    Me and my brother were home alone and my mom said she wasint gonna bring us food cause we didn’t clean the house but when she came home she was mad jealous😭😂 and im only 13 and it was easy for me yet delicious. Thnxs for the recipe😆

      @obliterator deathcon 4 if you put a lot of anything in something, the flavour of it, increases. I'm just trying to say that paprika is one of the most mild spices, and certainly - in my experience anyway - wouldn't be one that people consider spicy, in that it doesn't have any heat, nor does it have an abundance of flavour. But I suppose it comes down to individual taste buds as well. And yes, paprika is one of those spices that works very well in huge quantities. I too put it in my fish mixture

    I used this method and my husband LOVED it. I used smoked paprika. I also sprinkled a little seasoning salt on it after it came out of the oil.

    Add a 1/3 tsp of baking powder to the dry mix and really amp up the crispiness.

    I have my seasoned fish sit in a beer and egg mixture overnight before the frying process. This helps to make the crunch, crunchier and it just makes them taste better.

    LOVED and appreciated your comment about the egg wash. I always thought that was a wasted step ! I will pull my fish out of the freezer and put them in salted water as you suggested. I’m also going to make a blooming onion to go with it and veggies. I have a deep fat fryer so I’m going to use that. Thanks SO much ! I subscribed to your channel based on this video alone !     I've never head of creating an egg wash to fry fish....whether the fish is wet or not. I heard it for chicken to create extra batter/crispiness. You learn something new everyday.

    I am diabetic but...... after watching the way u just cooked (fried) this fish, I will make it a habit to make this at least 2x a year for myself only. Havent eaten fried fish since I was married in the 80's. Great video PhillyBoyJayCookingShow

    Man that is some yummy looking fish! Evenly golden brown and not overcooked. You took your time and let the heat do the work. I like that you didn't turn it but one time. To me, that is the mark of a good cook. Thanks for the video sir.

    I never tried pollock filets before. I like frying flounder filets. Then making a fish sandwich with a garlic spread toasted bun in the toaster oven. And some provolone cheese slices. I use McCormicks fish fry breading. If I have lettuce I put that on the sandwich too.

    Looks SO GOOD!!! I don't use a egg wash either when it is most. I think it takes away from the natural taste of the the fish, chicken and pork chops. I love to cook more simply to not cover up the taste of your main course. I grew up in the rural South and was able to get fresh chicken, fish or pork chops. Never frozen and that makes a huge difference. But now a days that isn t the way things are. It's sad because it really makes a difference to how it taste.

    I'm sitting here enjoying the way that you are cooking your food you're very clean your taking your time your seasonings are great I love garlic powder onion powder lightly salted due to a blood pressure problem of course all your seasons are great and you're cooking very carefully very neat the fish is brown like it should be perfect I love it I love food the color of my skin I'm brown skin light brown is perfect keep the good work up I love it

    I love all your recipes paper towel all you have to do is take a piece of them before you with a 4in poke little holes in it and have it in a splint and looking for some type of that on top of that and it holds its the same thing as having paper tower that's all and keep up the good work I love all your videos

    A gallon sized plastic bag works best to put your mix into as you can just toss pieces of fish into it, shake it up and when done, just toss the bag out and no washing of a bowl

    Great video fun to watch too , I used your tips to fry some fresh haddock fillets the only problem I had is when I went to turn it over in the sizzling pan i used cooking tongs, just one of them and the fish all pretty much fell apart , lol, it was still good tho, Thank You, Sir !

      @@jaymichele9572 I didn't follow a certain amount. I just followed the seasonings he used before frying the fish. I recommend you season the fish lightly if you are using fish fry that's already seasoned. I hope it turns out good 😊

    A lil bit of red pepper, sea salt( minus the regular salt) and its all good!
