      Did you gut them? Seems strange eating guts...lol

    They are just as tasty simply sprinkled with salt and grilled over charcoal, and then a squeeze of fresh lemon just befire eating. It's a shame they're so underrated fish in some countries.

    Hi thank you for the video. In general food has to swim in oil for tasty frying; what should we do to the rest of the oil when frying is over. The oil will have strong taste and can not be used again like they do for french-fries. Any idea please?

    • @howtocookgreat
      @howtocookgreat  3 года назад +1

      You can only really use the fish oil to cook more fish in unless you d not mind your fries tasting of fish.

      Pour a mixture of corn flour with water into the oil when the temperature goes down. Put paper towel onto the filter and filter.

  • @dancingdoll9792
    @dancingdoll9792 2 года назад +4

    I don't fry this way... instead make a paste with all of the ingredients and add some lemon juice into it and apply on the fishes.. refrigerate for about an hour or two and then shallow fry will leave the oil clean and also the masala on the fish fully absorbed. :)))))😋😋😋

    • @rickrolls3786
      @rickrolls3786 2 года назад

      Alright. I'll try both ways. Mine are frozen. I was going to go straight from the freezer to the pan like I often do fish fillets. I think I'll do a few like that first and taste them. Then thaw some and gut them. I'm definitely eating the heads. Thanks for answering!
