What an incredible unit! We have nothing but great things to say about Trinnov. We appreciate you having us on the channel Jiles and are excited to help any of your viewers that are interested in this amazing processor or anything else audio video related! Thanks again for sharing!
Unfortunately, I don't know if that will ever happen. Certain premium brands' products' value never decrease. For example, have you tried to look for used B&W Diamond D2s, or a more recent model would be any 4k Kaleidescape Players or Storage Units? Sure, they're less than MSRP, but maybe by 10%-20% at most. Don't get me wrong; hopefully what you said can happen in a decade or so. But if I'm being realistic, I doubt it.
Nothing else comes close. I had a Denon 8500H before the Altitude 32 and the Denon was a toy. “Surround sound” was a joke, it literally was not even close to how the Trinnov decodes surround.
Have had one for two years. Previously reviewed and owned other megabucks prepro's and not one matched the trinnov for the ability to produce superb sound in my media room. Does esp, of up to 20 speKERS, room correction, speaker time alignment and speaker position correction, can act as a four driver crossover, among myriad other things. After reviewing I bought it at full price. Well worth it.
Very clever but in terms of absolute sound quality is it head and shoulders above the rest of the competition which cost several thousand pounds (I’m in the U.K.) less?
@@JilesMcCoy yes sir, and this is the type of "fix" I expected from my processor/room correction. Whilst amplification and tweaking help, what you are talking about is worth the investment. Exactly why so many subscribe to Trinnov as the end game processor. Thank you for your review.

I know it’s 16 channels but does that include the subwoofer or is it 16 channels plus the LFE with the external DAC option? I guess I’m asking would this be up to 9.4.6 or 9.4.7?
If i were looking to upgrade, likely an AVM 90 at lower cost. Perhaps you will have the opportunity to set one up in your HT and comment on how similar or different it sounds vs the Trinnov. Meaningful comments when sorting out a purchase. @@JilesMcCoy
Are you keeping this unit? Are you going to show measurements to display how the said technology actually works ? Would be great to see objective data to back it up
I don't need 32 channels in my room, but its great for those that have a need for lots of speaker locations or that need multiple channels per speaker (using the altitude as a crossover for example). Should work pretty much like a 16 but with more capacity.
@@JilesMcCoy I had heard that Kaleidescape was offering a movie package for anyone that bought a Trinnov. Once I checked out the Trinnov 16, I think the 32 might be a better deal.
theory Audio states you need a processor for all your components to plug into, and then to their amplifier and their speakers are hooked up to the Class D amplifier.
It has more features than the muse. The correction tech is difference. Its based on an x86 platform. Both are great tools and I use Acurus every day .Love them!
The Altitude is so much better than my Denon 8500. The Denon was a toy compared to this. I used to think the Denon sounded great - wow, there is almost no comparison.
You state the Altitude 16,( and Amplitude 16,) are the top tier, yet my understanding is that the Altitude 32 is the top tier, flagship of Trinnov pre-pro devices.
Ultra expensive luxury processors! Trinnov Altitude 16 $19,500! Trinnov Altitude 32 $42,000! Of course they will send an engineer because it cost them half the price! The funny part is Trinnov used to be in the cheaper Sherwood AVR
@@JilesMcCoy No I meant how incredible the speakers and incredible amplifier is that drives these incredible speakers, but you need to have a processor to hook up your devices to and then out to the tiny amplifier and then out to the speakers.

Keep dreaming. Will never happen, largely because Trinnov units are upgradeable, mainly through software.

Why don’t they invent snap on hdmi cables for firm connections ???

Somebody told the processor in the Altitude 32 is better than the Altitude 32
The A32 allows for digital output, so you can use an external DAC. It also has built in WiFi. Faster CPU as well.
Trinnov, jvc projectors, kaleidiscape, etc. Things for rich people but i guess we can look for trickle down possibilities from this stuff.
Not really. Things for the enthusiast. If you know anyone driving s F150 they could have this in their theater. just depends where your passion lies.
