  • @herklegend4166

    it is not called automatically its got destination dispatch and its on proirity service meaning someone (like security) is sending it to your floor

    • @peterobinson2786
      @peterobinson2786 3 года назад

      It was auto-called at one point but there were too many thickos that then also called using the panel controls, so efficiency was compromised. We now just call them using our building access cards from the control panels (when we're allowed into the building of course!)

    the fastest elevator in the world/europe is not placed in any highrise building or scyscraper , its actually placed inside a themepark attraction at the Disney parks, its the elevator inside Tower Of terror,and what makes the attraction work and so scary. the elevator is just a specialized version of a normal elevator car, and works just the same,its just much bigger and faster and far more powerfull than a normal ordinary highspeed elevator. A heavy duty steel cable creates a loop of cable attached both the top and bottom of the elevator car.the heavy counterweight is placed at the opposite side of the loop, the same cable loop and motor that pulls the car up, also pulls it down.The motors that runs the elevator car is, 12´tall,7´ wide,and 35´ long, wich makes each motor for each elevator shaft the size of a car garage, about 3 times larger than any highspeed elevator in the world.They are not only huge, they are also incredible heavy, and they are placed at the top of the building, they weigh about 132,000 lbs , wich means that they exert 432 pounds pr square foot on the steelframe they rest on, the hotel facade is not bearing structure its just buildt around it to look nice,. How many motors are there in TOT in Florida? it has 6 huge motors,4 for each of the back lift shafts, used for the lift sequence into the 5th dimension and, 2 for the drop sequence in the 2 fall shafts, the other TOT attraction rides has only 3 motors as all the action happens in one of the shafts.The Motors accelerates 10 tons 15 times faster than any of the fastest elevators in the world, in case you are wondering the torque generated to move the cars up and down the elevator shaft is equvivalent to 275 corvette engines, the elewator car, travels at 39 mhp, wich is faster than acceleration of gravity it self,the wind you feel inside the ride shaft is fake, thats made of gigantic fans at the bottom of the shaft blowing wind up inside it.So when you are on TOT, you dont fall, but are pulled down in a controlled manner,faster than gravity,. The fastest normal highspeed elevator travels safely at about 37,3 mph, wich is fast,and are considered the worlds fastest public elevator, but actually it is not the worlds fastest elevator, that cary people!, that elevator is the record breaking elevator named Tower Of Terror ,buckle up ! sit down and relax, you are about to travel into the 5 dimension, you are about to travel into, the twilightzone,.

    • @funcik1
      @funcik1  9 лет назад +2

      +Thor Kipperberg You cannot compare simple passanger lift to the scary falling-down attraction from Disneyland. As I said before, I'm following according to satistics. This is the fastest elevator in europe 8m/s

    • @ThorKipperberg
      @ThorKipperberg 9 лет назад +1

      sure you can compare them, as both are elevators and buildt the same,. only thing that is different is the size of the motors and the speed the TOT attraction has,compared to a "normal" highspeed elevator for "safe" travel..

    • @funcik1
      @funcik1  9 лет назад +3

      They have different purpose. One of them is transporting passanger to certain level whereas the other attemts to scare us for reason. You cannot compare them, despite being an cabin on the ropes. One of them have special seats, the other is normal.
