the front of every line I have. I knew Barrett was here but not BRC.

"That's how it is walking into an IHOP as an amputee."🤣🤣🤣
I want to see them react to KENTUCKY BALLISTICS rifle explosion/ round malfunction. I know it's not a Barret, but I want to hear an expert explanation
ruclips.net/video/ardw09S7GfE/видео.html
Man, I saw that video title and I just started smiling!
"Spitting on it like a N64 game." F'ing newbie, you blow NES games. No one ever spit on a N64 to make it fit.
Don't do that either, it corrodes the contacts
@@TotallyNotAFox whoosh
@@ScottWaa haha funny reddit woosh
I loved the night vision sniper shot from rambo when you just see the top half of someone's head go north but he's all green
I know it's not a Barret but I think you all should have reacted to Kentucky Ballistics 50 cal blowing up
The main reason the gun blew up was there was no pressure safety valve found in most rifles.
Thoroughly entertained!! Hats off to you gentlemen!
I wish you asked them or let them comment on Kentucky Ballistics accident with the slap rounds. Maybe this was done beforehand?
These guys need their own show. Great video BRC
"He's not using high quality ammunition"
Well duh, they're using blanks.
This is probably my favorite video just because these guys are tops
14:20 that particular Barrett is an M82a2, an over the shoulder variant of the .50 Barrett that is no longer in Production
Thanks MGS4.
Loved the Barrett guys comments and knowledge
You need to get these guys on again. Awesome.
Great experts. More of these gents, please!
They're super close, so totally not out of the question.
Holy sweet Jesus I found your guy's coffee just a few days ago and I fudging love it

14:25 It is a M82A2. They were a bullpup semi auto the rested over the shoulder and the magazine well as a butt plate. I don't think there was a ever a 20mm version though. It was also used in Metal Gear Solid 4. I wish it was able to be purchased.
So happy I found this video.🤣🤣
I only had to watch 10 seconds of this post before I smashed the Like Button. God Bless you guys!
You get that falling brass T-shirt when you graduate from the repair course.
Yeah, I've got mine :)
As soon as the one guy said "I could just take my leg off" I knew this was gonna be a fun video.
In late 80's I had to use an M2 Ma Deuce that was so crappy I had to cycle the charger handle every 2 or 3 rounds.
These dudes are quick witted and hilarious.
Huh, I always wondered what happened to the XM109. Thanks, BRC! :)
This is my first time here and this was a awesome video.
I'm subbed now.
Cool content and good humor 👍👍
The first time I saw a .50 cal sniper rifle used in a movie was in "Navy Seals" starring Charlie Sheen back in the 80s where a Seal Team member code named "God" shot thru a concrete wall to hit an enemy using a heat vision scope. The second time was in a Dolph Lundgren movie titled "Silent Trigger" where he used a .50 cal to take out a limousine from 2 miles away.
You had me by : He's blowing, like its an N64 module. :-D
We used the muzzle break to be able to fire full automatic 50BMG blanks. Without the muzzle break, there wasn't enough energy blow back to cycle on full auto. (As in "Shooter")
Miami Vice M82 scene is another good one. The FBI guys getting lit up in the car in slo-mo is pretty brutal.
That Rambo clip is THE BEST Rambo clip EVER ! TOTAL GRINDHOUSE
