1978: I was twelve years old & attended summer camp when this wonderful song was riding the music charts! What a great summer it was - I felt carefree & didn't have one single care or worry in the world! Man, do I miss those days! Gotta give props when these ladies play their own instruments & sing! A Taste of Honey were before either The Go-Gos or The Bangles in this regard.
    Bravo, Ladies (& Gentleman)!

Back in 1979 I traveled with them to play in different states. Then in August of the same year, after I got back from competing in the PanAm Games, Perry Kibble (on keyboard) flew me out to LA to hang out with them. Went to various recording studios, including Stevie Wonder's. Great memories. RIP Perry!

LOL, this was one of the first songs I learned how to (misplay), as a freshmen in HS. They are totally awesome! I wondered what happened to them until I saw the 20 year reunion. What a shame they stopped playing for all those years. God, I wish soul music would make a comeback. I miss the big horns, big voices SINGING, meaningful words and almost 100% positive music.
