    I bought one a couple weeks ago. The Power Hammer with a custom handle. They just emailed me pictures of my finished knife for approval before shipping. It looks amazing. I can’t wait till it gets here.

    I have the 9"/5" Bowie and it is magnificent! I also got the western-style sheath as an accessory and it is better than custom sheaths I have had made for other knives. I strongly recommend KHHI in all respects. :)

    Seriously nice knife though, I have a few of your khukuris, and they're superbly made. I've used my Jungle panawal to cut down, section and baton a whole cherry tree. 👍

    Awesome video you guys! And you do such great work thank you for bringing to life the two blades DBAD helped me design; the PEACEKEEPER and the HIGHLANDERS COMPANION. They are such great blades and I look forward to future purchases.

    Wow the heat treat on that is amazing. I make knives for a hobby and use 5160 and do the usual heat treatment process. But you must do something a lot different in your heat treatment to be able to do those things like that. Any tips on how to the get the steel to preform like that would be greatly appreciated. But I understand if you keep it secret. Just so iam clear after seeing you chop that nail I basically see you as a wizard. And would just like to know more.

    I have this knife, love it, and I believe the tip is hard, whereas in traditional kukris it is deliberately made softer to prevent snapping if hit against stone or something hard.

    On your website, I see options for the purchase of additional items like a "pouch", "Kydex sheath" and "western-style leather sheath". Do you have pictures of these items because I could not find any for the models I was looking at?

    How does your warranty work. I got a d bad mission 111 and broke 1 inch off the tip my first stab into a tree. 2 months of waiting and destroyed in 5 minutes of getting it out of the box. I’m super disappointed and bummed out. That was gonna be my edc

      Ok thank you. That's v strange as our knives are v well tested before shipping. This is the 1st complaint we are getting. Anyways sir no problem. We will fix this. We will contact you soon. May I have your sale id??

      @@KHHINepal sale id 28183. I couldn’t believe it. Utterly shocked when it happened . I’ve watched your videos and your process and testing is why I chose your company. I think it’s a freak accident. The blade looked perfect and the sheath is amazing. Your craftmen have incredible skill. I’ve already ordered 4 more blades being made now and believe they will fine.

      If you noticed in the video the log he hammered the knife into was rotten as hell. It fell apart! Don't stab trees knucklehead, that's not what knives are for. Not even these big things. Better luck on your next purchase.

    what is the steel made of ?

    • @KHHINepal
      @KHHINepal  2 года назад

      We only use 5160 and 52100 high carbon steel to make knives. This bowie is made from 52100.

    The only problem I have with some of your knives is the tip is too soft.
    I've had some fail on me the edge is great but your tips are always too soft.
    So have you improved the tips on your bowie knives & how does this compare to the phase 2 bowie?
    I would very much like you to do a video on that one aswell
    & a close up on the tip after testing.
    Thanks for your video

    • @KHHINepal
      @KHHINepal  3 года назад +2

      Thank you. Actually the tip is intentionally made soft. The hardness is removed after the heat treatment. This is because to avoid tip break or chip off when it hits any hard object. The objective here is to let the tip bent so that it can be fixed rather than its chips off from the body. This is also mentioned on the site. Nonetheless, Bowie has very hard tip and it is well tested before shipping.

      @@KHHINepal I meant no disrespect I'm only telling you my experience with 4 different blades that's all
      To make a great bowie not only does it need to be a good chopper but also good for stabbing & piecing & If it's a big bowie with alot of weight behind it the tip needs to be able to take the weight of the blade aswell or it will bend or break.
      I've been using bowies all my life & If the tip doesn't flex with the rest of the blade it will break or bend

    • @KHHINepal
      @KHHINepal  3 года назад +2

      @@leearrowsmith3872 we understand what you mean. Thank you for your suggestion. We are already working on this. Bowies have much stronger tip than the kukris. We will solve this one too. Namaste
